Lots of hype here but this Yelper was underwhelmed. Despite the demise of Slutty Vegan, this chain has chosen to use the "S word" in its own branding. Hope that works out. We ordered the egg sandwich with sausage and truffle hash browns. The browns stole the show with 'not to miss' taste. The eggs were decent and the sausage was right on target. What cost this establishment two stars was their stale brioche bun. It was a week after the World Cup so I'm thinking this was left over from the (smaller than expected) crowds. I'd try them again because they are right down the street from my hood but I'm convinced that Eggflip has the best breakfast sandwich in town!
This is a location based out of the Moxy Hotel. The seating area is basically the hotel lobby. They opened an hour ago and they said they were out of cinnamon toast cold brew. Literally soooo disappointed. I got the Fairfax breakfast sandwich. the eggs were soft scrambled and brioche bun was good. But now I have to find somewhere else to get coffee :( very sad
Food did not blow me away. Very expensive for what it is. Very bland. Service was great! Ambiance was also pleasant. But i wouldnt be back.
The egg sandwich itself was tasty, but the French toast sticks and hash browns absolutely stole the show! The parking situation is a bit difficult, and the service left something to be desired, so I have to give it four stars overall.
While taking time to discover new things in Atlanta before world cup matches take over, we dilly dallied down to Eggslut after leaving Jagger Room upstairs. You may have had Eggslut in Vegas. Well, it has found its way to the Peach State in the new Moxy Hotel downtown. Eggslut can be accessed from outside or through the hotel. The system is simple-order your food and you get a number so they'll know who to give their food to. I only had fries; my significant other got a sausage egg and cheese sandwich (the sausage was chicken sausage). He said the chicken was just okay and probably should have gotten pork sausage instead. However, the service was very polite and the food came out quick. I plan to come back again to try an actual breakfast sandwich.
While staying at the Moxy Hotel downtown, I grabbed food from Eggslut. It's a unique name but and menu is simple for egg lovers. It's a take out counter but you can eat right on the lobby bar of the Moxy. The ambiance is upbeat, energetic and casual. The window/lobby walls open all the way up for fresh air and access to the sidewalk seating too. I ordered the Fairfax - cage-free soft scrambled eggs and chives, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and sriracha mayo in a warm brioche bun. It was packaged so nicely and I added the side salad to get some greens in. It's a simple but very tasty sandwich. The house made bread is outstanding. I'll definitely try the other options with meat on my next visit. They have bacon, chicken sausage, Wagyu and ground beef. Drop in if you're in the area!
Pricey, but good! This ended up being a to-go order. We had planned to stay because Yelp lists this location as "dogs allowed," but that didn't really seem to be the case. The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich is delicious! The bread is fluffy, the cheese is perfectly melty, the egg is cooked just right, and the chipotle ketchup adds a nice kick without being overly spicy. Get it, you won't regret it. The French toast sticks (3) are surprisingly large and very sweet. They also come with a delicious maple glaze dipping sauce. The vanilla cream cold brew had the perfect cold brew-to-sweet-foam ratio, although I do wish there were a larger size option. Service was a little slow, but we visited on a busy Saturday morning. My husband waited about 10 minutes in line to order, and then we waited another 20 minutes for our food. There was plenty of seating inside. Parking, however, is rough. The parking garage directly next door was $45, and the nearby lots appeared to be similarly priced. Plan to get dropped off, walk, or be prepared to spend as much (or more) on parking as you do on your meal. As for the dog-friendly designation, I'm still confused. We brought our small 14-pound Havapoo and I initially waited outside while my husband ordered. I couldn't find any outdoor seating in front of the building. Eventually, I brought her inside and sat in the lobby-style seating area. No one said anything, but it also didn't seem like a place where dogs were routinely accommodated. If you're planning to bring your pup, I would recommend calling ahead to confirm the policy.
I absolutely hate to admit this place was super tasty. I am knocking down a star for 2 reasons. Mainly, parking around here is HEINOUS and a crime but it lowkey is worth it. Second, I do think its a little overpriced for what you get but I do think that is hard to not feel at brunch. We came on a Saturday morning and did have to wait about 15 minutes in line to order. We tried the fries too also because we didn't get the french toast sticks and they were good but the hashbrowns were better but too expensive. I mean overall, this was good. Will I be back?? Not until parking is better OR I can hopefully Uber eats this...
It's a bit pricey, but the atmosphere is amazing. The food was good and the location is perfect. There's a line outside the door and it does take time for them to prep, but they call you at one at a time. Be ready.
Great addition to the grab and go upscale Atlanta breakfast scene. I am so happy this location has come to Atlanta and it's in a great hotel downtown next to all the fun attractions. The ambience is cool because it's right in the lobby of the hotel. If you go, make sure you get the French toast is submerged in cinnamon sugar goodness and it is very sweet so you have been warned. I came around lunchtime so I opted for the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. I definitely will be coming back during breakfast. Time to try some of the menu items. The service was quick and the staff were really nice. The only thing that is not so great is the parking but it's great if you are just walking in the area and want a quick bite to eat.
Seen Eggslut recently opened in Atlanta and wanted to give it a try. This location is conveniently inside the lobby of the Moxy Atlanta Downtown. You can either walk up and order from the takeout window or head inside, place your order, and enjoy your food in the lobby seating area. If you plan to dine in, I'd definitely recommend using the Moxy's valet for convenience. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese, French toast sticks, and the truffle hash browns. Everything was made fresh to order, but the wait was still very quick. I thoroughly enjoyed the French toast sticks and the hash browns--both had great flavor and an excellent texture. I would absolutely order those again. I'd be interested in trying another breakfast sandwich next time. While the bacon, egg, and cheese was good, the proportions felt a little off. The brioche bun was a bit too dominant and overpowered the egg and bacon, so the sandwich didn't feel as balanced as it could have been. Overall, I would definitely return to try other menu items if I'm in the area.

