I arrived not long after they opened last Saturday, parked in front, and walked into the clean looking restaurant. I've been here twice in 3 days. I had the sausage bacon burrito the first time with the lady diva sauce, a chipotle mayo kind of sauce. A pretty good combo with a nice crispy hash brown and the tortilla was crisped up adding great texture. Today I had the beefy burrito, pretty much a breakfast burrito with a beef patty with green salsa and I loved this combo today, it was so bomb. Imma get this again next time and got French toast today too. It was simple and yummy but the star of the show was the ube cream cheese. My choice was the breakfast burrito: Yolky Scramble Burrito. I'm not one for meat in my breakfast burritos but the bacon complimented the soft scrambled eggs so well without making it overly greasy. The melted cheese also melded the ingredients together and the crispy tots were the cherry on top. It was so delicious that it didn't need any extra sauce and it was the perfect serving size. My mom also loved the Eggstra since it was a fun concept of replacing typical breakfast buns with crunch French toast. The iced cafe latte was pretty sweet and just alright. So glad I decided to stop in for the breakfast side of things after such a great experience the day before at WingFerno. Their breakfast offerings are top shelf, and their staff (morning or afternoon it seems) are on point and go above and beyond expectation - from entrance to exit I watched them putting in the effort to make the show go. I purchased a Spicy Chicken Burrito on their suggestion and it did not disappoint. The eggs were done perfectly, as was the chicken, add in their sauce and cheese and it was the perfect ensemble. I also watched a lot of folk just coming in for the coffee options, so I feel it safe to say that these must be quite good as well. ;) The place is clean and well kept, and there's plenty of indoor seating; a chill atmosphere for sure. I was eggcited that there was a new breakfast spot opened up, but sadly this place did not exceed expectations. I ordered online and got the Eggstra sandwich and the spicy chicken tender burrito. I got there early and while I was waiting it was pretty hectic in there. Not sure if the workers were new or what, but they seemed pretty disorganized. My order also took a little longer than quoted to come out. I liked the Eggstra more than the burrito since the burrito was really heavy because of the fried tender and hash browns for breakfast. Was feeling breakfast burrito near my barber so ran across this place. First impression at walk in: busy, clean, loud vibe with digital menu screen with a line to order. My guess was it's going to be a long wait based on number of people I saw waiting for their food. And saw at least one guy leave the line to exit the eatery after the wait. The cashier was high energy gal with giant smiles. She certainly kept the line moving fast and seemed genuinely happy and calm even with the chaotic noise that surrounded her. My burrito came out in just 15 minutes. Not bad considering how many people were moving in and out along with Uber eats also piling up. My bacon sausage breakfast burrito was MUCH smaller than average one found at a Mexican or local burger joint. (But then I could never finish one of those giant burritos sold elsewhere.) Taste? It was simply wow. Nice crunch coupled with mixed flavors of bacon sausage and that special sauce called Lava sauce. I loved every bite until it was quickly gone. Only thing I would've liked was for their hot sauce, warned by the jolly cashier as "hot!", to be spicier. Personally I'm a fan of the super hot sauce a la King Taco or even Alberto's to go with my burritos. My work around was to add their provided packets of Tapatio into the Lava sauce cups. What we ordered: EggStra Smile - soft scrambled egg is my favorite egg + the sriracha in this was so delicious. 1/3rd of the filling was outside of the bun and it was so messy to eat due to the way it is served (standing up with the buns vertical), but still delicious when you have to eat some of it with a fork. This was seasoned so well for it being a very basic egg sandwich. Sausage Bacon Egg & Cheese - delicious and filling with an over medium egg that oozes, yum. Having both sausage and bacon in this sandwich so you don't have to choose is the best. Hash brown - CRISPY, hot, I was craving a hash brown and this hit the spot. Iced Black Coffee - regular and decent, this is not why we came here but would get again with our meal. Service was so kind and friendly, we were checked up on a few times even though it is an order at the counter and pick up your food at the counter type of restaurant. EggStra becomes a chicken shop after breakfast, love the mix-use space utilization. Located in a large plaza with plenty of parking, a good place to grab breakfast before running errands. Went to their grand opening and had a good experience! I had the spicy chicken burrito and was provided with green salsa and their special sauce which was pretty spicy but had a really good taste. The portion sizes are somewhat small compared to the price but I would still definitely come back. I also tried their Vietnamese coffee and ice cafe latte which were the right amount of sweet. I would say if you were going for a more bitter and stronger tasting coffee then go for the Vietnamese coffee ((: Overall, the staff were also very friendly and patient despite their very long line of customers. read more

I really wanted to support a new small business today so I went to the grand opening. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. We got the Yolky Scramble, which is an egg, cheese, tater tots burrito. Very standard breakfast burrito priced at $11.89 without tax, so I didn't expect anything gourmet. I was so shocked to open the medium sized paper bag to find a tiny baby 4 inch x 2 inch wide burrito (see image for reference). And it was mid. Super disappointed at the price to portion ratio. Just go across the street for LJ's ($15 for a huge burrito). There needs to be more value for anyone to actually come back here. read more

