PROs- good varieties of bagel , good location, parking CONs- pricey , service , takes a lot of time First timer : was in the area and was looking for a good breakfast . First of all, they don't do omlettes. Was surprised .. all they have is a lot of varieties of bagels and good cream cheese . service was very slow . Took them about 15-20 mins to make our order -3 bagels and egg on a bagel . Seemed very pricey . They charged about 8$ for egg on a bagel . In other places , you get an omlette for the same price . Bagel with cream cheese was good but they didn't toast the bagel much . Was a bit hard . Coffee was good . Milk shake was good too. Lots of parking outside . Good location . Overall an average experience..

Nova Lox & Bagel brunch with blueberry muffin and hashbrown

Ordered a bagel with lox brunch special using uber eats. Arrived to pick up my order and was told it was not in the system so ended up having to wait longer than usual because the place was super busy. Bagel was okay, on the same level to what I can make and put together at home. Came with a blueberry muffin and a hash brown tot infused with cheese, the muffin is what you can typically buy in a grocery store, the hash brown was interesting and had a mochi like texture, I prefer my hash brown more on the crispy side. Recommend ordering ahead and be cautious when using uber eats.

It had been quite a while since I've been to this Einstein's. My last visit to one of them was the now defunct Herndon location. That one was not good and was mercifully put out of its misery. With that in mind, I wondered how the Reston location was doing these days. I went on a freezing cold Sunday with the intention of getting some bagels to have for dinner. With the frigid temps, neither of us felt like venturing far from home. So, I bundled up and walked over here. I was here on a Sunday around 2 p.m. There were two customers ahead of me. The first thing I noticed was that the young woman manning the counter was the only employee there. She was filling orders and ringing them up. Still, she was fast and efficient. When I gave her my order, I also noticed that she was friendly, too. That was very impressive considering she had to do it all on her own. I ordered a Nova bagel without onions. At that hour, there weren't many bagels left. I chose a sesame seed bagel. The Nova bagel has cream cheese, Nova lox, tomato, capers and onions. She gladly made mine onion-free. My husband wanted a garlic bagel with cream cheese. All this cost $10 + change which made for a cheap meal. I liked my Nova bagel. It was very well made. My husband also enjoyed his garlic bagel. I was pleased to see that this Einstein has its act together (although they should have had another employee to help out). Still, I hope those in charge appreciate the young woman who single handedly took care of things. And, yes, we will return for more bagels---and try to get there earlier in the day for the best bagel selection.

On Mother's Day, by 11am, they were out of bagels and were not making any more. This is not the first time something like this has happened.

Matcha is still growing on me, and this was the perfect drink to make me appreciate it even more. I also tried the croissant, warmed up, and it was light, flaky, and absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back! The café also had a steady crowd, which seemed to be mostly local, a great sign that this place is a neighborhood favorite. Overall, a wonderful experience with great drinks, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Was visiting former neighbors who now live out in Reston and they recommended this shop which has been open since May 2025 to long lines and enthusiastic crowds. This is the second location of De Clieu coffee, with the first being in Old Towne Fairfax https://www.yelp.com/biz/de-clieu-fairfax-fairfax?osq=De+Clieu+-+Fairfax. The first thing visitors to the Reston outpost will notice is the extremely small parking lot...and not only that, the parking spots are very narrow. I heeded my friends' advice and parked on the street to avoid dings to my door panel. I agree with their assessment that this place is "quaint and cozy." There is an outdoor patio with a few tables/chairs for al fresco dining. I really like the interior design aesthetic. The color palette leans towards darker browns with shades of blonde hardwood which contrasts with all of the natural lighting from the ample windows. I didn't order anything fancy since when I try a new coffeeshop, I want to taste their "regular" house drip coffee. I like that there is an option for the "light" or "dark" roast, and I definitely needed a hit of the strong stuff to wake up. And you know what? The dark roast packed a deep, rich, strong yet flavorful punch without being overly bitter. I added a few splashes of 1/2+1/2 from the well-stocked condiment bar and my morning cup of java was perfect. My friends ordered lattes (both espresso and Matcha Green tea), while their kids enjoyed steaming hot cups of hot chocolate. We had a lovely time catching up on life as their kids entertained themselves playing Roblox on their iPads. I will say that due to the high ceilings, this place can get LOUD. The roughly 90 minutes that I was there, the place was completely packed with customers with take-out orders as well as staying in to enjoy beverages and food. I didn't order any food, but the sandwiches and pastries in the display case did appear fresh and were quite popular. Having not been to their Fairfax location, I'm more inclined to do so as I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at De Clieu- Reston.

