Had breakfast here on a recent trip to Nashville. What a great find! A small strip center restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating (4-5 tables). Had to wait in line a few minutes (usually a good sign) to order at the counter. We took our number to our table to wait on the food. We tried the complimentary angel wings (fried dough with powered sugar) but didn't really care for them. We ordered the American breakfast with cheesy grits, bacon and waffle. Very tasty! Our friend had the avocado toast and loved it. We were all happy with the meal. The restaurant had lots of character and offered free wifi. We would definitely return and recommend. read more

I'm a little confused about all of the rave reviews. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. However, how can you go wrong with French toast? I will say that the food simply lacked flavor... it was eye appealing but it looked better than it tasted. The angel wings were simply fried dough with some powdered sugar. The syrup was not at all sweet. The chicken tenders were pretty good and the bacon was nice and crisp. I did not like the long wait in line only to wait and see if I could sit down or not. The lady at the counter was extremely nice as were the servers. It's a nice quaint place if you're already in the Lenox Village area, but not necessarily good enough to make a 20 minute one-way trip like we did. I could have easily gone to Cracker Barrel for half the price and been more satisfied except for the coffee. The caramel latte was wonderful! read more

I've had this place on my list to try for some time now. It's fast casual style-- you order first and then you're seated based on table availability. Know what you want before you get there because the line moves pretty fast. After we ordered (party of 2) we were seated immediately so that was a plus. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out. I had the omelette and potatoes and my bf had the same plus an orange juice. The portions were sufficient and the food was tasty. This place offers a wide selection of standard breakfast/brunch food, but one thing that I haven't heard of in other places is the Angel Wings. Reading the reviews that they give complimentary Angel Wings while you wait for food, I went with a more Southern-like breakfast, the waffles with non spicy fried chicken. At first glance, chicken looks dry but it is actually quite juicy, and it is just lightly fried so it is not too oily. It's served with a large sauce cup of ranch, and they give maple syrup on the side for you to add. Waffles are just standard. The dish itself is quite hearty but it's not overbearingly filling. Good value for the amount of food you get. The Angel Wings are quite decent, though in my opinion it'd be even better if it's more buttery. It still is good, with powdered sugar sprinkled on top which makes the overall pastry sweet but not extremely sweet. We found this restaurant on Yelp. The Shakshuka intrigued us as we had had enjoyed similar dishes in Hawaii and Phoenix, under different appellations. This obviously popular eatery, had a line of 4-5 groups when we arrived midday Friday. We have some strict dietary rules. The, woman who was at the desk to take our order (later we learned a partner/owner), was patient and took the time to consult with the cook regarding ingredients. Her friendly consideration with our concerns was heartwarming. The Shakshuka was eggsceptional. Prepared to my wife's preference, eggs poached hard, piping hot and delicious. We shared this dish, i also had a biscuit, I love biscuits and this one was wonderful. Everyone must try the bavarian cream croissant, which was outstanding. The coffee hot, with a pot for our table, and delicious. It was so wonderful that we are taking our grandchildren there this morning. It is worth the 13 mile 25 minute drive. If you are ever near Antioch TN, try this locally owned and family run, family friendly dining spot. Truly eggstravaganza but not extravagant, prices reasonable beyond belief. read more

At 8 am on a Friday, it wasn't too crowded inside or out and I was able to snag an awesome table outside for myself. You order inside and they bring your food to you. While you are waiting for your food, you get their version of beignets, some lovely angel wings, which I really enjoyed. I got the a special - the Bavarian cream croissant (smaller than I thought it would be but ended up being my favorite item), a skillet (potatoes, veggies, egg over easy, cheese) and a side of fried green tomatoes. The food came super quickly and was hot and super tasty. Incredible service from the waitress who seemed to be taking care of all the tables, though I will note neither she nor the woman working the register were wearing masks (and the inside is small.) Overall a great experience and would definitely go again to eat outside with a friend or for takeout (the size of this place isn't ideal for larger groups.) read more

Meeting a local friend here, I asked her what was good, and she laughed and said "EVERYTHING!" I ordered a raspberry ice tea, which to my amazement was fresh raspberry puree in the bottom of a glass and then I had the opportunity to put sweet tea, ice tea, or lemonade in the glass. I also ordered a classic egg Benedict with their crispy potatoes. The egg was very slightly overcooked but was still a bit runny. The Hollandaise sauce was tasty, and the potatoes were amazing.
