Egg-sactly what I needed. I was craving a good fluffy egg sandwich but I didn't want to make the trip to LA to visit my favorite place Egg Tuck. This restaurant was only 15 minute's away and had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. The menu is simple and has different varieties of egg options. The staff is friendly and provided some recommendations. The interior and patio area is very clean and nicely renovated. Now for the most important part, the food! The eggs were perfectly scrambled and the brioche was scrumptious. The only thing I'll say is that when you bite into the sandwich most of the ingredients fall out so you need to keep it wrapped up unless you don't mind using a utensils or your fingers to help pick things up. I also ordered avocado toast to go and it was amazing. The bread they use is thick and absorbs well ( it wasn't soggy even after a couple of hours). A little on the pricey side but we are living in inflated times. I wouldn't mind coming back for more. Oh and I checked in to get a free drink which was great! I like their breakfast burritos The texture of the tortilla is on point, workers are nice and accommodating. Cute decor, I wish they had more coffee drinks but there's a mid coffee shop next door if u want, I see people bring the food over to the coffee shop. I really liked their potatoes and their fried chicken offerings have all been stellar. I will say that the asada burrito was a bit mid compared to the other burritos, I felt like the asada was bland, but nonetheless with the salsa it was still tasty. Came here around 8:57am and the house wasn't packed I received my food at 9:30. I ordered there ribeye breakfast burrito and because of the time issue they threw in some beer battered wedges. The store is nice size and has some outside seating also the customer service was good but I would've appreciated some notice on that they were behind on the food two customers received their food befor I, one being a family of 3. I received my items and went to eat the burrito was smaller then I expected but with the ribeye being the meat source I assume that in the price but it took me to bites to get to the ribeye I was eating only tortilla and potatoes. It was dry and they gave you a hot sauce which I thought was to inhance the flavor but it was needed to add flavor and moisture and it did both well. The blood orange juice was fantastic the stand out and I received that for just checking in, the beer battered potato wedges were alright. I wouldnt come back because I'm from out of town and this place didn't wow me to want to make the trip. I think you could work on your informing the guest of delays so they don't get frustrated. Add the salsa in the burrito give them extra on the side or put some kind of sauce in the burrito so its not dry. read more

This place has been recommended to me for so long and finally I had a chance to try it! I just wanted something quick and not too much food so I ordered the biscuit and gravy. Yelp checkin gave a free drink so I used it to try the blood orange juice. Service was friendly enough. Nothing to write home about but no complaints. I think they made the biscuits fresh or something because the wait was a little longer than expected, but that's not a bad thing for fresh food! The orange juice is good. It's not too tart and tastes freshly squeezed. The biscuits and gravy is a much larger portion than I expected! It seems to be 3 biscuits, smothered in their gravy. It's a bit smokey and the flavor reminds me of something I can't quite pinpoint. Biscuits are fine. They were soft and warm. Not really flakey. I'm not sure I would order this again. It seems they are known for their sandwiches so that's what I'm ordering on my next visit! TL;DR for management: I'm gonna hold your hand as I say this. You need to train your staff better. Time and order management has become unbelievably bad. Last time, (dining in): I didn't leave a review last time because everyone has their off days. We came in early on a Sunday, and it was pretty empty when we ordered and sat down. It filled up quickly, and we ended up having to wait over 40 minutes for our food despite being maybe third in line. We watched parties that came in and got seated after us receive their orders before us. We were met with strange answers like, "The chicken takes a long time to fry," and "The oil is heating up," (?!) from kitchen staff when we brought up several times that we still hadn't been served. The tone was also very much "I'm not sure what you want me to do about it." Not a single apology or action taken to make the situation any better. It's been nearly a year and I'm STILL embarrassed for choosing Eggbred and ruining the mood for our party of four. I hadn't gone back, until today... This time (pickup order): My partner waited 12 minutes to even be attended to, and then waited an additional 15 minutes past estimated order completion time. The whole point with pickup orders is to save time. Other times (delivery): Missing items on multiple occasions. Double check that you got every item on the receipt before sending it out. That's what's it's there for. Once is chance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is a pattern. Get it together. read more

I love Eggbred! However, it has changed and have been inconsistent with their food. Prices have gone up a lot on their Build-A-Benny and unfortunately everything else too. Today I was disappointed in my meal because the portion of arugula that I received on both of my sandwiches was TINY! Not sure what happened but literally not AT ALL what it used to be. I order this at least once a week. Now the lettuce is wilted and wet due to them placing it under the meat instead of to the side. It's also been cut down about 75%! When I opened my container, I thought they forgot to add the arugula but saw it was hiding under underneath my chorizo patty. Hope this isn't a permanent change! read more

The cooks are great because the itself food is always delicious. I love getting their breakfast sandwiches! A little pricey but it's a nice treat. The service is not so good. The people at the register/handing out the orders are usually pretty incompetent. I always have to tell them I'm waiting for an order and what it is. I'm never acknowledged as a customer waiting. Don't come here if you're in a rush. They are usually busy and I have to push them along to get my order of one sandwich. The burrito I ordered today (Sunday) was very lackluster. I ordered the rib-eye California burrito and the meat was bland. For $27 dollars(paid for extra meat) I expected much more but was disappointed. I actually came here 2 weeks ago and ordered a rib-eye sandwich on a Sunday and the meat tasted bland. Not sure what's going on with the meat . My wife and I used to rave about this place but now it's just not the same. Service was okay and nothing notable. Ive ordered this before and now they serve it with a side of hollandaise sauce? I'm assuming that's what it was. I loved it because I'm a sauce person. I was about to ask for some on the side, but they read my mind. EATING IN: I l always leave a tip when I eat at the restaurant because the staff still has to clean your table & trays. However, they DO NOT bring it to your table. You get a buzzer and it buzzes when your food is ready and you go to the counter to pick it up yourself. Just noting it's more fast food. You also have to clean up after yourself (throw trash away, put tray away). Don't be a jerk, clean up after yourself. OVERALL: They are a REALLY GREAT GOURMET SANDWICH SHOP. You are paying for the quality of the flavors. Some of the sandwiches may seem simple, but they all have a lot of flavors and are very different. It's never busy, and parking is always easy to find. Finally tried this place. Solid 3.5, but bumped it up to 4 for the beer battered potatoes. I would go back just to eat a bowl full of them. I definitely want to try more items on the menu. I had the the burger which was fine. A bit on the smaller side, but with the side of potatoes, I was fine. The burger is served with an egg, caramelized onions, pickles, and sharp cheddar. Now that I think back on it, the pickles completely overpowered the onions. It was still good. Think Shake Shack size and maybe just as good. I ordered the Avocado Toast for my wife. I only had a bite, but it was very good. Will go back to get what they are more known for- breakfast. Glad I tried it, glad it's close by. Oh yeah, plenty of parking in the mini mall it's in.
