Sausage , scrambled cheese eggs and sausage
Josh O.

Nothing too Eggsellent about the food or business itself. The food was mediocre but I will note the customer service from Jessica was very friendly and helpful. I came on a Wednesday morning early at 8am and was the only person there besides staff. Noticeably there were staff coughing and sneezing . I ordered the 2x4 pancakes with sausage, scrambled cheese eggs and bacon. The pancakes tasted like they came from a plastic wrapped box, the bacon was rubbery and tough to chew, the eggs were slightly runny . The space itself was bigger than I imagined somewhat clean. Lots of open seating . The prices would've been reasonable if the quality was there but it wasn't . I would hope the lunch menu is better, however I won't return to find out.

Great breakfasts awaits! We have eaten here several times and each time was better than the last. It has been difficult for me to order anything but the crepes which are so thin, light, and luscious with mixed berries. The kids menu is for ages 10 and under a fair price at $6.50 for the pancakes and a drink. I should mention there's no refill on milk or juice. Andrea was our server today. She was extremely busy with 4 additional tables. But she happily made rounds to our table often. The best tip I can suggest is have your food order ready as soon as the server arrives to get your order. This since the kitchen appears to get backed up very quickly. Our food order was not delivered within 15 minutes or less, actually closer to 22 minutes for our breakfast to arrive. Breakfast is made to order. Yes, please, and thank you! Hubby said his eggs were perfectly soft scrambled. He is an egg man for sure! This before diving into pancakes, crepes or oatmeal!

I went here after church with one of my friends. This was a very good experience. The customer service was good. It was in too packed and busy, but it definitely can get packed and busy. The food was pretty good. I'd give it an eight out of 10 for the food and I will definitely be back after church.

Wow 5 stars. As I was leaving church, I knew I wanted something really good for breakfast, so I looked at the local diners near me and Eggsellent café came up. I did not see a lot of pictures of the menu, but I was really hungry and I enjoy small diners. This diner was about seven minutes away from my church. I got there glanced at the menu and decided quickly what I want it because I was super hungry. My food took no more than 10 minutes my steak was juicy and cooked perfectly this steak skillet was an awesome choice. The steak is so perfectly seasoned. I didn't need any sauce to go with it. No extra salt nothing it was seasoned. The hash brown underneath the steak has feta cheese, tomatoes, peppers, onion, and spinach. This was an amazing blend and I cannot wait to go back in order it again. I ordered the banana Nutella crêpes without the banana. I love crepes however, this was not my favorite crêpe. It was very mushy and doughy. As I cut into it, it was very slimy. This is a small diner. It's very dark inside, but very intimate. I think it's family owned and the customer service was amazing. Everybody was nice very attentive and fast service. I cannot wait to return and bring my family and friends with me.

What a great find for our late breakfast at 2:00 pm. Our waitress was Andrea and another beautiful lady. They both was very nice and kept asking us how everything was and tending to us as well. I had the Steak Skillet and my had the Chorizo Omelette. Both dish was very good. We also had a cup of coffee. Our bill came out to $37.50 tax included. They also offer teachers, veterans and first responders discounts. Although I did not asked for it. So our bill was without the discount. Food was very tasty. I recommend if you are over in the Bishop Arts area or in Oak Cliff this would be a nice spot to eat at.

Food was so good looking for a lighter breakfast and they did wonderful. Ordered on DoorDash and was ready when I got there.

Unfortunately, this place was a letdown, it was giving hole in the wall, but I was hoping that's what made it great. Instead, the service was trash, and the food was mediocre. Don't waste your time.

The food was so good and the presentation was really great. The service was superb and the prices were also great. The place was nice and clean.

I'm happy to know Eggsellent Cafe is right around the corner from me! There was only one server on and our food came out quick Service was good Food was yummy Coffee? Fresh! We'll be back.

We have been curious to visit and glad we gave it a whirl. It was not very busy on a late Saturday morning. Our server Max was very kind and attentive. She deserves 5 stars. The food met our expectations. Prices were pretty fair for portions & food was served hot. There's a lot of space for large parties to eat together. The decor resembles the prior establishment but we didn't mind. Better coffee options in the area but wouldn't stop us from returning here for breakfast. Glad to have this local option in the neighborhood.

