Preventative maintenance - I wish I had known then what I know now. Bought my house in 2020 - saw mouse droppings here or there, left out traps, issue resolved, right? Wrong. Turns out, for the couple I did see, there were more that I didn't. The mice stayed in the basement, but 2024, they decided that the insulation in my oven was a good place to hang out. What I could have prevented turned into thousands of dollars of homeowner adulting. Steve Forbes was super amazing in helping us through the whole process, from bait traps to the encapsulation of the basement and attic. Alan and Greg were our technicians that worked the insulation portion of it - I couldn't ask for friendlier people! All of the technicians who have showed up have been super knowledgeable and amazing. We signed up for the termite service and the monthly on-call service. I can schedule a service within the week, no problem. The Camp Hill peeps have bent over backwards to help us through this whole ordeal. Steve, Alan, Greg, George, y'all are life savers. For those of you reading this - start your preventative maintenance before a seemingly small issue turns into a giant one. Trust me - call these guys!!! read more

This Is an update to my last review... sadly you cannot give "0" stars... This company has become a sad, pathetic, impotent joke! Let me make this simple... DO NOT USE THEM! On average it will cost you about $350 upfront to have someone show up who feels you are wasting their time, and $65 every month to have them ignore you, and drag their feet coming back to deal with the problem they ignored and did not treat! In the end you will try to cancel your service (GOOD LUCK, let me know how you did it!) you will end up educating yourself and going online to buy your own sprays, dusts, bait stations, IGR products and glue boards! HINT: if you are stuck with these useless clowns, try domyown.com they have professional pest education and products so at least you can start treating your issue yourself because Ehrlich will only give you a big "F - U". read more

Do not start an account with them. Impossible to cancel. Their "cancellation team" is apparently always extremely busy (gee, I wonder why). They claim they will call you back within 24 hrs but never do. Meanwhile they continue to autobill your account and nobody is apparently able to cancel it. Now I will have to go through my bank and label these auto payments as fraud and put a stop payment to them. read more

Have had them for about a year and a half. They give discount to veterans. Until today they had been good. Received an email invoice for services which they claimed happened today, but I checked my SimpliSafe doorbell camera and outside motion detection camera and they show no one came here from this company. Instaed, they emailed a picture of my house as "proof of service" which could have been taken anytime. Yet they charged my credit card for this non-service. Call them, talked to rep, was told they would send someone else out, they didn't; said a manager would call me, they didn't. Guess I'll file a complaint with the State Attorney and BBB. read more

The last time I used their service it cost me $300 (which consisted of a technician moving my stove, finding a hole, and then dropping bait into the hole). He came back a week later and put more bait in the same spot. The end. I was told prior to the 1st visit, that the technician would survey the entire house for entry points and use different things like mesh to block or deter them from coming in. (That didn't happen). I ask the technician and he said that's not his job and it's a liability for him to do that! 3 months later the problem still exist and I started looking for places to call. Then I started thinking $300 has to include something else because I was told I would be enrolled I some program... well anyway I couldn't find a number, I don't even think they gave me any paperwork the first time. I couldn't find any price points on their site, no brochure, I had to call a number (who was basically a contracted operator) to request a service, I was told someone would call me back...the next day I was contacted by another operator or phone service that asked me the same questions and was EXTREMELY RUDE (basically didn't know anything about the company or the service and was annoyed that I was asking her questions) before transferring me to a local sales center. When I started asking about the previous $300 service and what it included, I got a bunch of different stories from the sales center. I ask for something in writing that I can read and I was told that he would email it. I never got the email! Buyer Beware!! read more

Not impressed. Website says, "call us for a free home inspection!" called the local Linglestown office for someone to come inspect my new home and was repeatedly told I could be advised over the phone. When I persisted that I wanted an inspector out, I was transferred to a national call center. 15 minutes later, I was forced to have the inspector scheduled from 8AM-12PM. I advised I needed the appointment during lunch, and it was 'noted'. On the day of the appointment (today) the inspector showed up at my house at 8:20AM. He said he "never knew he was supposed to come at 11." When I asked if he could come back at 11, he said he would "try" but had a 10:30 appointment. When I told him to cancel the whole thing, he said he could come at 11. Save yourself the headache and call someone else!! read more

