This is the best place to go for breakfast and the service is absolutely phenomenal! I am obsessed with their crepes - they're perfectly thin and cooked. They come with a filling on the inside (it's hard to pick a fave but the Nutella is up there!) and fruit on top. It's addictive! They are always so warm and lovely in there and always remember their return customers! It's impeccable service and a family-owned business. I found the location with ease in a small strip. I was promptly greeted. I was informed I can grab a seat then order at the front, pay, and the food will be brought to me. So if you're the type that likes to tip after you have eaten, bring cash for that. Everyone checks in on you. The place holds less than 40 ppl. I found a 2 top, and I had to go get my jacket from the car because the air was on. I assume to prevent the place from getting hot cause the kitchen was busy! I went to order and I was offered water. I ordered the nutella crepes with a side of turkey sausage. When I sat down I was given a little basket of fried crispy dough with powdered sugar. I tried one and it was ok. My food came out quickly. I was offered ketchup or hot sauce. I thought that was odd for what I ordered but I noticed everyone was asked that. My crepes looked just like a previous yelp post. I could the turkey sausage patties were the frozen kind, but I can apprieate that they were hot from the grill and I got 3 for my side. All was delicious. The manager came by and asked how my food was. That was nice. I see a pro and con to paying ahead. Pro: it helps the flow of the dining room where servers are not bothered with checks. Especially since all drinks are self serve too except coffee and juice. Con: a lot of ppl are standing by the door waiting to order and if you're walking in, you may think it's a crowd or get confused as to what to do. Never thought a great breakfast spot would be out on Nolenvilles Pike. The place was packed. Line out the door. We ordered and waited to be sat. The service was great. No matter how packed it was the hostess remembered the order of who came in. I had the American breakfast with pancakes. That was a great meal all around. Pancakes were light a fluffy. The food is great, one of the better places to eat. However, their whole order then sit system, just doesn't work . You spend a half hour waiting in line while there is all these empty tables. I watch pregnant people and handicapped people having to wait in line while this horrible system is implemented. Ordered Burger with mushroom, swiss cheese and caramelized onions, potato kale soup, and Hash Brown casserole with sausage. From afar the burger looked small but when it was placed in front of me I saw the thickness of the meat and the overflowing cheese. Wow! I loved it. The soup was just ok for my taste and for the hash brown, I probably would have enjoyed it more if the bottom were crispier. Service was ok; customer service? Probably a bit more of it would be nice. Had a decent breakfast at Eggstravaganza. I arrived at 7:15am and there was only 1 other customer there. I ordered at the counter and seated myself at a seat close to the kitchen. My omelette came out very quickly and it was much better than the omelette I tried at First Watch. The breakfast potatoes were okay but I prefer mine grilled. They brought me a few Angel Wings to try. I expected them to be hot out of the fryer. But, they were room temperature and probably made a day or two before. Not really my thing but I appreciated the thought. I also appreciated that they brought a coffee pot to the table so I didn't have to ask for refills. We were staying in south Nashville & decided to come further south here for Saturday brunch! This is a great little place! It was a bit confusing bc we've never been here before but you stand in line to order at the counter then you wait to be seated at a table & they bring the food out to you. The food was outstanding! I was expecting it to be a bit more bitter after googling Cuban coffee but it was smooth and delish! For breakfast we ordered the shakshuka eggs and the pork Benedict. The shakshuka flavor was sooooooo good. I wanna bathe in the sauce. The pork Benedict was good too but we need a little extra hollandaise. This is a small footprint breakfast cafe that serves up delicious food. The recipes have twists to them for traditional breakfast items that sets them well above chain restaurants. Love the omelette with Serrano peppers instead of more traditional Jalapeño being used. The skillet is amazing especially with the spicy pork belly. The Waffles and Pancakes both have a buttery sweet flavor. Bacon is cooked perfectly Lots of home made items (free appetizer of crapes, muffins, jelly and more). The service was very good. We brought 4 grandkids (7 & under) and within 5 minutes of sitting down one of them spilled an entire glass of water on the table. The servers immediately jumped on it and cleaned up the mess and did so with a good attitude. They use a system of ordering at the front desk and you can see how this streamlined the process of getting orders to the kitchen timely and in order. It is a small nuisance to have to get up from the table and order additional items and pay for them separately, but this process is done well. I would have nicked the rating down from 5-star for not being able to stay relaxed at the table and order from a server, but everything else was exceptional. This is a small restaurant. We had a party of 8 and we're very lucky any party reserved the table and didn't show up. It is wise to call the day before and reserve for bigger parties. Most of the seating is for 2-4 people. There is seating outside on the sidewalk (maybe 5 tables)I. Suggestion to Restaurant: add coloring opportunities for kids while they wait for food. Because the kids were complaining of hunger we had to order for them 1st and then after they got their food the adults ordered in a 2nd round. Adequately spaced for staying distant from other groups during COVID. You order at the counter up front then grab any open table. I'm not a huge traditional breakfast fan so I loved how many 'lunchy' options they had on the menu. I ordered the BLT with fried green tomatoes. My friend got an omelette and a side of hash browns and her son got some chocolate chip pancakes. When you sit down they bring every table a basket of house made beignets. We devoured them. Service was quick and kind. I hear the eggs were good (I hate eggs so I'll take her word for it). Pancakes were fluffy and scrumptious. Fried green tomato BLT was legit! Came on bread made locally and a spicy aioli. Great crunch on the tomatoes, good bite from the sauce, bacon perfectly cooked and the lettuce was fresh and not wilted. One of the best I've had! Seems like it's owned or operated by Polish couple and they definitely integrated some European flare to southern comfort food.
