I've always driven past Eggmania whenever I was headed to Edison but never thought much of it because I assumed everything was made with egg. My fiancé is a huge fan of EggMania so I decided to go with him. We got an egg dish, a paneer dish, and a drink. Everything was amazing! I usually don't eat eggs but I think I liked the egg lava fry more than the paneer sandwich! I loved all the sauces with the white bread they offered on the side. I also recommend getting the cold coco. I've never had it before but it's a really popular drink in India. It's like hot chocolate but thicker and made cold with a lot of chocolate chunks in it. I was invited to give this restaurant a try, and I was excited. When I arrived I parked in the lot nearby. I walked in and was greeted and sat at a booth. Edfan was my server, and he was awesome. I started with an Indian drink, bebo ka nasha and it was sweet and tasty. I then got a bunch of different items. I got the chicken kheermu roll, butter chicken, samosa grill sandwich, and sheekh keibab. My favorite was the samosa grill sandwich. It was seasoned well and had a kick to it which I loved. Excellent food! I was very pleasantly surprised. Each one of the three dishes, anda lahori, lasooni anda and tawa butter fry chicken were fantastic! The best one was anda lahori with a perfect balance of taste. Highly recommended. Service can be a bit faster but the new revamped place was nice to sit in too. One suggestion will be to change the bread type to "split quarter pounders" which will grab the essence of the egg based dishes evoking a real India street food vibe. Yes I know you end up paying more when ordering through a delivery app . But I did the math based on their menu my total would of still been $23 I ordered and went to pickup myself . I've always wanted to this place be we usually eat at red chutney a couple stores down. My colleague and I came here to finally try this place. He said he's tried the other location in Jersey City and liked it. We shared the boil fry, the Lansa fry, the Australian fry, and the paneer briyani. We also shared the butter toast and a garlic and regular nann. He insisted in getting mango lassi as almost everything is spicy. All the dishes we ordered tasted so good after the first few bites that I couldn't stop saying this is eggcellent. Ordering the naans was a good idea. The toast was just what with the dishes. Spicy is a keyword here. I had to get up twice to go to bathroom to blow my nose and to get more napkins on the way back to our table. It's the type of spiciness that after 3 pills of melatonin I can't sleep and on the throne writing this review. I would definitely come back for a cheat meal. I went with the egg bhurji to go which is a basically an Indian scrambled eggs with egg and tomato and various Indian spices. The egg bhurji comes with three pieces of buttered toast. It was great and It did have a little kick to it but it was still tasty. My 2 year old nephew also really liked it even though he found it spicy so I guess that's a plus too. They have only one response your order is getting ready even after 30 mins. Mmm... eggs. EggMania is a successful chain (currently with 2 locations, the other in Jersey City) that offers local Gujarati street food dishes. The owners lamented that many of the dishes and recipes they loved couldn't be found in restaurants abroad, so they opened one themselves. The signage and interior is a bit modern as far as Oak Tree Road goes, with a semi-stylish interior, decked with egg artwork on the walls, offering a full bar, and legible menu. As the name implies, they are all about eggs. Hardboiled eggs pan fried in butter and spices, egg curries, egg biryanis, etc. They also recently added a few meat kabobs to the menu, and most egg dishes have a paneer equivalent to order. I went with the boil fry (hardboiled eggs pan fried in butter, garlic curry leaves, chili powder, garam masala, etc). and a curry, the surti gotala (spicy), which is in a rich, but semi-oily, tomato, ginger, garlic sauce, chili, which comes with buttered toast to dip. It was a bit of an egg overload for one person. But, both were very tasty and I'm looking to return to try more on their menu. read more

These are like deviled masala eggs. The were delicious and spicy. Loved the combo of the masala flavor. For entrees we got paneer lahori, paneer volcano biryani and a paneer cheese sandwich. The paneer lahori war my favorite. The gravy was creamy and decadent. So good! The biryani has a gravy in the middle like a volcano and you mix it all together. Flavors were great. Service was casual and waiters were pleasant, I felt like I should've checked out the menu a bit ahead of time in order to make sure I weighed my options a bit more appropriately. Ended up ordering the Volcano Biryani but wasn't entirely satisfied with what I got in the end. I am a big fan of spicy food but felt as if the dish relied too heavily on heat, and the flavors didn't come together as well as I had hoped. Their sandwiches looked promising, however, and I will give this place another visit in the near future when I find myself in the area again.
