I say that because, I had to go get my own napkins plastic ware and and plates. I ordered an Arnold Palmer, and at first I got received a unsweetened tea. I told the server and she brought back a warm sweet tea and a lemonade in separate cups. Then the clam chowder was horrible. Tasted like mop water. The calamari was fried too long and was rubbery. And so were the eggs. The only good was the okra. I believe in leaving tips even if the service is hot garbage.

For months, one of my friends kept insisting we go to her "Vietnamese crawfish boil place." I love…read moreVietnamese food and I love seafood, so I was curious, but I had never eaten crawfish and certainly never done this fusion style of boil. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. We finally got the plan out of the group chat and into real life for a girls' night on Sunday. Parking is limited but easy right in front, if you come on the earlier side (which we did). Our Vietnamese friend was running late, so my other friend and I placed the order off a very explicit text from her. We did a make-your-own boil: four pounds of crawfish and two pounds of shrimp in Cajun garlic butter, plus red and green sauces on her advice. One tip I wish we'd known going in: there's a Vietnamese menu and an American menu, and we ordered off the American one. The boil wasn't as spicy as we'd hoped, but it still had plenty of flavor and a decent kick. If you're spice averse, the Cajun garlic butter is still a safe bet with a lot of depth of flavor. The food came fast and took over the entire table. A huge tray of crawfish, shrimp, corn, and potatoes arrived with gloves, a trash can, and a spread of fixings to add more spice and flavor, if you so choose. It is messy and we replaced our gloves and trash can about halfway through. It is also SO incredibly satisfying to crack a shell and eat the meat straight out of it, dripping in butter and whatever seasoning you've mixed up. You work for every bite, which somehow makes the indulgence feel earned. As a first-timer, I'd say crawfish tastes a little like lobster, and I honestly liked it more. Everything tasted extremely fresh, which I suspect is why this place has a following. When our friend arrived, she added two orders of grilled scallops from the Vietnamese menu. They come in the shell with butter, fresh herbs, and breadcrumbs, and they were outstanding, an absolute must-order item. She called all of this the "appetizer" portion of the meal. The main event, apparently, was three bowls of Vietnamese udon soup: a heaping bowl of rich broth with aromatics, pork, crab, and shrimp. It was deeply flavorful and a great complement to the boil. The broth really soothed my allergies and I appreciated that the seafood boil was not a salt bomb like other boils I've been to. We finished nearly all the boil and every scallop, then took at least half of each soup home. With tax and tip, it came to about $99 per person for the three of us. For this much seafood at this quality, that's a great deal. I'm already planning my next visit and have told everyone I know. (Literally, lol, even friends who don't live in Nashville heard me raving about this spot!) The wings and fish were really nice and crispy. The lemon pepper seasoning was better than most other chicken places so that was a nice surprise. Found out they ran out of chicken ‍ The counter person was on her phone the entire time and not checking online order tickets or food as it was coming out from the kitchen. She was being rude on top of it all. Sounds like they were messing up people's orders as I heard another customer put on speaker with the same girl at the front. She didn't check customer receipts for some people ahead so I'm assuming she messed up the orders. Luckily the food is solid and I'm supporting this business since they lost their one of the owners to tragic and unfortunate circumstances. Hopefully they do better if there is a next time.

I took my dad here for a late Father's Day/Birthday celebration. He's been wanting to go here for a while but since his girlfriend doesn't like seafood boils, he has no one to go with him. I've never done a seafood boil so this was a new experience for me. We were greeted immediately and sat at a clean table. Our waitress was awesome, she was attentive and quick. My dad had Combo G extra hot (1/2 pound snow crab legs, 1/2 pound shrimp, and 1/2 pound sausage with potato and corn), I had Combo I medium spice (1 pound shrimp, 1/2 pound sausage, potato, and corn) and a side of coleslaw, and my husband had spicy onion rings, crab cakes, and corn made hot with Old Bay seasoning. My dad requested butter and they gave him a whole bowl of their deliciousness! Our food came out quickly and we were given bibs, gloves, and a trash can. Our waitress refilled my husband's and dad's drinks twice without them asking (I was slow to drink mine). The food here is SO good!!! I regretted not making mine hot with old bay seasoning because truth be told, if you can handle spicy food, even the extra hot isn't that spicy. However, everything was perfect and I had a lot of fun getting a little messy. Their coleslaw was phenomenal. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was my husband's crab cakes but he really enjoyed them. We didn't have to wait for a check or for to-go boxes. Our waitress was on top of it throughout our entire meal. We will definitely be back!!

Mistakes happen, but refusing to fix them is poor management and worse customer service. Very disappointing experience.
