Love going here when I want something nicer than Waffle House. It's a little bit pricey but worth it. Their caramel macchiato is full or sugar, just the way I like it haha. And I love their steak and eggs. Service is always great and the inside is cute. The kids like going here for their bubble waffles! read more

Ok so this place reminds me of a tex Mex waffle house. The service is fast and and food comes out hot and fresh. I been here a couple times now for brunch and both my meals has been good. I like that they have a variety of food to choose from. It does get pretty busy here but it's usually not a long wait. read more

The Waffle Taco - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Antioch, Tennessee

I am writing this after the fact, I kept trying to eat here for a long time and finally was able to one weekend morning. I live nearby so I naturally wanted to try this when I first came across it. The building looks like it used to be a Waffle House. I wasn't in this area back when this building was what it once was, but I digress. They had a vast menu. I wanted to try the bubble waffle options, I didn't end up getting that though. I got the huevos rancheros. That came on a regular waffle. I also got a regular coffee. I loved the branded coffee cup and I also love their little cute cartoon characters. The food was good, I do want to return and try the bubble waffles. A lot of their offerings are of the standard American sweet dessert type dishes. I also noticed they had burgers and sandwiches for brunch options. I will return. read more

My sister and I had breakfast from here and let me just tell you it was amazing, the service was great the ladies are nice in there!

We were greeted when we walked in. It was clean. They had a few vegetarian options to choose from. I ordered the bowl and they initially put eggs on it. She remade it without a problem. It was very hot and fresh. read more

Everything was hot when the brought it out, and the portion sizes were big. Sara was excellent, very attentive and very kind. We I'll for sure be back! Thank you Waffle Taco! read more

First time here. Looked at reviews and it did not disappoint! Food, service, ambiance everything was great! Would definitely go again!

This is a cute little shop with a menu featuring American and Hispanic breakfast and lunch food. It was pretty busy when we went in but our server was kind and attentive. The food came out a bit intermittently, but it was fun for the kids. read more

The food was amazing, prepared fresh and to order. Service was very pleasant and helpful with navigating the menu. It was not very crowded, but that was probably because it is more of a brunch spot and it was dinner time on a Saturday night. The food was delicious and I highly recommend it! read more

I decided to try this place when I just happened to be driving by. Such a fun and hidden gem of a spot! The food and service were good and the prices were fair as well. I got brunch and thought it was pretty good, so I'll have to go back for a lunch or dinner sometime. read more

4.5 stars! Buenos dias y'all! The Waffle Taco is a cozy, local restaurant featuring a fusion of Mexican and Southern dishes! I loved all the little charming touches here from the mascots (a smiling waffle and a grinning taco hand-in-hand) to the fun facts about waffles/tacos posted throughout the dining room. And what better dish to order than the signature Morning Waffle Taco? This was a bubble waffle topped with a scramble of eggs, turkey sausage, hash browns, onions, tomatoes, melted cheese, all topped with slices of avocado. The best parts of this dish were the chewy, crispy bubble waffle underneath as well as the two salsas that came on the side: a creamy bacon chipotle and a tomatillo salsa verde, which both added great flavor to every bite. What a cool concept for a twist on a typical breakfast restaurant! read more

My husband, myself and my 3 year old pulled in on yesterday morning just trying something different. We used to live in the area and since moved it's always fun to come back and see what's changed and what's been added. I googled this place and was cool a Hispanic version of like Waffle House. Let's give it a try.... Besides a soda being $5 and it's only $2.48 at the gas station right next door I knew it was something in the mix. The latte was $6.25 which I mean come now it's not Starbucks but ok I'll let you have that. Looking at the menu nothing was appealing but it's try something new. I got the chicken soup because it was like $9 and the kids meal for breakfast was $10 and my husband got egg tacos which was like $15. So we running up a check real quick. Needless to say we will never be back nor recommend anyone, no tip was left and I hate that I put the ticket on my card. $60 for a horrible breakfast. Egg tacos was scrabbled eggs, turkey sausage links cut up and cheese and a big slice of unripe avocado. No salsa no pico, no chorizo, nothing to give that nasty overpriced breakfast taco any flavor or anything to write home about. My soup. Sweet baby Jesus. The broth was absolutely out of the can/carton or whatever cuz the chicken in the soup didn't have any flavor, the potatoes tasted nothing like the broth and the carrots was the biggest thing in the bowl. Served with tortilla strips like Chinese egg drop soup. I'm really missing the Hispanic in any of the food. Then my 3 years old $10 ,1 pancake 2 strips of pork bacon and one scrabbled eggs. Food was not prepared together so the eggs were cold and the pancake was fried in butter and so thin. Child that pancake had a front and back and they both looked different. I talked about this place all day for the rest of my adventure. $60 ticket for two adults and one child for breakfast. I understand inflation but dang and yall Antioch Nashville people really just throwing away money on this place. I love to see people dreams come thru and for everyone to succeed but this will be a hard no for me. One person on my travels says it's better in the summer time cuz you get to sit outside and the menu after breakfast is way better. That a be a no. read more

