My friends wanted to check out this place while in the area, but I've visited the one in Downtown once. Pros: - Steaming hot food. My hashbrowns? Crispy. My chicken? Crispy. My egg? Runny. All the things you want in an awesome chicken breakfast sandwich. - The place is small..nothing fancy to report. It's more of a quick bite and go situation. - Nothing to note on service. I literally ordered, paid and grabbed a spot. Cons: - Located next to Breakfast Republic so this corner area is definitely a tight squeeze. They definitely know how to fry things well.

Straight forward breakfast sandwiches on brioche buns. Simple menu with HUGE sandwiches. Cute cargo container structure, a perfect place for a takeaway order to eat overlooking the ocean. I got a vanilla cold brew and the California breakfast sandwich. The sandwich portions are huge, so make sure to come hungry. I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 because I felt that the coffee was a little burnt tasting and the sandwich had too many flavors going on between the aioli, jam, cheese, egg, and meat.. it was good but maybe less is more in terms of toppings

One word, WOW! I've walked by Eggies for years on my way to the beach. It's right in front of a breakfast place. This time I was with my daughter and on the way back she suggested we give it a try. How good can a breakfast sandwich be anyway! The answer, that good. It's a meal in a sandy! from the perfectly cooked bun to a nice gel like yoke to the perfect maple sausage patty. (Oh and I love their picante hot sauce.) We ate at the counter but next time, I'm grabbing and walking to Glazed for a dark coffee and perfect view.

How could you not love this place?!? A quick brekkie in a jar. Easy to eat on the run and so delish! I've yet to try anything else but I'm Sure it's just as good. Service is always spot on.

Happened upon Eggies randomly while wandering around Pacific Beach because if you blink you might just miss it if you don't know it's there. I decided to go all in and try their main four: the Eggies Classic, What Came First, the BLT, and the California. I wasn't sure what to expect, but by the end I was absolutely mind-blown. These were some seriously fantastic sandwiches. For me, the standout was the Eggies Classic, the combination an over medium egg, eggcellent sauce, maple-sage breakfast sausage, applewood smoked bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese on a Brioche Bun was a full-on party in my mouth. My least favorite, though still tasty, was the California; the warm arugula, which I normally love, felt a bit out of sync with the eggs and other ingredients. And on What Came First, I just wished the chicken had a bit more crisp. Overall, an awesome visit the service was fast and friends and I'd highly recommend to anyone who loves a killer breakfast sandwich.

The Eggies Classic was 5 stars! Perfect combination with an over medium egg, bacon and sausage. The sauce paired well and had a hint of spice. Service was good and some seating outside. Service was on point and definitely returning again when I'm craving a breakfast sandwich.

Got the Eggies Classic and it was delicious! Consisted of a brioche bun, medium egg, chipotle sauce, sausage and bacon. Order at the register and wait for your order to be called. Great option for a quick and easy breakfast!

I usually don't like breakfast sandwiches, but oh my GOSH did this one change my mind. I got the california sandwich. It had the most delicious sauce, was a great portion, affordable, and didn't feel greasy (like most breakfast sandwiches do in my opinion). The staff was lovely and really speedy with our order. I will 10000% be going back.

The good: I got the bacon sandwich, the classic sandwich, freshly squeezed Orange juice, salted caramel cold brew, churros and vanilla cold foam brew. I loved how the coffees had a single square giant ice cube made of coffee! Churros were my favorite food item from here. My food was all ready in a jiffy. Their packaging is premium. I liked the fun egg stickers, the cartoon egg bag and the mason jar that the hash came in. The bad: The hash was just wet and very strong in rosemary flavor. I preferred the mashed potato egg jars at other egg breakfast spots. The caramel churro dip didn't add much to the dish. The sandwiches were ok but were a bit too much for me. I thought the lettuce and breakfast sausage didn't go well together though I generally like veggies in every sandwich. The interesting: Their store is in a shipping container.

First time trying eggies. This is located next to republic breakfast. It's a little pop up. Parking is tough especially on weekends. There are only a couple tables. Close walk to the beach. My cousin recommended the California sandwich. It comes with avocado and arugula. The aioli was really good. They offer homemade ketchup and hot sauce but it's so good you won't need it. P.s. it can get messy eating the sandwich.

What Came First?

I don't know why this place doesn't have a solid 5 stars. The fried chicken egg sandwich was insaneeee. Will def be coming back.

Made a quick pit stop for some breakfast. This was my first time trying eggies in San Diego and it was absolutely fantastic. The flavor was full and savory. It was the perfect "hangover" sandwich in my opinion. It was layered with a fried egg, avocado, bacon, a turkey sausage patty, arugula with an aioli dressing. This held me over for the whole day! Just to let you know, it is a stationary food truck vibe, with a few spots to sit.

Food: - Flat iron steak: delicious and super tendy with a nice crust. Came with an arugula salad - Fish of the day: today was rock fish with a creamy panang/thai sauce and it was DELICIOUS - Duck: my table's favorite dish. You can make your own tiny tacos and the macha chili was seriously the best thing ever - French fries: nice horsestring fries, cant go wrong - Tuna crudo: super light and citrusy and flavorful, but only like 5-6 pieces - Chicken skewers: this honestly fell really flat. Would not recommend, i'd say it's the worst thing on the menu and surprisingly fell short. Doesnt feel like it belongs on the menu. - Brussel Sprouts: really good and unique with a peanut butter sauce - Mac and cheese: yummy but nothing special Overall was a great experience but I'd probably only come here on special occasions. Their drinks were also fantastic - the cantaloupe was super tasty. Shoutout Ola for being the best waiter!

Something about it spiritually makes me feel a bit grounded into history. I love the fresh rosemary they place in the dish as well. Such a unique touch of earthy-love I'm just glad it wasn't a hour wait or longer how I was repeatedly warned. We got seats right away. Could've been due to the construction on the street near by. I'll definitely return whenever I'm in town.

Thank goodness there was room too, because wow oh wow. It has been three weeks and we keep talking about that happy hour. I ordered the Kiwilango slider + fries, my mom got the HH fish & chips, and my dad got the wagyu smash slider. Plus $10 beers, of course. Everything came out quickly and beautifully portioned, which made getting dessert (magpie ice cream cake) a no brainer. Delicious!!! I didn't stray into their full Kiwi-based dinner menu, but I can fully vouch for their happy hour, the cozy, charming vibes, kind and attentive servers, and flavorful dishes.
