One day later, I checked and only a few lost wasps came and left once they realized they were homeless, just as he said would happen. Andy provided some good information and answered all my questions. If I ever need pest control inside my home, I know who I will call for help. Thanks Andy!

The first available time suggested didn't work with our schedule so I asked about a day two days after that and she said she couldn't look that far out so a supervisor would call me back that afternoon. But nobody did. I waited over 24 hours to call them back and there were no apologizes for not calling. I was given another day that was even earlier than the first date she suggested. We scheduled it but the morning of the appointment she called and said they had to reschedule because one of the techs had called off. That happens so we rescheduled it for a little over a week later. Nobody called the night before to confirm, which should have been my first clue, but nobody came during our two hour window. I called 45 minutes after the given window and nobody answered. I called about 5 separate times that day including leaving 1 voicemail to call me back. It's been over a week and I've called on two separate days and nobody has answer nor have they returned my call. I've even looked them up to make sure they're still in business. Will never go back again.

Just to start treatment was more than $1,000. Perry Pest Control came out two days later, after I'd discovered fleas on our dog. As soon as I saw the rep, I said we must have flea treatment in addition to everything else. But as Terry went through our house, he carefully checked for pests. First he determined the termite and carpenter damage was old. Then he showed us marks on our pavement where our house had been treated for termites before we bought it. Hmmmm. He gave us the straight story on rat eradication and said we should wait and see if the problem isn't helped by my effort to close some holes in our fence. I still wanted the flea treatment. Terry asked about how our vet treated our dog for the fleas. When I told him, he said that medication would take care of the flea problem, and if it doesn't, we can call them back. Perry Pest Control showed up on time, didn't lie to us, and actually SAVED US MONEY. And I should add that the dog appears to be flea free, as is the house, I've not seen the rat again, and we don't have active carpenter ants or termites after all. Perry Pest Control could have made a fortune by scaring us and lying. They didn't make a dime...yet. We will DEFINITELY call them again when we have a problem. Fantastic service without the snow job. Absolutely recommend.

We had an invasion of bird mites in our third story bedroom. To eradicate the problem, the birds' nests needed to be removed from the exterior crevices they were hidden in. Our pest control company told us about S&S. Rick spotted the nests. He used a 40-ft ladder to reach them, and found all sorts of nest material from previous years! After cleaning out the crevices, he made beautiful repairs and sealed the area from other birds. Noticing other vulnerable spots at the front and side of the house's third floor, he sealed those too. The job total even came in lower than his original estimate. We are so pleased!

Overall, a great experience. The work was explained well, and executed professionally. I would definitely recommend and rehire. A groundhog dug a 12" hole on the side of my home and that is what led me to call Critter Control of Carlisle. During the initial visit it was explained to me that most likely the groundhog was using my bottom deck as a pass-through and then looking for a better hiding place... and he decided to dig a hole. The hole was not used by the groundhog! I asked about preventative measures to seal off the deck so that I would not have any more critters. It was explained to me that the best way to handle my situation was to have "no dig fencing" installed around the perimeter of the deck. I agreed to the price given and the scope of work. Today, August 22nd, there was a groundhog in the trap and Nate installed the "no dig fencing" leaving one trap attached to the deck to see if any other groundhogs are under the deck. Tuesday the trap will be taken away and fencing will be placed in that open area. Without a doubt call Critter Control of Carlisle! (717) 810-6922