Food is ridiculously good! Just brought a group of friends who just moved to town. And we all absolutely loved everything we got.

Service was amazing!! I came in on the 1st of January with my cousins are we enjoyed the food and vibe of the place. There was only one server for the whole restaurant. Despite it being jammed packed he had amazing attitude and kept a smile on everyone's face with his can do attitude. THIS MAN DESERVES A RAISE ASAP!!!! He was literally running back and forth to each table to give only the best experience to his 10+ tables !!! It was my first time dining in this restaurant but if I'm ever back in TN I will for sure come in again and ask for him !!!! read more

The food was great. They have a drink but I can't remember the name but it was definitely good.

Everything I had was well prepared. Flavorful chimichangas, great tasting authentic tacos. Didn't disappoint! They also have a kids eat free day which is awesome. Service was 10/10. It is a little small on the inside, however ambiance had a great feel and large windows make it feel spacious. read more

I must say, this meal was such a pleasant surprise! Omg; I have passed this place for the past two years of living here and not once stopping, and finally my curiosity got the best of me. This is a true hidden gem! The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The food was beyond amazing. A little more seasoning and I would have given it a 5! Also the sunlight early in the morning is bad at every table. Other than that, I will now become a regular here. Great menu options and the "Waffle Taco" is so worth a trip! read more

Excellent and attentive service! The inside is super cute, and there's some outdoor seating too. We had a group of 5 and everything we ordered was great. I personally loved the morning waffle taco, it was a ton of food. I also got a caramel macchiato with whipped cream and sprinkles which was fun! Others in the group enjoyed their barbacoa chilaquiles, the Mexican sunrise, huevos rancheros, and the most beautiful eggs (sunny-side up and over medium were both cooked perfectly). read more

Cute little breakfast spot we stumbled upon while staying in Smyrna. The egg tacos were very good. Sometimes you never know how good the turkey sausage is going to be but this turkey sausage was delicious! Super filling! My husband had the breakfast waffle and he loved it but he was a little disappointed because he thought it came with the bubble waffle. This was a user error, though, so, when we come back, we will have to get the bubble waffle! read more

I was here around 12:30 p.m. on a Saturday. There were 2 tables who already had their food. I was greeted and informed that it was open seating. Twice in 10 minutes I was told that someone would be with me shortly. There was 1 male server for all the tables. He came to take my order eventually. I put in my drink and food order at the same time. He wasn't in the mood to wait on me, I think. To be fair... he was only this way with me. He was pretty cordial, friendly even, with every other table who came in after me. The food was good though. The bubble waffle batter isn't sweet. The turkey sausage is sausage links. Both sauces that came with it were so good. I might come back, but it would definitely be for takeout. Their takeout counter stayed pretty full with a constant rotation of orders coming and going. read more

Great breakfast burrito!! Best I've had in town!! Decent size and made your way if you like. Recommend!

My sister recommended this place and I saw that they had Waffle and Ribs so I decide to give it a try. I placed the order around 9:30 am via the online Toast App. The ribs were a bit tough and dry but the bacon chipotle sauce made it a little bit more bearable to eat. I'm not sure if it was because I ordered the food around 9:30am and was given a time to pick up at 9:58?‍ Although I probably would not order this particular item again, I would like to try other items they had on the menu like the eggs tacos some other time. I wanted to order something to drink and they had Lipton Peach Tea in the 16 oz bottle but I was not willing to pay $3.75 for it so I just declined and decided to drink water at home. read more
