My husband found this place and we decided to give it a try. They have a couple of locations but this location still had that small town charm. We visited on a Monday morning and it was pretty full but we were seated right away. Our server was welcoming and friendly. I ordered the Combo under Sweets & More which came with 2 eggs, your choice of meats (I chose all chicken apple sausage), and your choice of pancakes, French toast, waffles, or crepes (I chose crepes with very berry & pecans). My husband ordered the Corned Beef Hash which came with 2 eggs and your choice of 2 sides. Both of our meals came out quickly and everything was good. The meals were reasonably priced. My wife and I caught an early movie and decided to come here after. I joined the waiting list via yelp as the drive was about 10 mins away. I received a confirmation text @12:58PM. Our seating time was between 1:17 and 1:36 which was perfect. We sat in the car for almost 2 hours watching bigger parties get moved up in front of us in the waiting queue. It's now 2:48PM and the restaurant closes at 3:00PM. We decided to walk in and see what happened and there's absolutely no wait and no one is even checking the waiting list anymore. I stood there and watched as the workers sat at a table in the front laughing and carrying on. My wife and I have had very good experiences here in the past but I'm not sure what happened this time. My family and I LOVE coming here for breakfast, the food is great every time no matter what we've picked. Staff is friendly and do a great job. I'll say if you go on the weekend, prepare for a wait but it will be worth it! It can be noisy so maybe don't plan for a more "intimate" breakfast, but defiantly a great place to go! read more

I have now dined at all 6 of the locations for Eggsquisite Cafe around the Dallas, TX area. Midlothian, Texas was today, and they equalled all the others in quality of ingredients, and hospitality. A great restaurant concept began here in Allen, TX (north of Dallas) in 2015, and despite the pandemic era, and recent national inflation, has expanded. Today I found out that a new location will open soonish up north in Sherman, TX, a rural town along Hwy 75 on the way to Durant, Oklahoma. Nothing succeeds like Success! I am getting sleepy with my full little belly, I better make this short & sweet: Very nice, newer shopping center. The Eggsquisite is squeezed next to a Jimmy John's and a sushi shop. The parking lot, though big, has a weird flow right in front of Eggsquisite. 1 row back, and toward Petco store, you are better off. Healthy menu items, and also Comfort Food, and some spicy dishes too. Kids menu, they will like. I am a senior now, so healthy items such as Salmon Toast pack plenty of nutrition, and beneficial effects of avocado & salmon oils. Placed upon multi-grain bread, this is filling, besides being healthy. My "dessert" was the Very Berry version waffle, piled with fresh Blueberries, and Strawberries, and Red & Blackberries, with luscious Mascarpone Cream! It is Okay to play with your food at Eggsquisite Cafe! I added the Sweet Potato Waffle Fries to my Salmon Toast plate, yum! Good food, great waitstaff, and the direct attention of the manager as he walked from table to table to see if everything was ok. We had a poached egg that was cooked hard. On a casual remark, not a complaint, the manager immediately went to the kitchen and returned within a couple of minutes with a perfectly cooked replacement. read more

Firstly, Taylor the GM was amazing. I'd never been so has a few questions about the menu and he was completely honest. I ended up getting the Bacado Omelet and it was delicious. Portions are big, orange juice is fresh squeezed (5), and the coffee was robust. My only wish is that they made homemade hollandaise and gravy. The Benedicts looked good but I must be a hollandaise snob because I won't eat it if it's not homemade. They have a "famous" biscuit and gravy omelet but the gravy isn't homemade so I passed on that too. read more

Fantastic breakfast spot with fresh food and great service. This morning, I ordered the Ironman plate with bacon, multi- grain toast, and berries. It was just perfect! So fresh and tasty! My wife ordered the steak and eggs, and might get 3 breakfasts out of that dish. The steak was perfect, the scrambled eggs and hash browns were really great. One thing that often goes wrong with this dish is that they undercook the hash browns. Not here! You get just the right blend of crispy and tender. We expected a long wait due to breakfast peak hours but we were surprised at getting a table in less than 5 min. The menu is packed with a variety of breakfast foods to satisfy any craving you may have. Our server kept our coffees full and we received our order extremely quickly (which also explains the short wait time for a table). The food was delicious and does not resemble those chain breakfast restaurants at all. The ambiance here is very welcoming and they have kept it simple when it comes to decorations. Where to start... my daughter and I were on a short road trip and decided to stop at this cute new spot in Midlothian, Tx. There looked to be a line when we arrived however we were seated immediately. The place was pretty packed with happy folks. The vibe was homey and comfortable. Everything coming from the kitchen was looking very appetizing. The waitress approached us as soon as we sat down and brought us our drink order. We ordered food pretty quickly as well since we were "starving" lol. I have the crepes plain with eggs, sausage, bacon and we shared a side of grits. My daughter had pancakes with eggs, bacon and grits. The crepes I feel like should have been a little thinner but they were very delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and melted in your mouth. I did not have to use any syrup at all. The sides were all cooked to perfection. I had a happy plate at the end which says a lot if you know me. Overall, this place is a winner. The staff was great and the service was speedy. The atmosphere could be loud at times but not overwhelming. I am definitely gonna put this on my visit when visiting list. The food is so amazing. Had the steak skillet and the meat was done perfect. The avocado Benedict was beautiful, that is what my friend had. The ambiance is so welcoming with its neutral colors. Went today (Saturday) and was told there would be a 15 min wait. Not bad as we got seated in just 5. The atmosphere was really well done and our server was both polite and kind as she took our order. Here is where it took a bit of a dive. We didnt see her again until food came out and only once after for refills on drinks. ( had to ask for a straw as not everyone was given one) the food was...basic not that its a bad thing but nothing to brag about. Portions were fair but food was just ok. However the spicy (if you can call it that) chicken was horrendous as i barely managed to finish a single bite. Everything else like i said was fine price is what it is. Tipping options are a bit high for the service you get. Probably wont give another chance but wont tell anyone not to try it for themselves read more

Fantastic!! My only regret in coming to Eggsquisite is that I can't eat it all. I ordered the Bacado omelette and it did not disappoint. Light fluffy and stuffed with big pieces of bacon, cheese, spinach and tomatoes. Topped with slices from half a big avocado. Many places just pour egg in a pan and flip it over. But this was more of a baked soufflé style omelette. I'm not sure how they cooked it so quickly but it was truly Eggsquisite! The grits were nice and thick as they should be. I thought I just had strawberries but after digging in found strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. They don't skimp. All were fresh and sweet. The manager called me honey and was warm and welcoming. As was Mia, my server, very friendly and efficient. I was in town on business and wished I could have lingered in the bright, open dining room. At todays prices my breakfast was over $20 with tip but worth every penny. In fact if you're going to pay to eat out, why go anywhere but the best? This will be my go to breakfast spot in Midlothian for sure. read more

I came in here with my best friend on a Thursday morning at around 8am. We had one of our usual waitresses who seemed very excited to see us! The food is consistently good, always hot and fresh. My one note (this is crucial) is that the coffee here is just simply not good. We have tried to enjoy their iced coffees but they taste like sewer water with a splash of cream. Not appealing so I don't recommend the coffee.... We love this place nonetheless! Very comfortable and reasonable prices. read more
