Not sure if they think it is okay to lack customer service it's it a delivery since they won't see the customer in person or what the problem is. Anytime you go in person they offer the regular and the coconut syrup unless they are actually out of it. Every time I order delivery they say they are out of coconut syrup so this time I called before placing the order to make sure they had coconut syrup which they do. They told my delivery driver they were out of coconut syrup even though I know that's not true. The location is busy, the service was good, and the food was 8 out of 10 (in my opinion) I had my first visit on a Saturday morning, so breakfast is the meal being reviewed. We arrived and had about a 15 minute wait to be seated. Parking was ample which was a surprise seeing as how the restaurant was very busy. Once seated it took only a few minutes to be greeted my our server with utensils and water. He gave us just enough time to look over the menu and came back to take our order. He was knowledgable of the menu and was able to answer our questions regarding the dishes we wanted. I ordered the eggs benedict with coffee and my husband ordered the breakfast burrito with soda. Food came out quick and was nice and hot! My eggs benedict was delicious. Eggs poached to perfection, English muffin toasted just right, ham just the right flavor of sweet and salty and the hollandaise sauce was creamy and delicious. I would definitely come back again for this dish. Not mention you get a choice of pancakes, rice, or potatoes with your meal. My husband's breakfast burrito came with a choice of meat, bacon, ham, or portuguese sausage and included eggs, potatoe and green onion. He opted for the bacon and omitted the green onion. I thought the burrito was a little too potatoe heavy and didn't have much flavor. About the coffee...yes please! It was hot, strong, and unlimited refills. A definite plus. Wife and I came here the morning after we got married which was 2014 and not sure why took us so long to come back which was today, but with a two year pandemic I'm going to go with that...lol... Our go to is the Hawaiian style local Moco hers with white rice and mines with fried rice. Always so delicious! We also tried the malasada pancakes with cinnamon and sugar. We came here because pretty much everyone and their momma (tourists and locals) told us that we had to eat here. We were told that people line up at 4/5am to eat here (although I think that may have been in reference to the Waikiki location). This might be best location because there wasn't much of a line. We had about a five-minute (if that) wait to grab a couple of stools at the bar. The food was decent, but it was not out of the world amazing. I honestly didn't see all the hype, but that's just me (perhaps, I was missing something). I will say that the staff was absolutely amazing. We really did not need to wait for anything. Also, our waitress pretty much explained all of the restaurant deals. I went for an omelette with a stack of pancakes and had no major complaints. We were offered a free Bogo menu item from Fivestars. Buy any one entree and get the second one free. We ordered their delicious Fresh Furikake Ahi and Eggs. I ordered the Pancakes as my side dish. All for $15. The wasabi dip was very creamy and whipped. My fresh Furikake Ahi had a macadamia nut sprinkled on top along with the Furikake. When the Ahi is in your mouth it just melts in. Came to Eggs N Things at the recommendation of the restaurant's owners- they recommended we try the breakfast burrito. The restaurant itself was super cute, the staff were friendly and quick, and the breakfast burrito was delicious. You get to pick type of meat and cheese (I got Ham and a pepper jack). I do not recommend it the last time I was there, I ordered something that looked like it was cooked for somebody else and they didn't want it and they reheated it for me. This location is much bigger than the ones in Waikiki. I happen to go when it was not crowded. There was only one person ahead of us. The food and service our great, The servers don't seem to be as overwhelmed as the Waikiki locations. Having a parking lot makes it much more convenient if you have a car. I took my boys to Eggs' 'n Things for the first time and we loved it! We went there around 11am and I asked my son to check-in. He was able to do it using the ipad without having a problem. The estimated waiting time was about 18-30 minutes but we were called in earlier. I personally love the tables arrangement. It was nicely spaced and the seats are comfortable. It