Don't be intimidated by the long line. It moves really fast. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Full bar in the middle of the restaurant. My sandwich was delicious bacon crispy and egg cooked perfectly. The hash browns are a must have.
I was visiting Atlanta for a convention and I had Egg Slut on my list of must-do breakfast restaurants. First impression of the space was really positive, I liked the clean and industrial feel, and the softness with plants and comfy couches. The worker who took my order was nice and also patient, as we had a big group. I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Cold Brew and oh it was so good! Definitely not too sweet and no bitterness that cold brews can sometimes have. The flavor was spot on and I loved it. For food, I chose the Fairfax Sandwich and I added avocado to it. This sandwich was ridiculously tasty. The brioche was soft and fluffy, the eggs were perfectly scrambled and so tender and velvety, and the flavors of the caramelized onions with the sriracha mayo were excellent. The avocado also added an extra layer of creaminess. I think the only thing that could turn people off from this sandwich was that it was all one texture - soft. I loved it, and so did the others in my group who ordered it, but I understand how some may wish for a crunch or a bite of some sort. I used to live in Chicago and loved the brioche egg sandwiches at Do Rite Donuts, so I anticipated a similar satisfaction. There were a few things that soured the experience for us. Parking: This was a huge damper. We did not know this location is in the lobby of The Moxy Hotel. Parking is a nightmare. There is very limited street parking (the aquarium and other attractions are next door), so we had to park in the garage which starts at $20. This is insane. The Moxy offers valet parking for $22 for 3-6 hours. On a rainy day, like today - the parking limitations are even more annoying. We heavily considered turning around. Service: It was very busy. There was some confusion with our order because after we picked up the sandwiches, another person made our sandwich again and called out our order. Which means they made the same order twice. Staff looked a bit flustered - understandably so. Food: I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese but it had loads of ketchup on it. I think I got someone else's order. My partner got the sausage, egg, and cheese. Outside of the ketchup, the sandwich was okay. It wasn't bad. I also got French toast sticks which were loaded with cinnamon sugar reminiscent of a soft pretzel. It was a nice treat. The coldbrews were about 10ounces and they were okay as well. Cost: We spent $58 on the food. This includes two sandwiches, side hash browns, side French toast sticks, regular cold brew, and vanilla cold brew. Overall, the experience was cool. For the cost and parking, you wouldn't be missing anything if you just decided to go to Chick-fil-A. Maybe try to visit on a less busy weekday when you can get street parking and less errors. read more
This is a newly opened spot on the 1st floor of the Moxy hotel. I have been to the one in Vegas many times so this was the first time here. You will place your over and sit in the lobby (if eating in) and since it's in a hotel, there is plenty of seating. They have the door open sometimes so you can get some outside air too. The lobby has several TVs so you can catch some TV or a game as you wait. The service was good. Everyone was super duper cool. The guy at the register was mad chill and we talked while the food was being prepped. Sausage egg and cheese - solid sandwich with bread flavor. I usually get the sausage and add bacon but didn't. But still a great breakfast sandwich. Egg is runny and drinks so be aware (which was not issue for me...it's just juicy lol). Paying around 11 dollars for the sandwich and it comes with fries (I believe). Rosemary fries - good fries, cooked pretty well and very tasty Hash browns - these were fire. They were fried and seasoned perfectly. They hit every time, and I will be back. read more

This spot is literally right down the street from my rooftop, so I decided to grab breakfast this morning and came across Eggslut I didn't even know it was within walking distance! Everything I ordered was delicious, from the French toast to the bacon, egg, and cheese. Definitely a great find and I'll be coming back for sure! read more

The first time I've ever heard of Eggslut was in LA, but I've never had a chance to try it there. When I heard that there's one here in Atlanta, I definitely wanted to try it! Eggslut is located in an open dining area next to a hotel near the Olympic Park. I had their sausage egg and cheese burger and I think it's my favorite breakfast type of burger I've had! I found the buns to be really airy. I also had a side of hash browns and I really enjoyed that too! read more
Made my way to eggslut this morning. I first tried this place in Vegas inside of the cosmopolitan. So I was excited to see it come to Atlanta. They didn't disappoint. The quality is the same. I tried the Fairfax and the bacon egg and cheese while playing connect four and people watching. The food came out quickly and the staff was thorough. I will definitely be back. I wish there was free parking around here. That would be the only improvement. read more

