Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. Crepes were very good. Would recommend it!

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! The service was so on point! I was immediately seated and had my order taken. Another person was bringing my drinks right after the waitress took my order. They passed each other! My food came out super quick. The interior was very peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and spacious. Hands down, they had the best pancakes I've ever had in life! They weren't heavy. Very light and fluffy with good flavor. The cherry wood thick cut bacon was perfectly cooked and delicious!

First time here. From the host to the waiter and even the server, great customer service! Clean and open atmosphere. Parking lot right outside so not much walking required and spacious seating inside. Loved the speed of the service and presentation of the food. That being said, I didn't like the food at all for a sit down establishment. It was identical in taste to every breakfast buffet at a hotel I've ever visited. The eggs looked and tasted like it came in powered form and as pretty as the crepes were they tasted spongey. I did enjoy the bacon and appreciated that it was a generous portion. Pricing wise, I paid $17 for everything pictured which would've been fantastic if I liked it. Mixed feelings overall.

What a great brunch spot we stumbled upon during our time in ATL! The French toast were delicious but it is a big portion when your order it by itself. The espresso machine wasn't working when we there, but the latte selection looked good! Service was quick, especially when you get on the waitlist virtually. Food came out pretty soon after we ordered, great efficiency! Overall a good breakfast in ATL!

Showed up first thing on a Saturday morning, seated quickly, and immediately was greeted by our waitress who was super friendly and quick to take our orders. Food only took about 15 or so minutes to come out, which was really quick because the whole restaurant was packed and they had already started a waiting list. I don't typically go for tuna sandwiches, but this was one of the best tuna sandwiches I've ever had. The potatoes looked interesting but were surprisingly the best breakfast potatoes. They had such an amazing flavor. I was shocked because it didn't look like they had seasoning on it. There was so much food there I couldn't even finish my second sandwich half. This restaurant is super adorable inside as well. I didn't take photos of the atmosphere due to their being too many people, but it was very homey and chic feeling. Highly recommend if you are passing through, visiting, or are a local.

We love this place and come here all the time for brunch. Amazing staff and great location. The food is so good. I typically get an omelette but you can't go wrong with any of the menu items.

    Chicken and waffles- thumbs up

An above average brunch spot. The menu is a lot to navigate- many many choices and combos to wade through. I landed on the chicken and waffles. It came with a slight drizzle of sriracha syrup on it. Had I known that (the description didn't state it was ON it), I would have asked for it in the side. It was a large portion of chicken and waffles. The chicken was AMAZING.

9/10 Overall: delicious brunch foods!! Everything we ordered tasted amazing and the portions are really big for the price. When we got there, they told us there would be a 15 min wait but our table was ready within 5. Super great and fast service too! Classic avocado toast $14.5: 4.5/5 the sourdough bread was perfectly toasted under some fresh mashed avocado, arugula, and cherry tomatoes. The eggs were perfectly cooked and went so well on top of the toast. It also came with fresh fruit on the side. San Antonio Skillet $15: 4.3/5 very tasty! The eggs were cooked perfectly and it had potatoes, chorizo, bacon, cheese, jalapeños, onion, and tomato. It was the perfect amount of saltiness and paired very well with Tabasco for spice. Ultimate skillet $14.5: 3.5/5 this skillet felt like a giant scrambled omelette mixed with a lot of yummy cheese. It was super flavorful and was the perfect amount of saltiness! It had potatoes, ham, mushroom, onion, green pepper, tomato, and cheese. Fried chicken biscuit: $16: 3.5/5 the gravy had a lot of flavor and went well with the bacon and chicken inside the biscuit. The biscuit itself was soft which I really liked. The potatoes on the side tasted pretty basic.

    Bloody Mary

We're obsessed with egg harbor. The iced coffee, biscuits and gravy, skillets, and Bloody Marys are all 10/10. Quick service and friendly staff

Shakshuka with great jam on the side.

Popped by on a Sunday morning following a hike. Was less busy than I thought. I saw a dish called shakshuka that a friend had told me about when he visited Morocco. The meal was outstanding. Eggs cooked perfectly and the sauce had a little spice. The cheese in the sauce really added to the depth. English muffin was above average but the homemade jam was heavenly. Food overall was about four stars but our waiter (KC) pushed this to a five star. Great personality, attentive without being bothersome. Recommend.

