Service and food here is great. My only complaint is be prepared to add salt and pepper to your grits. This applies to grits bowls such as the shrimp and grits bowl. read more

I ended up eating my breakfast before I took any pictures. I am giving three stars for the start until I visit them again. I have no complaints but do look for consistency when giving 4 or 5 stars. Finally tried this place and honestly loved it. I had the Breakfast Burrito which was huge; I had to take half of it home to finish later. I went in intending to get the Breakfast Wrap but messed up the name when ordering, so I was surprised by the meal when it arrived but happy with what I ended up with. The grits are amazing, very buttery and I didn't even need to season them or add cheese - much better than IHOP's grits. Our waitress was quick to serve us and the food was prepared fast. After leaving my initial review, a member of the management team contacted me and apologized for the mix-up. Apparently they recently changed some things in their computer but didn't address those changes on the menu. While I appreciate the apology, a situation like this really should never happen if you truly care about your customers experience. Be that as it may, they made things right in the end, so kudos to them. Original review: 1 Star Stopped in for a late lunch at 1pm. I was craving an omelette and I have never had a bad one here. I sat at the bar and ordered the Greek omelet with fruit and rye toast. As always, the food was good. However, they slipped in a little $2 upcharge for the fruit cup. I asked the server if that was indicated on the menu and she said "yes" (I didn't remember seeing that, or I would NOT have ordered the fruit). To put my mind at ease, I asked to see a menu to confirm. Surprise, surprise, it's not on the menu. There's absolutely nothing, nothing I hate more than secret upcharges for fruit cup or bbq sauce or whatever. I can deal with crappy food or service, because those are usually more indicative of a singular, personal incompetence. But issues like this go straight to the management. I didn't feel like arguing with the server because she was probably 20 years old and very nice. It's not her fault. I simply asked her to inform management. Still not very happy about it. read more

Susan and I decided to splurge and go out for breakfast. When we got there it was packed. But even so the wait was only a few minutes(5to10) I was forced to have a heart healthy breakfast. Veggie omelette. Coffee. Grits with cheddar and some raisin toast. Susan had the goodness gracious, egg whites omelette with spinach and feta. My Greek goddess! Chatara was our waitress. Ordered online because I couldn't get through on the phone. 15 minutes later, I get an email that says my order couldn't be processed. Not a great start. Called the restaurant to see if the order really didn't go through. Finally got a person, but she put me on hold for probably 5 minutes before coming back to confirm my order wasn't there. Ordered over the phone - 2 avocado toasts, 1 blueberry muffin, 2 iced coffees. Simple order. My grandmother went to pick it up. When she got home, we realized they forgot the iced coffees. Now, usually I'd be willing to overlook these little things because they're busy and stuff happens. But let me talk about this avocado toast for a second. One piece of bread (like... regular sandwich bread) cut in half with the tiniest amount of avocado spread on top. I have actually never seen a sadder piece of avocado toast in my life! The two fried eggs were at least cooked well. My grandmother also liked her blueberry muffin. I feel like three stars is generous, but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that maybe their other menu items are better. I hope the restaurant reads this feedback and improves the avocado toast! read more

3 of my items came out with hair in them . From eggs to potato's to my syrup . I went to go get the items taken off and while I was waiting their kitchen thought it was funny to make fun of my school uniform and very immaturely stated " oh ECPI is getting us in trouble ". The food is excellent! I ordered an omelette and sausage to go. The container was the best I have ever seen but the plastic fork was just slightly less flexible than a cooked spaghetti noodle! We had the breakfast classic and eggs Benedict. Both very good. The fresh fruit was awesome. It had several different freshly cut fruits in it. Coffee and hot tea were plentiful and the serviced sent us on our way with to go cups. read more

First time visiting Eggs Up Grill. We had the french toast and pancakes. Absolutely loved the food. The establishment is in a strip mall, however with the diner atmosphere inside... you forget the strip mall. Staff was super friendly, I think I have found a solid breakfast place. read more

Don't have many positive comments, other than the coffee was good. Although I wish they had almond milk. The strawberry lemonade spritzer just tastes like soda water. I ordered shrimp and grits and it was not good at all. We had to ask for a water 4 times. I went to Taco Bell right after and got myself a better meal. read more

I'm from Pennsylvania and the small town I live in there is a bunch of breakfast diners. I was lucky enough to come across this cute breakfast diner when I moved down here! The taste of food was very good, but if you have an allergy or intolerance to gluten please do not go there. Unfortunately, we ordered the gluten friendly option of their bowls, even specified that we were gluten intolerant and said strong allergy and yet our bowl had a chunk of biscuit in it. Their manager came and apologized, but if you are like me and want to avoid trips to the hospital then I would avoid this place. read more

Service is sometimes good, sometimes not. Sometimes the cooks forget ingredients and I have to ask for them (where is the bacon for the salad?). The place is usually busy, even too busy. But the food is really fresh and really good. And the prices are reasonable. Since every restaurant has issues with staffing, it's hard to hold that against this one.
