A small town restaurant that does a decent job providing breakfast. When we went, they were very busy. They did their best to get the dishes out as quickly as they could. But there was a period of 30 minutes in which nothing left the kitchen. I don't know what was going on, but it was about 52 minutes between ordering and getting our food placed on our table. This place is great! I have been really hesitant to eat indoors during the pandemic, but they're taking it seriously. The tables have plastic dividers between them, all of the staff are wearing masks, etc. I ordered the Greek white omelet - egg whites, feta, spinach, tomatoes (and I asked for it without the ham + onions). It was just the right ratio of egg whites to cheese/veggies, and the hash browns on the side were just the right amount of crispy. Between all of that + the toast, it was a TON of food but so good I couldn't stop eating it! My husband had a scramble but also ordered a "side" pancake - which was massive! Been going to this place with my son from birth til about 2 years ago. Moved away, but this week on a family trip stopped in again. I don't normally write these but not only did the staff remember us, but the food and vibes there were just as good as when we lived here. Parking situation was not fun either , This spot is definitely not good for lots of people. Being in the area, we opted to enjoy brunch here and were NOT disappointed. The restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and politely COVID conscious. I ordered a banana and apple pancake (they were kind to accommodate my request) that is ginormous, exceeded expectations and was delish! The mushroom Swiss omelette was very good. Thinking I had a little time to peruse the menu, I simply ordered "a water for now". They brought my wife's coffee and my water immediately, then it took easily 20 mins before our waitress came. She didn't apologize for the wait or anything, just took our order and went. I ordered an actual drink that never came. Our food finally arrived, about 15 or so mins after ordering... I wish I would have actually timed it. My wife ordered a seasonal special that had fresh veggies, eggs and a chicken sausage. It was SO GOOD. Like, I'd eat it every day. The veggies were AMAZING. I ordered the organic chicken tenders & fries because I am a child. They were OKAY. No flavor at all to the chicken but it definitely tasted fresh. Fries were undercooked.