Last day in Atlanta, and Egg Harbor ended up being the brunch spot. It was a week day, so it wasn't crowded and we got seated right away. Our server, Adele gave us some good southern hospitality service. I was intrigued by the strawberry orange juice, and was quite pleased. I always love fresh squeezed juice and the strawberry added a nice touch. I ordered the southern shrimp and grits, which came with a biscuit. Let's just say that skillet got scraped clean. The biscuit was huge and super fluffy. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. We might have done things a little backwards, but weren't ready to go once we were done eating and got their seasonal mimosa, apple cider, which was very tasty. This is a great place to take the family and do some casual dining. They have great menu options, so there's something there for everyone.

Huge menu, and the restaurant has a lot of character. Make sure you bring your glasses because you're going to need to read. The menu is big. My server recommended a few things on the menu, but I was not in the mood for chorizo. If you like chorizo, quite a few items on the menu are made with it. Shashuka - order a Moroccan dish and was not disappointed. The over easy eggs that were inside the tomato broth were perfection. It is served with an English muffin. My suggestion would be to replace this with a sizable piece of French bread, in order to mop up the deliciousness that was left in the bowl. I got a side of the breakfast potatoes. This was a mistake. Pass on the breakfast potatoes. Any chance you get. The potatoes are sad, unseasoned and uninspired. The only thing they came in good for, was to throw it into the tomato broth that was left on my plate, soak up some of that deliciousness. 10 out of 10 for tea display. It comes out with its own heated infuser, lemon, and honey are offered, there's a decent variety to choose from. The only improvement that I would make is when you're asking for a hot water refill, the waiter needs to make sure that little miniature pitcher is actually hot water and not hot water. That's been sitting somewhere for who knows how long. Also tried these spiked lemonade. Though mine was pretty tasty, I would pass on it at $12. All in all a really friendly place. Plenty of seating. Friendly service.

    Fried chicken biscuit with fruit
    Talesha C.

We came here on a Sunday morning around 9:45am. The waitress was very nice and polite. After ordering our food, it did arrive from the kitchen fairly quickly. The fruit tray looked a bit scarce and the fruit somehow looked overworked. The fried chicken biscuit had a good tasting gravy on it but that's probably the highlight of the biscuit. There was a lot of bread and not enough chicken to cover the full size of the biscuit. The chicken was also hard to cut with the knife they provided. Overall, I was not impressed with my meal and wouldn't order it again.

Anyway I can make reservations for next Sunday?

I am sorry to say, no reservations for parties of 4 or less however if you are having a large group (special occasion) they may accommodate you! It is a great restaurant and always busy. We have often sent someone early to get on the list.

What would be the typical wait for a table for 4 on a Friday morning around 9:30 AM?

Hmm not sure probably less than 5 minutes. It's the weekend mornings that run about 5-15 minutes before 9:30. By 10:00-11:30 wait times go to 35-45 minutes.

The bowl options looked fresh, flavorful, and perfect for a quick but satisfying meal. We arrived around 11:45 a.m., just before the lunch rush. I ordered the barbecue chicken bowl with black rice. Overall, my bowl was pretty good. The portions were solid, the ingredients tasted fresh, and it was filling without feeling heavy. My coworkers ordered the Greek bowl and what I believe was a teriyaki style bowl. The only strong feedback we had was regarding the seasoning on the Greek bowl. I noticed the seasoning appeared to be sprinkled on top of the chicken after the bowl was assembled. I think if the chicken were tossed in the seasoning beforehand, it would create a more impactful flavor throughout. As it was, my coworker felt the bowl leaned slightly bland because the seasoning did not fully incorporate. What truly stood out to me was the customer service. I believe the owner came in while we were there, and he was incredibly pleasant and hands on. As the lunch crowd grew, it was clear he remembered returning customers and even their usual orders. That level of attentiveness makes a difference. I would definitely return to try more menu options. Next time, I may ask for extra sauce or seasoning to give the bowl a stronger flavor boost. Overall, it is a great lunch spot with solid bowl options in Sandy Springs

Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. So we were prepared for that even though we were going on a Thursday mid morning. I think there was an influx of people celebrating graduations because it was in fact very busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. Strong, which is how I like it and not overly sweet. I ordered the chicken biscuit on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the pimento cheese omelette and was very happy with it, the bacon was thick cut and smoky and flavorful. The pimento cheese grits that came on the side for me were also a stand out, such great flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and the blueberry basil jam that came with my husband's meal was such a nice touch. We will absolutely make a point to come back to Buttermilk Kitchen next time we visit the Atlanta area.

First things first: the Chicken Biscuit. Buttermilk Kitchen's biscuit is on the crunchy, honey-flavored side. I personally prefer fluffier, more buttery biscuits, so this one wasn't my favorite. That aside, the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned and paired well with the cheese grits. If you ever wanted a dry, crunchy version of Homegrown's Comfy Chicken Biscuit, come give this a shot. I also tried the Hash Bowl, which was a bit underwhelming. It was a *lot* of potatoes compared to the eggs and bacon bits, and there wasn't a lot of seasoning other than the bacon. Would rather recommend one of the other options if you end up visiting. The drinks are good as well, would recommend the matcha latte (not too sweet!) and the French Press coffee.