Sometimes you just want to reward yourself with something sweet and…read moredelicious.  That's why we decided to head on over to Twisted Sweets & Savory.  We had never had chimney cakes before - an omission that shall not be allowed to happen again because - Yum!  These are like if really sugary donuts were stretched out into long snakes of dough and then coiled up until it made a wonderful open tube to be coated with all sorts of great things. We chose to do the pistachella and the bounty.  They both featured Nutella and if that wasn't enough, one added crushed pistachios and the other coconut flakes.  They were very tasty but very rich and between the two of us, we had to admit defeat before finishing them both.  Happily, there are to go boxes to bring home any remainders.  The space is very clean and there are tables and lots of napkins (which you will need because these treats are both awesome and very messy).  The staff was very friendly and the parking is easy in the lot out front.  We will have to come back again to try some of the savory options to definitely be followed up by another dessert one. MMMMMM

Grant Street, it turns out, is disjointed. In other words, it's not like it's just a straight shot from one end to the other. We stopped in here on a Saturday around 4 p.m. The place closes at 6 p.m., and are closed on Sunday. At that time of day, they weren't at all busy. The young man at the counter took our orders, and someone working in the back made the sandwiches. We just ordered savory items, so we can't speak to how the sweet items are (although some of them sounded so good). I ordered the salmon sandwich, which consists of: "Choice of your chimney bread, spread with dill cream cheese, filled with smoked Atlantic salmon, spring mix, cucumber, and red onion." The bread choices are everything bagel, jalapeno, and cheesy. I chose the everything bagel and asked for no onion. I found this sandwich to be tasty, but I thought they could have gone lighter with the dill cream cheese. The bread had a nice crispness. My husband ordered the ham and Swiss sandwich, which consists of: "Choice of your chimney bread, spread with paprika mayo and filled with black forest ham, Swiss cheese, fresh romaine hearts, spring mix, sweet pepper, tomato, cucumber, and red onion". He wasn't happy with the paprika mayo, as he says mustard would have worked better. Nor did he care for the sweet peppers. Now he knows not to order the default setting for this sandwich but instead to customize the toppings. They work with DoorDash, which, when ordering online, gives the option to customize one's order. There are high tables, the type that are found in bars, for those who want to eat their sandwiches there. The place is kept very clean.

Drive around if you need to, and you'll eventually find the sign. Should you go through all that trouble to find the place? Umm, yes, because the sub I had here was really tasty and gave me a homey feel. It's family-run, and the staff was very friendly. If you are out of ideas for lunch and nearby, consider trying the subs at this place. You won't regret it. The thick double plastic bags are overkill, though. I wish they would use paper wraps and paper bags instead. Something to improve upon.

We both ended up liking this sub so much that we've now had it two more times. This sub consists of: "capicola, mortadella, pepperoni, Genoa salami, lettuce, tomato and provolone cheese." We got them with oil and vinegar and a sprinkling of salt and pepper. The second time we ordered 2 subs using Doordash. These subs came with the default toppings which are mayonnaise, onions and hot peppers. We both agreed that we prefer them with just the oil and vinegar plus salt and pepper. These subs are the best we've had. The bread is soft and fresh plus the family who owns the place knows how to assemble a sub so that everything is packed in well, thus making it easier to eat. All the ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The family who runs it is very friendly. We were pleasantly surprised when we went there recently, since we were in the area, and decided to buy 2 subs to go, that the lady who waited on us when we first went there, remembered us! The one drawback---They are located in an office park. Thus their business hours correspond to regular work hours. On Thursday and Friday, they do stay open until 6 p.m. They are closed on the weekends. So...basically, it's a hidden gem. If you like subs, it's worth a visit or an order on Doordash. And, yes, we will be back!