was not too quiet which is perfect for us because my son who has special needs may make some loud sounds occasionally. We ordered smoked salmon egg benedict with potatoes, Macadamia nut french toast and Nutella pancake. The salmon was a bit too salty in my opinion but we finished them anyway. Really ono! The french toast was amazing and the one thing that I Iike is that it is not too sweet. The coffee and hot chocolate were good too. Prices are super reasonable. I used yelp and joined their waiting time list. By the time we left the airport parking lot and got there it was time to check in (25 minutes) and then we waited maybe 10 more minutes to be seated. The restaurant is next to the Ala Moana Shopping Mall. The waiter was good. We waited around 15 minutes for the food. This convenient location of Eggs 'n Things is near the old Payless Shoesource right outside Ala Moana Shopping Center with lots of free parking. It was very quiet since we arrived around 7:45 AM on a Tuesday so there were only 3 other tables, but got busier when we left around 8:45, 9 o'clock. The menu is filled with a huge variety of items that would satisfy any appetite or preference (vegan, gluten, free). The staff was very friendly and attentive to all our needs constantly checking if we were doing OK and if we needed refills of bottomless ice tea or coffee. My entrée was the boneless kalbi rib with two eggs, scrambled and pancakes. I could have chosen rice or potatoes. The kalbi flavor was excellent and the meat was not tough at all. The scrambled eggs looked very fancy, and tasted delicious. And last, but certainly not least, the buttermilk pancakes were amazing with maple & coconut syrup! FYI - they also have guava syrup! The 2nd entrée we ordered was the Hawaiian style loco moco with 2 eggs, we chose over medium, and choice of rice, potatoes, or buttermilk pancakes... In this case, we ordered white rice, since there was a brown gravy to die for! Even though you can't see in my picture, the homemade hamburger patty and brown gravy was topped with diced Portuguese, sausage, onions, and mushrooms! Winner, winner, chicken, dinner! Early morning in Hawaii and we wanted to go see the Manoa falls, but the roads were closed and it was raining. So we decided to go eat instead. It was a struggle to find an early morning spot. We decided to come here (after a quick stop at Leonards). I browsed through the Yelp food photos and saw the corned beef hash which is one of my favorite breakfast dish. When we got here, I was torn between a loco moco and the corned beef hash omelette. Ahhhh! So hard to choose! So I decided to ask our server which one would he choose..."loco moco or corned beef hash" both my favorite! He offered the best of both worlds!!! Corned beef hash loco moco which was not on menu. Went for breakfast after the 4.5 mile Heart Walk. I had the Portuguese Sausage Benedict on a taro roll with rice. The taro roll was delicious but larger than the sausage & egg; but it's a taro roll so who cares. The eggs looked like local farm eggs and were cooked perfectly. Hollandaise had good flavor but it was broken, it didn't have the silky creaminess you expect from a hollandaise sauce. The highlight for was the coffee. Eggs n' Things is an okay spot for a simple breakfast near Ala Moana. We stopped in on a Saturday morning, and after a short wait, were seated near the back. After a mimosa and a Bloody Mary, I received our breakfast orders. My breakfast burrito was actually quite good, served alongside salsa and guacamole. Unfortunately, an order mix up led to her being unable to eat her omelette due to the addition of bacon, but the side order of pancakes were admittedly delicious. Service was a tad slow and sporadic, but overall friendly and apologetic for the mistakes. Maybe not the best breakfast in Honolulu, but a quick spot for a bite to eat if in the area. read more

Had a take out order, the food tasted like bleach, could not get in touch with a manager as their phone system wasn't working-at first it didn't even ring, then when it did, I dialed the extension for a manager but that said "this extension is not assigned". Had to call a different store to get in touch with that manager and all they did was say that they'll text the other store to tell them to answer the phone. Update: I ended up in the ER. They diagnosed me with acute food poisoning. No response from Eggs N Things. Horrible company. Update 2: they like gaslighting. Wish yelp would let you reply to their replies. I'm not going to engage in this conversation-we told them OVER AND OVER AGAIN THAT