You have to work hard for a 5-star review and Eggs Up Grill did just that! They delivered on service and food. We arrived as a party of 4 mid-morning Sunday. Although the place was quite full, we were seated after just a few minutes wait. Our server, Rianna, quickly came to take our drink orders. She patiently took our food orders and worked with us to accommodate dietary needs. She was upfront with us about any additional charges due to changes. That may seem like a small thing, but it is frustrating when you get an extra charge on your bill that you aren't expecting. Our food came quickly. Everything was delicious! Since I made substitutions to my Southern Bowl, they accidentally left off the grits. But Rianna quickly put in order in for a side of grits to be brought to me. The staff has mastered the art of checking in just the right amount of times without being annoying. Everyone we spoke to was personable and pleasant, despite the busy crowd. We just bought a house in Myrtle Beach and breakfast is very important to me! Well, we found our favorite breakfast place hands-down! I believe this is the second or third Eggs Up we have been to and all of them are awesome! They have a wonderful menu, the restaurant is bright and clean and the staff are so friendly! The portion was well balanced and the crab cakes had good lump of crab meat which was surprisingly based on the size. Everything we ate here was just ok. Not special. But good quality. I liked the decor and thought the prices were good. service was good but not special. We did have one complaint; our granddaughter didn't like what she ordered so we sent it back instead they brought her something else. And charged us for both breakfasts. This was very tasty! The food was plentiful with lots of choices. I had the Banana Foster French toast.; it was very sweet but delicious. I also had the biscuits and gravy. I loved the biscuits because they had baked them and then they lightly grilled them so they were crispy and fluffy. The serve was fast and friendly. We able to sit a family of six comfortably. We went on a Thursday and the place was full by 11:30 am but the place was completely comfortable. The only downside was that there is only one restroom for all. read more

Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs this morning and when the plate arrived, it looked like they put the wrong chicken fried steak on my plate. Based on it's size, I could have made a Biscuit and Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich as it was only that big. So looking at what arrived, vs the price they charge, I'll be ordering something else the next time I stop in for some eggs. We came on our first day and the service and staff were super amazing. There was no wait and our food came out so fast. The staff always came and refilled our drinks without us even having to ask. Went there for Mothers Day. Had a short wait which was fine. The staff were very friendly and the service was good but a few of the plates were not up to the level they should have been when compared at ANY other breakfast restaurant. French toast with sausage links for example, came out with 2 French Toast slices, very thin, not a lot of flavor and 2 small, over cooked sausage links. Nothing else. For the price paid a bit more was expected. For example you can go to Johnny D's and get for one, a better presented plate but with more to it that tastes great, all for the same price. The general consensus was we would not return. There are too many other great breakfast choices in the area. I understand this particular Eggs Up location is brand new and it is a franchise, so perhaps it is going through learning pains and will get better. read more
