Hair pulled out of middle of sandwich

I ordered through the mobile app and when i arrived at the store i was not greeted. I stood by the cash register waiting for someone to talk to me for a whole 2 mins about my order that I can see is done on the counter and not the pick up shelf. I didn't feel comfortable grabbing it without being acknowledged. Finally got my order when the employees stopped talking about their personal life. When I received my order I went to my car to start eating, I took a couple bits and then noticed a hair in my sandwich which than made me look at both half's. That when I found multiple hairs sticking out of the middle of my sandwich. I went back inside to tell an employee which all they said was " oh I'm sorry... I can remake it." While walking away from me. She remade the sandwich and offered me a drink or cookie. What would have been better was being offered a refund and them improving their customer service. I am a shift lead at a fast food restaurant and wouldn't treat a customer like that.... Especially if hair is found in the food. Do better.

    Nova Lox

This is my second time ordering the Nova Lox bagel. First time was fine, but this is just a sick joke.

Blackberry lemonade, honey almond shmear, maplehouse double egg sandwich

The new Maplehouse bagel is a thing to be reckoned with. With a flavor profile as strong as a body builder but the lightness of a ballerina. Beautiful combination that will guarantee a smile on anyone who tries it. Have a great day... I know I am. Thank you, #Einsteinbros

quick breakfast. No that coffee isn't Einstein's. Bad of me.

So, my Bethany Village neighborhood strip mall needs a proper, decent bagel shop that delivers. With coffee. Espresso. We don't have one. A girl can dream, right? BTW there is a great spot for one where the yoga studio was. Just sayin'. Einstein's is the closest place. We had breakfast delivered from there today. It is my Friday, I have chemo tomorrow, and I've been told to eat more and better the day before for a better outcome. So my teen figured out food at 8am while I was starting my work day from home and our breakfast arrived about a half hour later. My bagel sandwich was hot, the egg was nice, the cheese was melted, the bacon was crispy, and the bagel was toasted. It was not the Asiago bagel my teen ordered for me but it was a fine plain bagel. My kid reported their hash brown breakfast bagel was good as well. Same contents inside. There were also juices, apple and orange, squishy cheesy hash brown thingies, and a blueberry muffin and churro bagel for later. Hot things arrived hot, cold things arrived cold. There was nothing wrong really but also nothing memorable. It was fine. I upped them a star from last time because the blueberry muffin is pretty dang good and teen liked the churro number. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat there, but it does what it does pretty well.

Lots of clean seating inside. There is also seating outside.

Einstein Bros Bagels is a bagel and coffee chain restaurant with about eleven locations in the Portland metro area. This particular location is close to home so it was only a matter of time before we would wander in here to check it out. My roommate loves bagels. I knew going in that this was not a top of the line gourmet bagel house, so expectations were only slightly above grocery store bagel level. The place was not too crowded and fairly clean. We were checking out the available bagel flavors when Amy came by to assist us. She was great. She informed us about a great deal they have all day on Mondays where you can get 13 bagels for only 7.00 with fancy bagels costing slightly more. She was very helpful and offered great customer service that you rarely find at those gourmet bagel houses. Amy made our first visit to Einstein Bros Bagels a very positive one. We left with 13 bagels and 5 delicious sounding schmears. The bagels were better than expected. They were crispy on the outside with a dense texture and quite chewy. The schmears were also good. They are whipped and easy to spread. The honey almond flavor is great. So while Einstein Bros might not have the top of the line gourmet bagels, what they have isn't too bad. And if you're lucky enough to be served by Amy, you will have great service. If you're in the area give them a try.

Bagel box and bag of order.

This was my first experience with Einstein Bros. I needed bagels for a work function and they were my first thought, and open early enough. All of the staff were extremely friendly and a great diverse mix of a team. The person at the register guided me through the process with ease. With their quick service I was out of there in a few minutes. The bagels and muffins were a delicious hit with the team. Ordered an assorted baker's dozen box and I got to choose my Schmear flavours out of the case. Which was a great perk as I could take my time to decide. Definitely going back for a personal breakfast soon.

Good bagels, fast friendly service. Usually not TOO crowded. Honestly, I usually buy my cream cheese at the grocery store.

I want Sunrise to know that the establishment did not bring this on itself…read more My Jersey family and I have lived out here for several years and I have avoided Sunrise because they are incredibly up-front about their process: They don't prepare their dough in the same fashion as bagel shops in the New York metro area or even Montreal and they do not boil bagels. I've been burned enough by bagel-shaped rolls to walk headlong into a shop that explicitly makes them, but friends of the family presented them as their favorite "bagels" this week. The extra star is for Sunrise's honesty. It's a buyer-beware situation for folks from back east, and they seem to have interacted with enough of us to wear their same on their sleeve. But the lacking stars come from both the product and the process. We went to get the bagels and told them we needed a dozen. Our friends typically don't order that many, so they were also a bit surprised to hear that you have to call in an order for anything above six (6) and wait an hour. That this happened during a week when I went to Bentley's--a place that actually boils a dense bagel--and ordered a mixed six myself on a Sunday without issues already reflected poorly on Sunrise. We jumped through that hoop, but putting together a baker's dozen here proved a bit of a nightmare. Why is half of the bagel menu either fruit or cheese? Why are most of the cream cheeses sweet tapanades or basically tomato/pepper jam? I tried to play it safe with some onion, garlic, poppy, and salt bagels, and had an egg sandwich during our wait, which was closer to 15 minutes than an hour. The "egg" was a puck that seemed as if it came straight from the carton, and the plain bagel was exactly as i'd feared: A bagel-shaped roll with a somewhat tacky exterior. If I'd placed it it the bagel splitter, it would've mushed into a dough ball. Also, coffee seems to exist in its own universe in this shop and had to be ordered after everything else. Is this for tax purposes? Can your accountant explain this? I don't really see why it has to be this way. Each cream cheese (we went with chive and lox) was scraped into 8-ounce tubs by hand--which is honestly more normal than the detractors would believe. But we got home to family who seemed to know what we were getting into: My sister got out the bread knife, battled the sponges, and tossed them directly into the toaster. The result? Regrettable. I'd had some of the best bagels I'd had in the Portland metro area in nearly 15 years just days before, only to wash them down with reminders of why I generally don't get bagels in this state anymore and have developed a deep affinity for breakfast burritos. This place has a lot of great reviews, and I'll let Rob Reiner and Aaron Sorkin explain why that is: "People don't drink the sand because they're thirsty. They drink the sand because they don't know the difference." In a bagel desert west of the tunnels, Sunset Bagels is the old, grizzled harbinger with one working eye and a permanent scowl, warning travelers heading west on Barnes Road and 26 "Turn back... there be no bagels here."

They did warm up the cinnamon roll which was soft and delicious and I love that they source their pastries from surrounding small businesses like the gluten free Blue Moon Bakery! Smart partnership! My friend got her toddler daughter an Italian Soda and they gave her a kids whipped cream cup with confetti sprinkles which was super cute. She also found the hidden bear and got a sticker as well. I love when businesses make it fun for the kids. Bonus they had a local artist spotlight showcase which was so neat!
