My first experience at Eggs Up Grill was excellent! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The decorations are bright and modern, with a really strong diner feel. Obviously it's a diner. It was well staffed on a Sunday brunch visit and we were able to be seated within 5 minutes. As a part of 5 that's a big deal in this area. The pricing is right on par with most brunch spots in North Austin and the west suburbs. They serve Coke and designer coffees here. We all got 5 different plates and everything arrived quickly and was fresh. I can personally recommend the Churro French toast and the family recommends the chorizo skillet, pancakes and chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles come with a distinct spicy syrup. That may not be for everyone but everything was great. I would definitely recommend this spot and will be back soon! read more

All the staff seemed like they truly enjoy working there! I had the Classic Eggs Benny with home fries and it was delicious! I've ordered this same meal at other places several times and I will say that Eggs Up Grill has perfected their home fries! Even the bigger chunks of potatoes were thoroughly cooked through which is not very common! I also had the cinnamon roll latte and it was delicious as well! My husband had the Philly cheesesteak omelet and he said he had absolutely no complaints! The kids meals came out about 5 minutes before the rest of our food, which parents appreciate so much! We were able to get them settled and started eating before our food came so we could actually enjoy our food while it's hot! The couple of times I've been there, the food was excellent...When ordering coffee( and a vast variety of foo-foo coffees) remember they have 2 different choices!! We went there for Sat brunch. The ambiance was very nice, clean, and upbeat! It was decently busy, but shouldn't have been unmanageable. The service was lacking in efficiency, but excelled in friendliness! We were able to be seated right away, but it would have been great if the hostess would have provided us with our silverware and taken our drink order if a server wasn't available right away. We were not acknowledged by any server, and had to flag someone down to request our beverages. We saw servers scrambling back and forth with drinks and food items. There seemed to be enough people working there, and they were all extremely friendly, but not with the most efficient use of their time. The food finally arrived, and was delicious! This was a highly rated breakfast&lunch location, which is why we chose to visit it. Unfortunately, out visit was disappointing. The volume of customers was actually encouraging to me, but after we were seated, it became clear that management was not adequately staffing the restaurant. Our server was overworked, and while our Sprite and water came quickly, she told us, when she brought me my lukewarm latte, that she had been unable to locate it - because another server had placed it above the espresso machine, presumably because they needed to make a beverage for another customer. The food, when we were able to eat it, was similarly lukewarm at best. We weren't initially able to do so, because we weren't provided with silverware - again, an oversight because the restaurant was understaffed. Unasked, the manager sent out a plate of (lukewarm) french toast because the white toast wasn't ready, but when the toast came out, even it was cool, unable to melt the butter which was sitting on the table. The flavors, overall, seemed acceptable, but the temperatures made it unappealing. (I'm a veteran, so I tend to eat unappealing food for sustenance, especially when the main issue is the level of service available, making it unlikely to improve by complaining.) When we were initially reading the menu, my wife expressed interest in visiting again for the lunch/sandwich options. By the time we left, she was no longer interested in doing that. read more

What lowered the rating was the service When I walked in I wasn't greeted let's put it that way by someone I thought was a host who took some menus and I followed this gentleman to a table in the corner. My server wasn't that much better rushing my order along and no friendly chit chat or suggestions. I overheard him later saying he was tired. Things guests should never hear !!! Also the manager / owner was on his cell most of the time not a good look. When I see Nick from Nicks he is out visiting every table shaking hands and helping out. He did have to sit a few guests because his staff failed to do so. He then reprimanded them Not a good atmosphere for a oatron. When I left there was no thankyou for coming, NOTHING. In all the restaurants I have worked at managers servers hosts and bussers are all expected to make some form of farewell. After my previous visit they really fell from grace. so I want to start off by saying I travel to different cities and try different foods. I was visiting the cedar park area this day and decided to stop by this particular place. what sucks is that I walk in and people judge quick & you can VISIBLY see they're system on how they are going to serve you and I hate it. It's the "Gang stalking" looks they give you lmao. my server that day kept making smart remarks walking past and saying side things to his coworkers and boss. he checked on me once and the manager played like it was an issue to him when in reality the manager is just as predudice and gave me the same energy. they're whole performance was so fake and uncomfortable towards my way. I don't know if you guys are only use to hispanics and whites visiting the restaurant but I hated my experience and the uncomfortable feeling both men gave me as if I didn't belong. even the cooks would stare at you talking in Spanish like they never seen an African American sit and eat. lol it's 2026 !!! I wont even get into what's going on in the world and then comparing it to what I've observed. all behaviors. Front kitchen needs better customer service and consideration for ALL customers and to learn to be respectful ! respect is so basic with customer service yet it lacked so bad. people are from ALL over with different backgrounds, different cultures. Service was great. Molly has a wonderful personality. Ambience is typical of a breakfast place . It was clean as were the bathrooms. The downfall was the food. Pancakes were dry and butter was those small packs you open. Would have preferred soft butter for pancakes. Toast was not really toasted, but my husband was more interested in good pancakes anyway so he didn't ask for it to be redone. Bacon was good. Don't order medium eggs. They would be runny. Well Cedar Park residence have discovered Eggs Up Grill. This is first time since opening that we've had a wait, 5 minutes on Sunday morning is perfect. As for the food, it's really good. The menu would be complete if they served the great choice of Pork Chops and Eggs! Really really surprised they Don't have this. But they do have several Benedict choices, and the sauce is definitely home made and tasty. So make your weekend and your morning here. Just Not at 8:30 to 9 am when we arrive! We had a dog and had to eat outside, 35 minutes after checking in, we got a menu and ordered. 55 miutes later, my daughter went in to check on our order as it was now over 90 degrees outside. The manager came up to my daughter and because she thought that my daughter was trying to pick up a To Go order, told her that she was prioritizing To Go orders over dine in orders. When the manager found out that we were a dine in order, she told my daughter that we were the 5th order in the queue and would have to keep waiting.