We had breakfast in the hotel and our server was helpful, friendly and had a sense of humor. We visited the pool and were surprised that it was not heated. The hotel gym was decent, could use a better (newer) bench but it had the basics. Our room had everything we needed (the bed was quite soft) and a great view of the eye across the street. My first shower would only get warm and not hot so maintenance had to come up and show me a safely button to push which allows the water to get hot. This was after texting with hotel staff (a very helpful option) but surprising that they didn't just tell me about the button and chose to send maintenance. We were in room 852 on the North side of the hotel and overlooking the eye. We came back from dinner around 10 on Saturday night and were kept awake until about 1:30am. I guess Main St is where people choose to drive their cars with the music so loud it feels as though it's in your hotel room. The motorcycles and cars also like to rev their engines.... A LOT. The windows appear to be single pane and they don't keep any noise out at all. Due to the noise level, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.  Being on the 8th floor and feeling like I was in the cars that were driving on main st and blaring music 2 nights in a row was incredibly disappointing.  If this was a 2 star hotel, okay.  That is not the case.  Upgrade the windows to double or triple pane.  Your location is great, service was friendly and efficient, but one generally wants to sleep at night and that is not possible at your hotel. We even asked the front desk on our second morning if we should change rooms and were told Sunday nights were quiet. I should have listened to my gut as our Sunday night was not quiet. Although the amount of cars & motorcycles wasn't as much as on Saturday, we still heard several cars with music blaring or motorcycles reviving their engines until around 1am. This was the beginning of a long overdue vacation and birthday celebration and it did not get started on the right foot unfortunately.

Rebecca the hostess was awesome and introducing us to everything and making sure we got set up for our night. The food and drinks were excellent! Highly recommend making a reservation for a table! It's $15 a person for 90 minutes...we had 11 people and time flew, but it was the perfect amount of game play time for all of us! The entire vibe of this place was so cool! We were amazed at how much space there is. The back room got pretty tight when we first arrived since there was a group of 12 there already....they had taken over the tall tables in the middle and the couch. We slowly spread out and then their time was up about half way through ours so it wasn't as cramped. But it's still such an awesome set up we couldn't stop talking about it the next day!

Best decision ever From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with so much enthusiasm and seated right away by the window --although I was a little unsure about staying there since it was already cold outside . While we were deciding, someone immediately checked in to make sure we were okay (love that ). That's when the very kind gentleman--who we later learned was Victor Hugo--let us know another table would be clearing shortly so we could move. Top-tier service already For appetizers, we went with the brisket balls, duck taquitos, and a pitcher of pineapple mimosas . Let me tell you... those duck taquitos were SO good That crema?? EVERYTHING. The brisket balls instantly took us back to Turks & Caicos --IFYKYK We also tried the quesadilla, and once again--another hit . So good that we ended up ordering another round of the brisket balls because why not? Shoutout to Sayde and Maria, who were absolutely amazing . Tequila shots were flowing , and we were convinced to order pecan pie with ice cream for dessert . I do wish the dessert had been complimentary, and the pie would've been a solid 10/10 if it were warm--but still appreciated. Takeaway: Bucket & Rope does food right , and Victor and his team truly make you feel like family . We'll definitely be back--especially for those half-price apps during the week

We started off with a pitcher of mimosa and the duck taquitos. I'm usually not a fan duck however I was told to give it a try. If you hadn't told me it was duck, I probably would have thought it was chicken. The mimosa was a build your own, it came with 3 juices - orange, pineapple and cranberry - and you got to pour as much or as little juice as you wanted. Between the two of us, we each got about 3 glasses. I got the French toast, which tasted like a deep fried donut, in a good way. The outside was crunchy, the inside still had the pillow custard texture. However in my opinion it needed more of the apple pecan slaw especially if you weren't trying to drown them in syrup. My friend had the chilequillas which she really enjoyed but did mention a few times that it was a little spicy. We ended the meal with dessert which was rich and luscious but oh so delicious. It was a cholesterol mouse that was covered in a hazelnut chocolate shell with a raspberry sauce. Overall a great time was had & I'd gladly go back to try more.
