Eggstravaganza Cafe is a frequent favorite for a reason. You really can't go wrong with anything on their massive menu! The Highlights: * Breakfast Burgers: I love that they serve these early--they are juicy, flavorful, and a great savory start to the day. * Chicken & Waffles: Always a solid choice; the chicken is perfectly crispy every time. * The Drinks: Their lattes are top-tier, and I really appreciate the complimentary water and tea--it's such a welcoming touch. Whether you want a sweet waffle or a hearty burger, the quality and service here are consistently great. Highly recommend!

So good! We arrived early so not much of a wait. I had the shashuka- so good. Nutella crepes, angel wings, very good coffee. When we were leaving there was a long line out the door.

Food was good! Service was great even during their busy brunch hours. It was my first time there; I would go back again and try something different.

Very cute cafe! You order at the register and seat yourself. There is not a ton of seating so I can imagine that during busy periods you may have to wait on a table opening up or take it to go. Moderate pricing, good food, ample parking outside and some other shops you can visit in the strip after you eat.

Delicious food and quick service. You order at the front and pay and then they give you a number and you take a seat. I had a DIY omelette and the loaded hashbrowns. Originally the wrong order was delivered to me so I did have to wait until my party finished their meal before my corrected meal arrived. That's the only downside to what happened, but it was most likely a one off situation for them on a busy morning. My omelette was good, but those loaded hashbrowns are my new obsession! I recommend you get that or the fried green tomatoes every time you visit.

Amazing food! Pretty crowded on a Sunday for lunch but totally worth the wait. Ordered the Cuban sandwich which was delicious! So much meat and cheese topped with pickles and a slightly spicy Dijon mustard. So much flavor! The side of hash browns was just alright. Lavender vanilla latte was amazing! Perfect sweetness and flavor!

Popped into Eggstravaganza Cafe on a Sunday around 11:30 and probably won't be back. The place was packed (which is usually a great sign), but it was so crowded you could hardly move in your chair without bumping into a stranger next to you. The food came out pretty quick but it tasted like it'd been sitting in warmer pans for a bit, the hash browns were definitely dug from the bottom/edges of a pan, they were served with crispy edges and lukewarm. The sausages were also underwhelming. I had a Lavendar latte as well, and while the texture was spot on, the coffee itself was lacking flavor. Unfortunately, this isn't a place that I'd be quick to try again.

Excellent food and service! My husband and I went there for brunch. It was great. We will definitely be returning. Just get there early because they get crowded very quickly.

It was starting to get busy when we arrived. We were greeted when we walked in. They have menus to view at the door while uou wait in line. You order your food then sit down. They'll bring your food out to you. We got there at the perfect time as the line was longer and longer. By the time we left, there was a line around the building. I loved this for them. There was a lady making sure we all had a table. She seemed to really enjoy her job which made the experience even better. The food came out hot and fresh. They serve complimentary angel wings. Its similar to a croissant or Danish with powdered sugar. I ordered a side of pancakes, fried green tomatoes, and grits. The pancakes were amazing. The tomatoes were seasoned to perfection. The grits were too soupy for my liking and the lemonade was very tart. After adding a few packs of sugar, I was able to drink it. Overall, we had a good experience and everyone left full. I'd definitely try it again.

The food is hot, fresh and fast, not to mention delicious! Love the pierogis, biscuits, skillets, the "angel wings" served complimentary. So good!!

(American breakfast from the menu) 2 eggs scrambled, bacon, hash browns, & waffles.

Literally such an amazing place. Owners are so amazing & sweet. I believe her name is Adita or Edyta. (I'm not sure which one). Food was so good and worth the price. & Inside of restaurant was so cute and Fall themed! you can even pick where you sit & eat! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)

Such a great brunch place! We had the gluten-free pancakes - they were excellent! A rib and sandwich with the side of potato casserole. The bacon pierogies were the best we've ever had!

Does this place have Turkey bacon or Turkey sausage?