Stopped by the Eggslut location in the Moxy Atlanta Downtown (right near Coca-Cola headquarters at 329 Marietta St NW) and overall it was a solid experience -- enough for 4 stars. The star of the show was the egg sandwich -- really excellent with fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and that tasty sauce on a great bun. However, it was pretty messy and kept falling apart from the bottom, which made it hard to eat cleanly. The Truffle Hash Browns had awesome flavor but were way too greasy and should have been drained better before serving. Unfortunately, the service was noticeably lacking -- no one offered a drink and it felt quite inattentive. Verdict: Excellent food held back by poor service. The sandwiches are good enough that I'll probably return, but they definitely need to work on hospitality. Nice spot if you're in the area! (Attached pics of the spot + my order ) read more

Honestly it's hard to justify nearly $20 for a bacon egg and cheese and a handful of hash browns but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't good. Sure my inner-New-Englander is shaming me for paying that price but there aren't too many options like this down south, at least to my knowledge. This place also has a full service bar and board games. The vibes definitely give "third space" as I saw people with their laptops out and others lounging around. read more

Located in the Moxxy, Eggslut's with North coats location opening in Atlanta. I didn't get to try it while in Vegas so I was glad they just opened a location - conveniently near the aquarium. I got the sausage egg and cheese on the brioche bun, it is more elevated than your typical breakfast sandwich but at the end of the day it is just a sandwich. Good but nothing spectacle. one and done type of thing for me. read more

The food was somewhat underwhelming, especially considering the $30 price point. The sandwich was noticeably greasy, and the chicken sausage was served lukewarm. I was also concerned to see a cook wipe sweat from his forehead with a napkin and continue working without changing his gloves, which raised some food-handling concerns. I'm a big fan of the Las Vegas location, which is actually what motivated me to visit this one. While the Vegas location often has much longer lines, the food quality and overall experience have consistently been better in my experience. This Atlanta location has a great spot and plenty of potential to become a breakfast staple in the city. With a few operational and quality-control improvements, I believe it could deliver an experience that matches the strength of the brand. read more

My husband and I were excited to see Eggslut coming to Atlanta. We first had it in L.A., and we loved it, so we couldn't wait to try this location. We went on a Saturday around mid-morning. It's located inside of the Moxy so seating can be limited. Thankfully, we arrived at the perfect time before the crowd. At first, there was only one line opened, but they eventually let patrons order at the outer widnow. We ordered the cinnamon toast cold brew, the sausage, egg & cheese, double cheeseburger, French toast sticks, and truffle hash browns. Since they are new, they still have a few kinks to work out, as calling the names out loudwasn't conducive for the busy area. Maybe an intercom, buzzer, or a ticketing system would be better suited. When we received our food, it was good; however, our only gripe was that some of our food was lukewarm. Overall, we enjoyed most of it and we're glad they made their way to the A! We are looking forward to trying it again with the hopes that all of the kinks will be worked out. read more

First off the food was good...however the price was insane! It was $76 for 3 breakfast sandwiches and 3 coffees...seating was hit or miss so you have to hope someone gets up. If you want something on the go the sandwich was good but really you can go to and actual restaurant for the same price with free refills. read more

I love the vibes here! I went once in the morning and once at night. It's a chill laid back place and there's space to sit and relax or do some work. There's also a bar in the building to go to. Breakfast sandwiches are one of my favorite foods! I got the fairfax sandwich in the morning and at night i got a chicken sausage,egg, and cheese sandwich as a recommendation. I enjoyed the fairfax sandwich a lot! The flavor was mild but still tasty and the texture was good. I did not like the chicken sausage though. I think it would've tasted better with regular sausage. The texture of the chicken sausage threw me off and it reminded me of more of a vegan sausage vibe. It was also green??? I asked the cashier if the accidentally gave me vegan sausage and he said it was normal for the color. The service was good and the people were really nice. Update: My friend got a regular pork sausage,egg, and cheese sandwich and the meat looked the exact same as mine when i ordered the chicken sausage. It was still green. She also got the french toast sticks and said that they were good! read more

Stopped by for breakfast today, a little busy but no line to order and staff was friendly. Ordered the cheeseburger no pickles with a side order of the hash browns to go. Didn't realize until I got home that they forgot the egg on the sandwich which was extremely disappointing. Burger was still good, but given the name of the establishment I was looking forward to the egg. Hash browns were salty but had a nice crunch. Overall nice experience and I can see myself visiting again, hopefully next time I can try their egg. read more

Our second time, I tried the Blicky and rosemary fries. It is a bbq sandwich with a fried egg, so delicious and messy! Rosemary fries were fried perfectly, crispy and not oily. I think the Blicky is only on the Atlanta menu. read more