I had a previous experience last year with Orkin. You may read that if your interested on the Harrisburg Orkin branch. So I was not going with Orkin again and I had used Ehrlich in the past and was satisfied. For the life of me, I can't remember why I didn't call them again. Maybe they were pricier. Well like my momma used to say..."You get what you pay for". Last year I had a problem with carpenter ants and solved the problem myself by baiting, which Orkin didn't want to do. This year I started out very early baiting in March. I used 2 different kinds of baits, a sweet and a protein. I didn't see any ants outside (unusual and very pleasant) and very, very few inside. I thought my problem was completely solved. I was very happy. Then the first 80 degree day I went into the sunroom and there were winged male swarmers covering the windows and huge winged queen carpenter ants running around the floors. I totally freaked out. OMG. This is disgusting. They are breeding in my house! So I called Ehrlich. They, of course, tried to sell me the monthly service plan, but after the fiasco with Orkin , I said "no way. Just treat the ants". So Steve came out. What a great guy. He did the most thorough check I've ever seen. He was on the ladder pulling insulation down. Dusting everything he could and searching everywhere. It wasn't a great day to look for them because it was overcast and going to rain. They weren't even out that day. So after an hour and a half he said he was done, however he wasn't happy. He said he didn't find the nest and couldn't find any damp wood or anywhere where it looked like they really were. He said if he had actually hit the nest in the house they would have swarmed out and they didn't He even went into the nasty crawl space to the roof in a closet upstairs. God bless him. I wouldn't poke my head up there. So he was going to come out the next week to check again to see how things were going. And to bait outside, because it was going to rain that day and he wanted a dry day to bait. He also pointed out the firewood that was very close to the house and said it really needed to be moved at least 8 feet from the house and it was quite possible that there were nests in there. He also told me if the wood was there more than 2 or 3 years that he wouldn't bring it into the house unless I was immediately going to burn it because it was probably infested with all kinds of nasty little critters. I appreciated the advice and all the wood has been moved. He sprayed and dusted in between the wood as well. We also discussed baiting and he said that "Yes, we bait. It works well." Turns out they use the Advance Carpenter Ant Bait that I had bought off of Amazon as well. A couple day later on a hot sunny day I went into the sunroom and I had another swarm of males and several large, winged queens. I just kept looking and looking and noticed movement on the ceiling. I have several huge hollow beams up there that are stained a very dark brown. I noticed the movement because I saw something on the white ceiling. Sure enough, there was a load of carpenter ants going in and out of the beam and several large females were up there too. I called Ehrlich and told them I was freaking out a bit because there were so many and they sent someone out that night. It was a different fellow, I believe his name was "Jeff" but he was just a nice and just as thorough and pleasant. I swear these guys love their jobs. I don't know if I'd be so pleasant being sent out at 8 o'clock at night. He took the whole thing with good humor. He dusted the beam and we got a bunch of ants falling off and dying. He also spent quite a bit of time outside following ants around with his flashlight and dusting even more outside and putting bait down the cracks of my deck. Hopefully this will solve the problem once and for all, and I am sure if it doesn't they will work with me till it is resolved. Even though it was late, he didn't rush the visit at all. He took his time and did it correctly. And I did decide to get the year round treatment. I also asked what they put in their mouse baits and if it was a solid that the mouse can't drag around, and yes it is. And they don't get secondary poisoning from it either. So if a cat or snake eats a poisoned mouse, it won't die. All in all I was very satisfied with their professionalism, sense of humor, thoroughness and the methods employed to do the job. I also discussed the treatment of bed bugs with them because I have a crazy paranoid fear of them. They use the heat treatment method and that is the way to go. Trust me. I've researched this more than any normal person would. So I believe I'm set as far as pest problems. Like mom said, "You get what you pay for." read more

I have been an Ehrlich customer for twelve years and have been generally pleased with their service. I purchase an annual home care contract that includes periodic, seasonal preventative treatment as well as emergency service. I have never had a problem until recently. Noticing a growing infestation of ants in my kitchen on a Saturday morning, I waited until the following Monday to call for service. After being on hold for nearly ten minutes, I was told that a technician could come on Wednesday between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. (A four hour window). On Tuesday, a medical situation arose and I needed to see a doctor late morning on Wednesday. I immediately called Ehrlich to reschedule and after another lengthy wait on hold, agreed to a window of 8 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday. When the technician did not arrive by 10 a.m., I called again and, unable to hold for ten minutes, left a message that I needed to leave, that the technician had not arrived, and that would call later to reschedule. When I did so later that day -- on hold again -- I was back to square one on scheduling and was now given a four hour window on Friday morning. What is the point of paying for contracted emergency service when it takes five days for the service to happen? read more

I have been using Ehrlich Pest Control for 4 years. Our property has a natural spring that runs down to a lake about 100 yards away. Needless to say that we are in a hot zone for insects and little critters. We have an annual contract with regular visits in different seasons along with the ability to schedule additional visits at any time. We have never had an issue since Ehrlich has been coming to our home. The service technicians are always very professional and friendly. They call before they arrive and wear shoe covers to keep our house clean. I recommend Ehrlich to my family and friends. read more

People stay away from this place. This was hands down the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I am a professional and this is my first time submitting a bad google review, as I do not believe in blasting people or ruining people publicly. But this place, has earned their spot! If you are as unfortunate to have an issue arise with your service, be advised that this company will NOT take care of you what so ever! I had 2 separate accounts with this place, was a loyal customer for 2 years. I had an issue with the mosquito service not working and I left NUMEROUS very detailed messages with NUMEROUS people about my concerns. Do you think anyone called me back? NO! I called for days, until I finally had enough and had to resort to speaking with the operations manager. It was nice to finally be able to speak to someone regarding my concerns, but never less he dropped the ball as well. This company has EPICALLY failed! I closed both accounts, and requested a refund for the services not rendered. Was ASSURED that I would get a refund. A month later, I am still waiting on that refund check! I am told that although my call for a refund was on the 12th of the month, that the company only writes out refund checks once a month and the deadline was on the 13th, so now I have to wait until next month! THIS IS NOT HOW YOU DO BUSINESS PEOPLE! WAKE UP! The only person that I can say actually knows his job very well and delivers every thing he says he will is our bug guy Gregg!