My husband ordered the Spicy Chicken Burrito and I ordered the Sausage Bacon Egg Cheese Sandwich with both their sauces (green salsa and lady diva). The breakfast burrito was packed with bold flavor--fluffy eggs, crispy hashbrowns, juicy, perfectly seasoned chicken and just the right amount of heat to wake up my taste buds without overwhelming them. Every bite felt like a good flavor bomb wrapped in a warm tortilla. The breakfast sandwich was equally impressive--sausage had nice flavor, applewood bacon was crispy with slight hint of sweetness, eggs perfectly over medium (not too runny where the yolk spills everywhere and not overcooked), brioche bread was soft yet crisp on the edges. Stopped today during their soft opening. Grand opening is this Saturday. The restaurant opens as Eggstra during morning until 1 pm then changes to Wing Ferno. As you walk in, you'll order at the register and there's a decent amount (6 or 7 tables) of tables for dine in. I must say, the entire staff and owner (his name starts with K and ends with Y) were really friendly, big plus. We tried the following: Hash browns (about one and a half the size of a McDonalds hash brown), a little less dense, slightly thicker and good texture. We opted for The Eggstra and French Country. The bread is actually coated with a cereal which gives it an interested crunch. Both were good. The French Country is kind of like eating fried chicken and waffle sandwich (comes with maple syrup on the side) but with French toast instead. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich, which we ordered to go has a nice soft bun and the egg was firm but not overcooked. I preferred it without the sriracha mayo so I asked for it on the side. The drinks were all really good and a good size. I think it's a 20 oz cup. The strawberry green tea was sweet but not overly sweet. I really enjoyed the Iced Cafe Latte and the House Coffee (which we got a small sample of). Not sure if we'll make it back for the Saturday morning grand opening but will definitely come back when they have the beefy burrito and Eggstra Credit sandwich...and of course a couple drinks to go with it. read more

Saw a Matcha BoGO deal and decided to get breakfast here. You can order ahead to save waiting in time if you To Go it otherwise you can eat inside. Ordered the eggstra sando with brioche bread. The egg was fluffy and tasty 4/5. The condensed milk along with parsley and salt makes a well balanced mix. Also, get it with the diva sauce if you like it spicy. I also ordered the beef burrito which comes with tatter tots, eggs, and beef 5/5. The burrito was tasty and has a nice balanced of flavors. The tortilla had a nice crust from the press which holds the shape of the burrito. Get it a the diva sauce as well. For the BoGo Matcha, I got the regular Matcha latte and strawberry matcha. The regular matcha with cream was very good. Matcha was well mix as you don't taste clumps of sometimes that sandy texture if not mixed well. The space was cozy and had lots of parking. To start off with the young woman who greeted us and then took our order seemed so genuinely happy and wanted to help everyone. She was so bubbly I thought she would float away. So it started very well. The food was really good, my buddy and I had breakfast burritos and I love crispy tater tots in a burrito. And it was very good. We both approved. My wife had one of the sandwiches and the French toast with Ube butter. She enjoyed it very much. She also had a latte and my buddy just had a black coffee. My wife thought the latte was very good but felt it was overpriced. So this was the only drawback. While everything was very good I felt everything was a little pricey especially when just down the street you can get a breakfast burrito for half the price and twice the size. First off, the service here is Eggcellent! Carolina is an incredible host and really amplified the experience. She warmly greeted everybody who walked in, including myself, and was super helpful as this was my first time here so I asked her to walk me through the menu. Everything was prepared fresh and the ingredients are all high quality. The brioche bun was soft and toasted nicely, the eggs were fluffy, the bacon was flavorful with a nice bite, and the cheese was melted perfectly. I ordered the sauces on the side to try them individually: both mayos were tasty, but the lady diva sauce was unreal and I would highly recommend you get a side of it to try. The prices on the menu are reasonable given the quality of ingredients, freshness, and portion sizes. The interior was spacious and everything was perfectly clean. I saw an ad on IG which led me to make an effort to try this restaurant. It's definitely not a location I can get to easily for a breakfast burrito. What led me to want to try this place is the way they soft scramble their eggs. It makes for a nice texture and tend to not be overcooked like most places. I happened to be in the vicinity for work so I planned to visit and see for myself. I ordered the bacon and. Sausage breakfast burrito. They cut it in half which I like and I chose the creamy and mildly spicy sauce. It might be called the Diva Sauce. The other one is a salsa verde I think. They said the Diva Sauce is a little spicier. I really enjoyed the burrito. They added perfectly crispy and mildly salted tator tots and just the right amount of them. The bacon and sausage was good as well. The only slight criticism is there was a little too much sausage for me. It was not a big deal. I would take a couple pieces out, eat them and it would make a nice pocket for the Diva Sauce. The service and ambiance is nice as well. On a side note, they open early and close at 1pm.
