I loved the premise of this place and was not disappointed. The bread is incredible, so is the sauce. I appreciated the just egg option (although only the burrito is available completely vegan). This was just an amazing breakfast sandwich and it melted in my mouth. Really, really happy with it. read more

Make sure you give yourself a little time in the morning, and swing by Egg Tuck. I really would love to see the sandwich style catch in all over the county, but it's one of the best sandwiches I have had in a while. Ordering is quick and easy, and the food is fresh and fast. read more

This place is okay the toast was a bit soggy for my liking but the honey lemonade is definitely a must try !!!!

The food was ok. But the packaging is what really upset me. This place is clearly just about being viral and I guess that business model is working? But it's not going to sustain customers coming back in. First off we ate in, so why did I need to get everything in packaging to begin with? They use styrofoam cups for water, it's 2024 I know we're struggling with plastic use still but styrofoam? Really? And the extra plastic screen to hold the eggs into my sandwich in a "picture perfect way", when I got to the back side of my sandwich the last inch had no eggs in it! Just make a proper sandwich and ditch the plastic bs. read more

The hype is REAL! The tots were so good they literally brought tears to my eyes. Quick and casual-perfect spot to grab something on the weekend. read more

The brioche was fluffy and the egg perfectly cooked. The sandwich was fire with a fix of all flavors. read more

So good! It's quick and affordable. It's definitely not the healthiest option and the food is very salty but it tasted great and was a really good option. We spent a few nights at the river walk and egg tuck was the best breakfast we had during our trip because it was the only place that was reasonable. read more

This food was great. This food was awesome. This food especially the egg texture and taste was just perfect. Would definitely come here again, I am from Los Angeles where they also have a location, but this place is even better. Thank you so much for giving us a lot of eggs. read more

I inhaled this before I could take a picture. This was one of the best egg sandwiches I've EVER had! Such unique flavors and the eggs were heavenly fluffy. I ordered delivery for this so can't say anything about the restaurant itself. If I lived in town I would order this pretty frequently! read more

Egg tuck is worth the wait!!! I have been waiting to try this place in La and never got around to it... well.. I can confirm it is the best sandwich ever!!! Eggs were perfectly cooked! Amazing service! I can't wait to try the one in La! read more

Egg Tuck in the Loop has solid food, especially if you're into egg sandwiches and tater tots. The sandwiches are tasty, and the tots are crispy--definitely worth trying. But the place itself is a bit of a letdown. It's often messy, and the cleanliness isn't great. If you're just grabbing food to-go, it's fine, but if you're looking to sit and eat, the environment might be a turn-off. Good food, but the atmosphere could use some serious improvement. read more

Don't bother. Tried ordering, waited an hour and half, got an email saying it was cancelled - no explanation and no apology. There is a phone number to call which I did and no one answered. What a waste of time. They couldn't care less about customer service. Let's see if they bother to refund me too which nothing has been said about. read more

There are limited places to grab a quick breakfast along the riverfront, so I was excited to find this restaurant and placed an online order that would be ready in 25 minutes. Unfortunately, when we arrived in time to pick up the order, we were told that it had not even been started as they're very busy. we were told it would be at least 45 minutes before our order would be next and completed, so we had to leave before receiving our food to get to a scheduled appointment. They could not cancel the order so we had to email the company directly to work through receiving a refund. read more

Great food and amazing Eggs! Tried them in Los Angeles and they are just as good out here in Chicago! Everyone was nice and the kiosks helped move people along. Can't wait to come back! read more

Incredibly unique and tasty sandwiches. Ordered the Spicy Royal West and Fluffy egg tots. Delicious! Wish parking was more convenient but great fun place to grab a bite read more

Probably the most unique egg sandwiches I've ever had. Their food is creative and delicious! It's not fancy and reasonably priced for the prime location. The place is clean and there is seating at the back of the restaurant. I ate here two days in a row while I stayed at the London House. read more

Great breakfast sandwich! Easy to order, customize and great for on the go to get back out and explore.

The menu was great. I ordered the classic egg sandwich. The sauces add the flavor and the bread was awesome. The wait time is good, only thing i could ask for is the food to be brought out more warm. Other than that it was perfect. Came on a Sunday, was not too packed, friendly little restaurant. read more

Egg Tuck - Classic egg sandwich - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

The sandwich was pretty good and big with perfectly cooked eggs. However, the cheese was not melted and we had to ask them to remake it. This is a place that is good to try once but I would not be coming back. We also got the orange juice, which says it was freshly squeezed, but it taste like something you can get from, the supermarket, so I doubt it is freshly squeezed. There is no pulp in it. read more

Loved it!!! Their egg sandwich is toooo good!! Service is fast as well. We had a to go order and it was served quickly.

Absolutely love the breakfast sandwiches here! The eggs are unbelievably creamy and delicious!

The service was poor. Placed an order and asked for the code for the restroom (per the signs saying to ask staff for a code). Was told that the bathrooms aren't available because they're currently being cleaned. Went and checked, and the bathrooms weren't being cleaned. Both were just locked up. I asked another staff member for the bathroom code, and received was again told it was being closed due to being cleaned. I told her no one was there cleaning, then she claimed that "the ops team" told them not to open the bathroom since they don't want to have to clean it when they're closing in an hour... smh. Maybe I'm wired, but I just don't appreciate being lied to repeatedly. read more

Awesome sandwiches, friendly folks. More room in the back. Very nice quick stop during the day.

I was skeptical, but all the talk is true - this was, by far, the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. If you're in the Chicago area, do not skip out on this! read more

Good, reasonably priced food. However the service is bad, there's always a 15 min wait, and you're lucky if they make your order correctly. I emailed the owner regarding our bad experience but one, two, three days have passed and no response. I would not recommend Egg Tuck if you are in a hurry or if you don't mind receiving a mystery order! read more

So good! Best tator tots anywhere! Lived the bacon egg sandwich! Clean dining area, kind employee

The ambiance is very chill with good music. There was about a 20 minute wait because they were so busy so I elected to dine in. The food and drink were worth the wait!! The Avo Egg had a great presentation and tasted even better! It was definitely filling! I got the New Orleans latte with almond milk and was very pleased. I'll definitely visit again the next time I'm in Chicago. read more

The food was excellent! I would recommend the fluffy egg hash browns! The sandwich is plenty filling so the I would suggest splitting hash browns with someone. The only reason this isn't five stars is that the service took a little longer than I would've liked (20 minutes for breakfast is too long). However I would come back again! read more

Delicious! The only thing I have to say is that the sandwich is so soft it's hard to eat with your hands. But it's SO tasty!!!

This place was incredible. The sandwiches were huge but delicious. The service was pretty quick and the place is bright and pretty close to the hotels and downtown area. Do yourself a favor and stop in for an egg sandwich, you won't be disappointed. read more

Fantastic vibes and food! Fast service! My sandwich was great and I got it quickly. Definitely coming back soon.

Eggscellent sandwich contrary to popular belief, ham and egg goes better than bacon
