The first available time suggested didn't work with our schedule so I asked about a day two days after that and she said she couldn't look that far out so a supervisor would call me back that afternoon. But nobody did. I waited over 24 hours to call them back and there were no apologizes for not calling. I was given another day that was even earlier than the first date she suggested. We scheduled it but the morning of the appointment she called and said they had to reschedule because one of the techs had called off. That happens so we rescheduled it for a little over a week later. Nobody called the night before to confirm, which should have been my first clue, but nobody came during our two hour window. I called 45 minutes after the given window and nobody answered. I called about 5 separate times that day including leaving 1 voicemail to call me back. It's been over a week and I've called on two separate days and nobody has answer nor have they returned my call. I've even looked them up to make sure they're still in business. Fox Pest Control - A Disappointing Experience…read more While my interaction with the Fox Pest Control technicians was pleasant, the overall experience left much to be desired, primarily due to the poor value and aggressive upselling practices. This review reflects my attempt to find effective pest control that respects both my time and my budget. The most positive part of the service was the staff. The technicians were consistently polite, friendly, and professional during their visits. They arrived within the scheduled windows and conducted their work efficiently. However, the major issues revolve around the poor value for the money received. The cost of the contracted services felt disproportionately high compared to the pest issues addressed, and the results were not effective enough to justify the premium price tag. Furthermore, there was a noticeable tendency to up-sell additional services. For example, they wanted an additional $700 (and an additional +$30 every three months) to treat termites outdoors. For $50 and an hour of my time I took care of it myself. This is particularly irksome since I am paying a company to eliminate my pest problems. I first contacted them to remove a wasp next in a tree. They said it was cheaper to sign up for the year long service so I did. It turned out the nest was already dead when removed. Then I am on the hook for a year. Later in the summer, they came out and I explained I was having problems with wasps they spray two wasp nests. I had six other small nests I took care of myself a few days latter. After eight months of service for little on my investment I call to cancel service to discover there is a $250 cancellation fee. When all is said and done I will be out some $800 and taken care of most of my own issues anyway. In summary, Fox Pest Control has polite staff, but the combination of high costs, limited efficacy, and upselling efforts resulted in a poor perceived value. I cannot recommend this service based on my experience and the expectation of transparent, cost-effective pest management.