However, I kept kosher when I raised my children, so I'm no stranger to observance. We started off with an order of the Fuego Animal Fries for the table. French fries topped with brisket, red onions, green chiles and queso sauce. The appetizer was excellent! See the attached picture, which tells a thousand words! The brisket was lean and tender, and braised perfectly. The red onions were sautéed and added such depth with the cheese and chiles! Next up, the Fried Cauliflower; crisp florets with a horseradish-roasted garlic aioli. The cauliflower was fried with a crispy, flavorful breading, and was tender inside. The horseradish sauce was very good and I dipped every bite. The last appetizer, the Southwest Rolls, fell short of expectations - most people didn't finish theirs. It's not that it had a 'bad taste', but the texture inside was really strange. It tasted sandy, or powdery to me - not what you would expect from a roll stuffed with brisket, black beans, corn and peppers. Maybe the beans were the reason; whatever, the recipe needs serious adjustment. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries for my main course. I was trying to decide between the brisket sandwich or the fried chicken sandwich-after the brisket and fries appetizer, I almost went with the brisket, but decided last minute to go with the 'Schnitzel Sandwich', as it's called. We all know what the term 'schnitzel' means when it comes to meats - pounding it down to about a 1/4 inch thick, breading and frying. In this dish, the chicken is pounded and fried - I was surprised to see, not one schnitzel, but two in my sandwich - see attached picture. It was a tasty chicken sandwich - it was tender - but, since it's so thin, it wasn't juicy - but, wasn't dry either. I prefer a large piece of meat when having fried chicken, but it was fine. Overall, I enjoyed the lunch at Fuego. If I return, I'm definitely trying the brisket sandwich!

At 6:57 we sat after getting the attention of a different person, but not until after a table for two that hadn't been cleared but was empty since before we arrived was slowly cleaned. Once we were seated, we were not greeted until 7:05 - 8 minutes after sitting down. We had questions about allergies and the server seemed unsure of the menu. I found out that for the wings, you can't split sauces. Our server told us we could get a side of a second sauce. This was his idea, and we were surprised to be charged for it. No mention of an upcharge. Also - this sauce did not arrive until later. At 7:13, we placed our order. No alcohol or drinks were ordered. We had noted that we wanted to start with the wings as an appetizer. The wings arrived at the table at 7:22. The spicy sauce (that we were charged for) was not with the food. The wings were fine. The ranch was great. Entrees hit the table at 7:26. We'd hardly had a moment to eat the wings before everything was on the table. The burger and sandwich were fine. For the Fuego burger being $33 dollars, we expected a larger portion size or something more special about it, but it was just a burger. The BBQ Brisket Sandwich was also fine, but didn't feel worth $26 dollars. Both of our meals were good, but not good enough to justify the prices or lack of service. Throughout the dinner, we noticed our server took better care of other tables. I don't know if it's because we didn't buy alcohol (again, overpriced) or were only 2 people, but we felt like a second thought the entire time. For a place at this price point, we expected better. There are no sections for the servers in the building, so they have tables all over the restaurant, making it easier to forget a table. I think this is a symptom of how the restaurant is run. Our server didn't check on us until 7:34 which was when we got much needed water refills and the extra sauce that hadn't come. At 7:44 we finished eating. At 7:47 our server checked in and we asked for a box. At 7:48 he dropped the check and a box and said he would be right back to pick it up; he just had to clear a table for new guests. Our table wasn't cleared of the empty dishes. After waiting 11 minutes with the check and dirty table, a different staff member picked up the card at 7:59. She came back a minute later and we had to sign the check on a tablet she held. It asked if we wanted to leave a tip, but there was already a 20% service charge on the receipt. It's on the menu and website, but it feels scammy to not disclose this to guests upon payment and to have a "would you like to leave a tip" while an employee is holding the screen. Our meal, 10 wings (the upcharge sauce), the fuego burger, and the brisket sandwich, cost us $102 all said and done. I hope this was a fluke, but we will not be returning. At this price point, guests should be able to feel like they are being taken care of. Throughout the movement at dinner service, guest left and their tables weren't bussed or cleaned, and if they were, trash was left. We saw a lot of people around the restaurant receive better service and more attention. I work in fine dining myself and have a lot of empathy for being busy or understaffed, but I've never had a dining experience that truly made me feel like I was being taken advantage of.