WE HAD THE FOOD AND WE WANTED TO RETURN IT BUT THE MANAGER ON DUTY LAUGHED AT US AND REFUSED IT. IT WAS NOT US WHO DIDN'T WANT TO BRING THE FOOD BACK. So tell me, just how do you take these accusations seriously when your own manager refused to take the food back and all you refused a refund and offered 20% off-as if we would even consider eating at this place ever again? And I get this gaslighting reply about two weeks later??? ONCE AGAIN, YOUR MANAGER REFUSED WHEN WE WERE GOING TO RETURN THE FOOD. Update 3: they told the BBB that this review was is false and that it is a "low blow". I have the urgent care report that diagnoses it as acute food poisoning. I can't believe the level of unprofessionalism that is happening here. They also are now putting words into our mouths. See attached pic. We never threatened them. The Loco Moco was okay but there was an oddly small amount of rice in it compared to how places here normaly serve. Honestly, Zippy's Loco Moco has more burger, rice, and gravy and was lowkey better tasting. Probably similar price too. The crepes were a bit of a disappointment as a portion of the crepe batter seemed to have separated, causing one section of the crepes to become scrambled eggs. This can happen, it was just a shame it did. The workers were perfect and on the ball however. Great service as always ! I probably wouldn't order the food I got again but it's not the restaurant's fault. I just think I'm looking for a bit more in my meals. read more

Last year my other sister had an Easter breakfast that Eggs n Things catered and she's been wanting to go there ever since. Eggs n Things is located outside of Ala Moana. It's in a small complex that has Nijiya Market, Payless Shoe, Taiyo ramen, and Cho Dang. They were surprisingly very very busy. We just thought that we would go there and get seated. Nope, there were tons of tourists out there waiting for a seat. The hostess said that it would be a 30 minute wait. I winced when she said that but we said okay because my mom wanted to eat there. We got in a little before they said and were serviced right away. They have a kids menu but the lunch isn't served until 12 pm. My daughter isn't into so much breakfast foods so I wanted to order off the Keiki lunch menu for her. The waiter said I had to wait 4 minutes which I was okay with. When it came time to order, I got my daughter the sautéed ahi with rice, my mom got corned beef hash with eggs, my sister got corn chowder bread bowl, my other sister got smoked salmon Benedict, and I got the Hawaiian loco moco. They have about four different loco moco on their menu but the waiter recommended the Hawaiian loco moco and said that it's their most popular one. The Hawaiian loco moco is a hamburger patty, seared onions, and Portuguese sausage topped with brown gravy and eggs. My loco moco was okay. I think next time I'd like to try their other loco moco. It's called the Paniolo and it's different because the patty is covered with a white gravy instead of brown. I think I prefer my loco moco without the Portuguese sausage. I think I still prefer BCD loco moco. I was able to taste some of my other family members meals. The smoked salmon Benedict was pretty good. I told my sister that it tasted healthy. But I guess anything is healthier than eating what I ate. My mom also has some left over pancakes from her corned beef hash meal. Those were really good. Very fluffy and tasty. I tried getting a taste of my other sister's soup but by the time I tried to dip my spoon in her bread bowl, everything was gone. I guess that was good. I'd definitely try this place again. They have a lot of different choices for food. On my next visit I'd like to have their pancakes and their paniolo loco moco. read more

I would have to say the burger in the loco moco was not home made and it was burnt but other than that it was good. The other 2 omelettes were good too. Had a random day off and got super lucky timing wise. I heard the wait times were crazy, so i signed up on the yelp waitlist when i was 10 minutes away and managed to be seated within 10 minutes of checking in. The waitress was so nice and really made our first time experience a great one. They were super generous with coffee refills and checked in to make sure everything was okay. I was drawn to all the pictures everyone took and finally settled on French Toast with Strawberries & Nutella. I was not disappointed. The French toast was great but the amount of strawberry and nutella were perfect, didn't even need syrup. The waffle from the chicken and waffle was so soft and fluffy.