What time does this place get super busy on a Saturday morning? Trying to figure out how early we should visit. TIA.

When i went there it was about 7:30 when it started to fill up. I got there around 7 and got a table right away, but after that.. it got crowded.

It feels historic in the best way, like it's lived a few lives (old house shoe repair shop now a coffee spot that somehow makes you want to slow down and stay awhile). We didn't try any food this time, but based on the long line of people happily waiting for it, I'm taking that as a strong sign. The coffee, though? Legit. You can tell the beans are fresh, smooth, clean, and more "grown-up, sophisticated coffee flavor" than sugary coffee dessert. We ordered an iced caramel latte and an espresso martini (hold the cream) and both were excellent. The latte was balanced and smooth, and the espresso actually came through (not hidden under caramel). The espresso martini was the surprise star: they add an orange liqueur that gives it a little citrus lift, which makes it taste brighter and more interesting than the standard version. Naturally, we left with a bag of their espresso beans because now we're convinced we can recreate that martini at home. Will it be as good as Frothy Monkey's? Probably not. But we're going to try... you know, for science. If you like places with personality, history, and coffee that tastes like someone actually cares, this one's top of the list.

I enjoyed my coffees each day and loved the seasonal offerings they had as well! My daughter tried the chorizo biscuits and gravy one morning too and said they were very good! All in all, a cute location, great service, yummy food and drinks!

The only thing I'll note is that it has very limited seating and parking was not the best. Parking was kind of typical for the area, but there are maybe 8-10 spots and basically no standing/waiting area. Despite that, it's got some interesting spots right next door (I think one was a library/bookstore). I could see it being a little afternoon adventure.

Yellow Table has been open for just over a year in the Eastwood Village complex that seemingly overnight brought us a coworking space, cute plant shop, wine bar, book shop, etc, and Yellow Table really rounds it out as the lone spot in this area for breakfast, coffee, or lunch. The vibe is cozy neighborhood cafe, and the service is always welcoming and incredibly personable (I almost always see the owner herself serving up food to customers with a smile!) The food is what truly stands out to me about this spot. I fell in love with buckwheat crepes on a trip to France a few years ago but there are few places in Nashville serving decent crepes, let alone buckwheat ones. Yellow Table offers sweet and savory crepe options, all cooked perfectly lightly crispy and fresh with that incredible nutty buckwheat flavor, exactly how it should be done. My favorites have been the savory crepes, particularly the build your own with prosciutto, leek, spinach, and cheddar - a filling, tasty, and decently healthy option for $15. There's also coffee and tea, pastries, salads, soups (with bread from the amazing wine bar next door), and rotating specials each day. There's limited seating: a few two or three person tables and one shared table inside; in warmer months there are also a few small tables outside. But the WiFi is decent and I see a lot of folks coming here to do a bit of work while grabbing a bite. In just a year Yellow Table Cafe has already made itself an indelible East Nashville neighborhood gem. With the tastiest crepes to grace the Nashville dining scene, chill vibes, warm service, and reasonable prices, here's to hoping for many more wonderful years serving the community for this spot!

This time we made a reservation and ordered some hot food as well as pastries. We tried a few items: - various pastries including a pettanko croissant, cinnamon roll, almond miso bun, and matcha danish. Favorites were pettanko croissant and matcha danish. - bonito fries which are delicious - kabocha salad - this was my first introduction to japanese pumpkin and i loved it. We ordered three different matcha drinks: the hojicha matcha latte, hokkaido matcha latte, and okinawan matcha latte. The hokkaido matcha latte had a stronger green matcha taste, but I personally wished it had a little more sweetness. The okinawan matcha latte was just okay for me, also not very sweet. The Japanese cheesecake was definitely the standout. Super soft, fluffy, and delicious -- highly recommend ordering it. The cafe itself has plenty of space, including outdoor seating areas with lots of tables, which made it a nice place to relax and hang out. There's paid parking nearby, so keep that in mind if you're driving. Overall, a cute spot for matcha lovers and worth trying if you're in the area!
