We dropped into the Egg It On Cafe at the suggestion of our daughter while visiting in Broken Arrow. Living in Owasso, BA is pretty far off our beaten path, but the timing was right for this visit. We arrived mid-morning on a Saturday, and were seated immediately. Menus were given and drink orders were taken, and we were off to a good start. The Kid went with the Chicken Tenders, The Wife with the Pancake Trio, and I opted to go another route, choosing the Okie Train Frittata. I mean, how often do you find a frittata on a menu around here? The wait was agreeably short and the plates hit the table in good time. The Kid's chicken tenders were well done, nicely battered and fried, with good french fries on the side. The Wife's breakfast was quite a lot more than she bargained for. The two cakes were easily plate-sized each, much more than she could manage. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the single link sausage nicely done. The links are substantially larger than your run of the mill breakfast link that you're used to, running to a halfway between that and a full blown sandwich sized link. Not sure if they make them in house or buy them, but either way, the bite I got was pretty good, Mild, subtle seasoning with just the right snap to the casing. Good job all around on that one, with the only negative being just one link. My frittata was also a pleasant surprise. While the eggs were a little overcooked to my taste, it was still a great choice. With bacon and sausage cooked in with the eggs, and sauteed onions on top, covered with sausage gravy, it was a hearty and satisfying component of the meal. The accompanying biscuit was light, flaky and all around great. That said, the gravy, while possessing a good flavor, was too thick for my preferences. I like a gravy that moves around a little on it's own, and this was thick enough I had to spread it around. Still, that's just a preference, and not a reflection on the overall quality. The only thing I really took exception with was the hashbrowns. They failed to hit a note with me. First, they were barely warm, and they were overly dry. I suspect that's a common problem with the hashbrowns served here, because they were much finer than the normal, thicker cut hashbrowns most places use. Being that thin, there's nowhere to retain any moisture when they cook, so if they're held for any length of time they end up being dry and overly crunchy. All that together tells me these had probably been sitting in a pan on the flattop far longer than they should have been. Service was top notch, and the decor was more upscale than you would expect of a breakfast diner. All things considered, hashbrowns aside, we left happy and full. read more

Everything we've had has been delicious the chicken and waffle & their biscuits are perfect and their eggchilada was also very good and flavorful. The ham and tomato Benedict's also very good. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because you can hear the kitchen staff yelling and even dropping the "F" word. This has happened on two separate occasions. The waitress however have been very nice and attentive. Their coffee also has a burnt taste two separate times which ruined it for me. read more

Heads up... The girl at the front was very rude. I was waiting patiently for my to-go order. I saw that it had shown up, but continued to patiently wait. After a few minutes, she saw me looking at it and stated "You can go check it if you want, I need to seat these people." I continued to wait patiently to show it was no problem. She became freed up and continued to not attend to me. I walked up and asked if I'm supposed to walk up to the kitchen to get it, and she responded once again "you can check the name if you want." When they give you an estimated wait time, double it. No urgency from the staff. To-go seemed the best way to get your food

The service was attentive and friendly. Our waitress Anna was so helpful suggesting from the menu. The homemade fried chicken was great. Use to come to egg it on every Sunday, looked forward to seeing the waitresses but not anymore. Since Sue took over the operation the place is very impersonal the food is ok and the waiters are robots. Sue fired her best waitresses and a few of her cooks have left also. Truly disappointing. Arrived to a line and a 5-10 minute wait, which is usually acceptable but in this case the restaurant had 10-15 open tables. The menus mourned the loss of their GREATEST ever employee and lamented that the hundreds of employees who had worked their before him had faded into a blur of unremembered faces and broken hope. How excited is our server gonna be today? Ok the menu. The first thing was that there was a Health Department section, which threw me to wondering about Health Department inspections and health violations. Clearly an attempt at humor that falls short considering the menu works pretty hard to get away from traditional breakfast. It's 2018 - healthy menu shouldn't have to be confined to something Dr Paul and Nurse Lowe suggest. All this made it hard to order, plus I don't really enjoy scrambles, skillets, and overly sweet pancake/waffle/toast combos. I had a bowl of fruit, some of it not identifiable (canned pear maybe). When the food came it was good. The Eggchiladas looked fun, but the tostada had a hard fried egg, probably should have been sunny side up. Looked dry like something you'd find in a cow pasture. All in all, just go to First Watch or Main Street Tavern. They do what this place is trying to do without the contrived menu and derivative humor. This place was great when Dale was running it. Since he left they have raised their rates beyond their competition, the atmosphere is cold l, and the staff that have been their for years have left or were asked to leave. Last two times we tried to go it was closed due to staff shortages. This was a great place with outstanding food at reasonable prices for us old folks and wonderful service. We have other alternatives now. We will remember Dale's Egg It On. read more

