Cool cafe with pretty mid food…read more The ambiance inside is really relaxing; plenty of comfortable seating with plenty of plants around to make a warm and inviting space. The cafe is attached to a store, but that doesn't really affect the cafe all that much. The tablecloths used have a tendency to slide around very easily. We got the tempe blt panini and tempeh Ruben panini with their fries. The fries and ketchup were the best tasting item. You can add extras to the sandwiches, but that gets pretty pricey pretty fast. I added on avocado for $2, which was left off my sandwich so be sure to check that your food is correct. They did give me a small cup of avocado when I went up to the front, but I unfortunately did not notice it was missing until I had already eaten half of my sandwich. The food itself was a bit greasy. Not too overwhelming, but enough that it affected the meal. The sandwiches are pretty small, but filling enough for a lunch sized portion. Beyond food, everything else is self service (water, napkins, utensils). Not bad unless you have limited mobility, then it will be difficult to maneuver around the tables to the small cramped corner that everything else is located. When a gentleman asked the staff if they would bring him a fork (needed assistance walking), the staff only pointed again where the utensils were located before walking away.

The service is always friendly and attentive Ambiance is comfortable and relaxed And the restaurant is clean. They are always busy, which speaks to their excellence. (parties of 6 or more would do well to call ahead, just to be safe) This is a family owned business, and it feels like it. The pride, dedication, and effort that is put in every single day. It is commendable. Being a small business owner is not easy day in and day out, but they make it look easy. Like they say, love what you do, and you will never work a day in your life. I think the folks at Shipwreck truly love what they do. They are always smiling, always have a friendly greeting. We have never had the pleasure of enjoying their dinners, but their lunch and breakfasts are delicious, and you will never leave hungry. They also have a scrumptious dessert cabinet (if you have room! or get a dessert to go. Just a suggestion) They also have a variety of cocktails. Bon Appetit!

Anticipated our every need and delivered what I'd call 'over the top hospitality!' She's a keeper! Clean, friendly, great food, great service, amazing ambiance and they also serve a great drink too! Wife had Loco Moco Oly style and I had chicken fried steak & eggs. One of the best breakfast's we've ever had in the PNW. In particular note, the hash browns were cooked and served to perfection - just the right amount of delicious brown crispness without being soggy. We'll be back!

The pork wasn't grilled, it tasted like it was microwaved, there was no flavor at all, the veggies were limp, there was no jalapeño or anything and no Vietnamese mayo, the only good part was the bread. We ordered three sandwiches, one for each of us and one for our son. We just shared the 1, and gave most of that to our dog. We brought the other 2 home. My son took a bite and couldn't eat any more of it. And he eats everything lol I absolutely hate wasting food and money like this. I was really, really looking forward to a bahn mi sandwich. I'm having oral surgery in a week and won't be able to eat them for a very, very long time, maybe never again. We live in Aberdeen and were in town for a doctor's appointment, and our usual spot is closed on Thursdays. So I found this place on yelp. Huge disappointment. And I'm bummed that I have to leave this review because the service was great. The gentleman at the counter, who took our order and cooked our food was super friendly and nice. And maybe the other food there is good, but if you're looking for a bahn mi, go somewhere else. It was literally the worst we've had.
