Apple cinnamon bagel with cream cheese

I normally love Einstein, not going back to this location. Idk how this passed any sort of quality control (see photo) also seemed to be quite undersized.

So fresh and so clean

The best and cleanest Einstein out there! We love the staff and they are incredibly kind! We drive here from Zionsville just to hit the Carmel Einstein! Great store!!

Cinnamon roll

We ordered first and then picked up to save time. The food was really good. The cinnamon roll was delicious and the iced vanilla coffee was also good. Prices run a little high compared to other fast food places, but it worth the extra money just for the taste and quality. Einstein has an app and you can take survey via the receipt and get free bagels. If you like bagels, give this place a try!

Waited at least 10 minutes in drive thru behind only 1 car. Paid $3 each for 3 cinnamon sugar bagels and essentially got plain bagels. Confirmed they were cinnamon sugar and was told yes but in fact there was basically none on it.

Egg shell in the sandwich and loads of black pepper.

Ordered an egg ham and Swiss on an Asiago bagel. The bagel is good. I didn't really care for the egg because of the large pepper sprinkled all over it. After eating the first half, I wanted to see how much pepper was on the second half. Glad I did because I found an egg shell attached to the egg.

I love that they have order ahead and an app where you can earn points on. Customer service was great. They had a deal where I could get a free bagel for my dog with a sandwich or burrito order. Also, they have great coffee and smoothie drinks. There is lunch sandwiches offered at this business also. I say go check out this business if you have not before.

USED NICOTINE POUCH in breakfast sandwich

Unbelievable. This experience of a staffs NICOTINE POUCH is still is bothering me. Just foul. After trying to reach out to corporate with no response and a very unapologetic, taking no blame, and saying it could be "anything", but probably a burnt jalapeno from this staff. My bacon cheddar egg sandwich was serviced with a side of someone's used NICOTINE POUCH. I had eaten half of my sandwich when I saw it laying on the other half in the wrapper from Einsteins. Seriously one of the nastiest things that has happened in a food environment EVER. When I took it back to the store to ask what the heck, the lady defensively said no one here does that and said that it could be anything from the restaurant. It could have come out of the toaster, been an avacado piece, a burnt jalapeno from toaster, a laundry list of things...everything except what it clearly was, a wet USED NICOTINE POUCH.

Jalapeno-cheddar bagel: frankly, it's sad.
Lavanya N.

Honestly, I'm not the harshest critic when it comes to bagel joints. I grew up on frozen bagels, Panera and, when my parents got fancy, Shapiro's. Needless to say, I'm no New Yorker (even though I wish I was) so a Panera asiago cheese or plain bagel still holds a very special place in my heart. I went with Einstein last week, simply because they threw a free bagel-schmear in my app. I figured, why not? And I'd had Einstein years ago and hadn't hated it. They have great variety and flavors, but the positives end there. Not only is the service completely abysmal, getting one bagel TO GO takes at least 30 minutes (obnoxious? Obviously). The staff was more interested in taking multiple breaks than serving the insane lines that filled the store AND drive-thru, and my actual bagel had so few jalapeno pieces and was missing patches of cheese, which is just weird. The bagel itself tasted like play-doh: Even the small amount of cream cheese they gave us couldn't salvage a, frankly, pathetic bagel. Sure, my standards have gone up, but Einstein's have gone down. That goes without saying.

We were so happy that we did because not only was the food and service amazing, but we also ran into a good friend who was also there enjoying a meal with a friend. The restaurant is on the smaller side and was pretty full when we arrived. We were sat at a table just behind the partition at the front of the restaurant. The chairs to the table appeared to be intentionally mismatched, two with cushioned seats and two without. We shuffled them around in order to make us both comfy. I was going to order the breakfast tacos, but I'm not a fan of the "scrambled eggs mixed with hash browns and your choice of Mexican chorizo..." I prefer all of my taco components to be separate. To that end, I ordered the El Mexicano Skillet with scrambled eggs. I substituted chorizo in place of the carnitas and requested tortillas in place of toast. Everything was perfect and I used the components to build my own breakfast tacos. It was delicious. My husband had the Two Eggs Combo and added 2 mini waffles to the meal. He enjoyed his food and the coffee very much. I ordered a mimosa flight that we shared. My favorite flavors were the strawberry mango and the peach, so hubby got stuck with the classic and strawberry orange! The service and the atmosphere were the cherry on our Sunday!

You can build your own omelette or order a typical Mexican breakfast or American style. They are very kind and the service is attentive. My waiter was friendly and my meal was brought out within 10 min of ordering. I arrived on a Wednesday morning before work around 10:00 AM. The cafe was not aa busy at that time. By the time I was finishing up then came a lunch rush and steady flow of people to dine in. I prefer maybe less onions and spinach in my veggie omelette it also comes with mushrooms, I asked for no broccoli. It was just a bit too much for one person. And I guess I don't care for watery omelettes the avocado slices were good. Overall the omelette needs more seasoning or salt and pepper it tasted like water and spinach to me. Couldn't enjoy without mixing it with the side of smoked sausage (ham). If you enjoy meat. I recommend to skip the veggie omelette and just get something with bacon in it next time. The side of diced potatoes were my favorite of my meal. I like the crisp and they did not taste burnt. They were cooked well and were even better with ketchup. I added one slice of sourdough toast your omelette comes with two sides. I wanted to do a quick journal entry and I brought a magazine to read but the music was a bit loud in the cafe. It was more of a louder space they played alternative rock and contemporary music. I had to wear my headphones to try and focus. If you are going to enjoy your meal and chat this is ok for that but not if you have like a work call or zoom this is not the cafe for you. Overall it's a good vibe. I wan't to go back and try a traditional mexican breakfast next time something with tortillas maybe. I also did not try their pancakes which looked good on the menu. They have a nice offering of mimosas if you are into that. A fresh fruity cocktail may have nice today. Jackie M. - 09/17/2026