I thought this was a great cafe! The customer service was really good. The food was made quick and it tasted fresh. This was my first time here so I really didn't know what to get. The menu has so many options and everything looked so good on the pictures. The prices are reasonable I didn't consider this expensive and the portion size was good. I loved that they gave a cookie at the end of the meal. I would suggest you go here if you live in broken arrow or visiting for breakfast better then Waffle House by like 10 stars. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE! The food was horrible and the owner was extremely rude and disrespectful!!!!! As a Disabled Veteran, I always count my blessings and try not to get upset about petty things. However, we politely asked if we could exchange my sons Eggs Benny's because the Holindase Sauce was very chalky and had a bad taste like it was made from powder, just awful!!! Long story short the owner was extremely rude and disrespectful, he said our opinions were wrong, and he didn't care one bit about what Yelp reviews said! His business would be fine so we could write a bad review and he didn't care! He then purposely charged my card $93 and when I asked him to fix it he replied " that's what I should charge you". Wow!!!! What an arrogant A$$@hole!! There are way better places to eat in Broken Arrow like Jake's Cafe down the road. read more

The 2* is for the complete lack of social distancing and total uncaring about the fact that people could be getting sick at their restaurant. The front door is a particular cluster f due to the small vestibule clogging up with people going in and out at the same time and through a single door. I'm a very picky coffee drinker ( need it weak) so I asked for it to be watered down. The server brought me two pots: one coffee and one hot water. I like that. My husband Bill ordered a fruit plate and blueberry pancake. I ordered waffle. While waiting for our food, we were entered with 60's and 70s music. Definitely the gray haired crowd place to eat! My server, Jenni, is a gem. Good service and friendly. The food is outstanding. At least what I had. This is my new favorite breakfast place in Broken Arrow. My only complaint is with the female owner. She is not very friendly. I tried to make conversation and she barely answered. Not a good trait for a manager in the food business. Maybe she is shy. I will apologize in advance for my lack of preparation for this review. I failed in my picture taking duties because I was too busy focusing on my delicious food! But never fear. I'll do my best :) I've only had the opportunity to come here once due to it's distance from where I live, but I would love to go back as soon as I can! The staff was super friendly and helpful despite my friend and I being utterly unable to choose our breakfast (read:we were too excited by all the things that sounded amazing and were having trouble picking just one!)! But once we made our decisions, we were not disappointed! I'm a sucker for a good skillet, but sometimes have difficulty finding them in the Tulsa area-the one's here we're done beautifully, and I even was able to get my poached eggs! The coffee was hot, the tables/dining area were clean, and we were served promptly without any mistakes. This is a great option for breakfast in Broken Arrow. If you like First Watch, you'll like Egg It On. They borrowed the concept from them. The sign on the door is similar, the menu items are eerily similar even in name, the look, etc. While they might be blatantly ripping off another restaurant, they at least do it well!! I choose the Broken Egg Benny "hollandaise smothering 2 poached eggs with tomato, ham or turkey atop an English muffin and served with potatoes (choice of hash browns or seasoned potatoes) and fresh fruit" for $6.95. My server, Melissa, was very gracious and helpful. Food came out quickly and hot. Generous portion of hash browns but fresh fruit only consisted of 2 very small chunks of cantaloupe, 2 very small chunks of honeydew and 2 grapes. That was very disappointing. Eggs were poached just right atop 2 slices of tomato and thinly sliced ham on the English muffin. Hollandaise was obviously not made from scratch but was passable. Overall though a good experience and I will come back to try the waffle and the croissant scramble ("a fresh croissant topped with scrambled eggs, spinach, ham and melted cheeses then topped with hollandaise"). My wife raves about this place so we went at 10 am Saturday, October 3rd. Place was packed, gave our name to hostess for a table of 3; the hostess said it would be 20 minutes. After checking 3 times, because you could see empty tables, we were finally seated at 10:50 am. The Watress finally came over after 10 minutes to take drink order, she said "Sorry Honey, There are others ahead of you." Finally got our order in at 11:10. Have to give the kitchen credit, the order was out in about ten minutes. I biscuits and gravy. The Biscuits were great, but the gravy looked a little funny. I should trust my instincts.