We arrived around 9:30ish on a Sunday and it was less than half full, although it definitely filled up by the time we left an hour later. Host promptly took us to a table on the east/right side of the dining space that consisted of a booth along the wall-side and chairs on the interior. There is a menu and other info on the west/barside wall, murals and windows on the north and south side walls, but the east wall I faced was plain and had nothing to look at, so mildly annoying for when my wife left the table. Acoustics were OK, although it was noticeably louder at then end of our meal when it had filled up. Our server was good. She was prompt in tending to us and very pleasant. The food took a bit from order to table, although that seemed to be true for several of our neighboring tables that arrived before us as well. For those partaking of their self-serve refillable coffee, it probably provides an opportunity to enjoy the beverage. Menu as a European Bistro is quite different compared to many other brunch options in the area. My wife selected the Vegano Bowl ($15.95) and substituted Roasted Potatoes ($2) for the standard mixed greens. She liked the bowl, although she prefers the options at Flower Child and Garden Table. She didn't love her potatoes. I ordered the Del Piero Toast ($13.95) and also substituted the mixed greens for the potatoes, which I enjoyed. Only thing I didn't really care for was the cutting board it was served on as it was not as user-friendly to eat from as I would have liked. However, I would order the toast again, although I am interested to investigate other menu options first.

My spouse had a short stack of pancakes, which she liked. The food also came out hot, which is so important for breakfast food. Kudos on that! I only gave four stars, however, because the shortage of staff on the Saturday noon we ate was evident and really degraded the whole experience. When we arrived there were dirty dishes stacked on every empty table in the restaurant. The employees did their best to be friendly but it was clear they were harassed, and the service was incredibly slow. I would estimate that it took about 25 minutes (maybe 30) from the time we ordered until we got our food. During that time we weren't offered a coffee refill until the food arrived, and the water we asked for didn't arrive until our food did. We didn't even see our waitress for about 20 minutes, and this isn't a big restaurant. I realize that every restaurant struggles to find enough employees in the current environment. Maybe we just need to eat out less and cook at home more. But it's hard when you're traveling, as we are. This restaurant has the food down, but the service is a problem, or at least it was today. I remember eating at LePeep in Castleton 30 years ago and it was fabulous. But you can't do it without workers.

I had the Espresso Martini which came with roasted coffee beans floating on top. My cocktail went down easy. I also had a glass of the Berringer Chardonnay. The pour is generous. We shared a plate of Loaded Tots, which was wonderful. The tots are made from scratch in-house and covered with roasted bits of pork belly, cheese, a sauce and green onions. We LOVED the tots, which came out super hot. We also shared a plate of the Loaded Hummus. The plate is beautiful and colorful. The hummus is fresh made and loaded with bits of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and is delicious on a balsamic reduction. The hummus is served with a generous portion of fresh in-house made focaccia bread which tasted amazing. The Loaded Hummus is a winner in my book. Bailey our server was fabulous. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were great for sharing, and the service made the experience even better. Since it was our first time visiting, our server Laura surprised us with a complimentary cinnamon roll, which was such a sweet gesture--and OMG, it was soooo good! It's made in-house and easily big enough for two people to share. The roll was soft and fluffy, and I especially loved that the icing wasn't overly sweet. Definitely recommend getting one for the table. We split the Breakfast Sandwich on a croissant with sausage and upgraded to the hash brown. The croissant was flaky and buttery, and the sandwich overall tasted really fresh and clean--not overly greasy or heavy. But that hash brown deserves its own shoutout. Super crispy and delicious! Definitely worth the upgrade. We also shared the Chia Seed Pudding Bowl, which was another winner. There was so much texture from the chia pudding, house granola and peanut butter, plus a generous amount of fresh fruit and berries. The strawberry preserves added just enough sweetness. It was the perfect lighter contrast to the savory breakfast sandwich. And finally, Laura was THE BEST! She was incredibly welcoming, checked on us frequently without ever being intrusive, and made our first visit feel extra special. 5/5 brunch experience. Welcoming atmosphere, clean and organized space, fresh food, great variety, an amazing cinnamon roll, and genuinely wonderful service. I honestly wouldn't have changed anything except maybe adding a little salt, but that may just be personal preference. I also enjoyed a cold brew while we sat out on the patio. The only downside was the construction noise from the large apartment buildings going up around the patio. That is obviously not the restaurant's fault, but it is something to be aware of if you're planning to sit outside right now. Overall, great food, kind service, and a really thoughtful birthday touch. We would definitely go back!
