a plate of eggs and a fork

We are a family of four with twin 2 year olds who accidentally stumbled upon this breakfast spot on our way to another place, but I am so so glad! The food was delicious! Tons of shaded outdoor seating, top notch customer service! Best breakfast we've had all week in Cape Cod! We waited a total of 6 mins for all food to be done (French toast meal, pancake meal, and steak and eggs meal) which if you're a parent of toddlers you know Speed is so important! The kids ate everything! We ate everything! Highly recommend their pancakes, they taste like Sunday morning with grandma! Come check them out!!!! Easy walk down beautiful Main Street, no reason not to come.

Outdoor seating is nice and right down the street from the shopping/stores. Food was pretty subpar. I got the lobster eggs benedict, which lacked flavor. It tasted like it needed seasoning outside of a simple salt and pepper. Blueberry pancakes and mediterranean omelette were average. We were expecting the food to make us say "oh this is yummy!", but it was meh. The servers were nice, but they kept forgetting about part of our order. She forgot about my coffee -- by the time she came back around I didn't want it anymore. Also forgot about our side order of bacon, which took 20 minutes to come out. Didn't seem intentional though.

Saturday morning and the place was fairy busy, between the ragged look of the place and how busy it was we were not expecting much but surprisingly enough the service was wuick and the food was great.

Banana pancakes

Oh gosh. I know what you're thinking. You're starving and all the other places have a long wait. We came here before checking reviews. What a mistake. This place has so much potential, unfortunately the food is not very good at all. I ordered banana pancakes that were completely bland and difficult to eat. The banana wasn't even properly mixed in the batter. The menus and tables are sticky; and the waitresses, although kind, are a bit all over the place. The place could use an upgrade. The food was extremely overpriced for the quality and unappetizing. If you're too hungry to wait, go to a fast food restaurant, you'll get warm, yummy food at a decent price. Everyone in town knows this place is trouble, unfortunately new Cape Coders such as myself were unaware. Don't make the same mistake.

Great food and service. Serving size was big and didn't cost an arm and a leg. The outdoors seating area made for great ambiance, too.

This year we came back because of how outstanding last year was. I ordered the chili again, even though I knew it meant I probably wouldn't eat my whole meal. My friend ordered the fish and chips and upgraded to truffle fries. She said it was probably the best fish and chips she's had. Now... for my meal... I am not exaggerating... BEST meal I have EVER had. Ever. I had the cod. Baked. With pesto, and sun-dried tomatoes. Served with roasted potatoes and spinach. So flaky. So tender. Perfectly cooked. The flavor was something straight from heaven. Breaks my heart I'm not local. I'd eat this weekly. All of the staff is always so friendly. A gentleman also checked in... not sure if he's a manager or owner. This is a top notch place. I'll definitely be back.

The TV screens are perfectly placed, the bartenders are friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The pizza was excellent -- flavorful, hot, and done just right. We also tried the meatloaf, and it genuinely reminded us of our grandmother's from years ago -- comforting, hearty, and full of flavor. That's not something you find everywhere. Even in the middle of winter, the place had a warm, lively vibe. We ended up having a great conversation with someone we later found out was the owner -- just chatting about everyday life. That kind of genuine hospitality says a lot. Good food, great service, and an easygoing atmosphere. Thanks for a great experience -- we'll definitely be back!

Katie was our waitress, and she aimed to please from the wine tasting to make sure we like our choices from the wine list We both selected the fish taco with pineapple salsa with a very nice dressing The unique potato chip fried fish was so fresh We opt for the garlic bread to go with our wine and that too had its special flare I know we both said this is a first but not our last trip to enjoy the food ,service and ambience . Thanks Katie for answering all our many questions and making so many extra trips to the kitchen for us Jackie S

The…read morebluefish pate itself was good, but rather on the salty side, so serving it with salt and vinegar chips made it pretty much inedibly salty (this was taken off the bill when the bartender noticed we didn't eat more than one bite each). My first glass of vinho verde wine was served at room temperature (the second was fine), and the side plate I was given was crusted with dried food residue. I also watched an employee behind the bar wipe her nose with her hand and then continue slicing citrus barehanded. The chicken empanadas were good but not particularly special. We also had one of the small pizzas, which was the best thing of the night, crispy and flavorful (with a little char at the edges, which we like). The decor is a little bananas (different shades of green between the walls, the napkins, the barstools, and the banquettes; five kinds of lighting fixtures; lots of sound and lighting items with exposed, hasty-looking wiring). The bathroom door doesn't really close and lock properly. And the restaurant is really loud, even half full. The writing on the menu, about family members and special recipes, tells me that there's pride here and real care about making a good restaurant. However, without the attention to detail (particularly cleanliness and hygiene!), that's kind of moot. Three stars instead of two here because the pizza was good and the staff obviously care about customers.

The location is stunning, especially as the sun sets over the water. Just don't show up without a reservation unless you're in the mood for a wait. We were quoted an hour... it turned into two. Not ideal with two kids under four, but we made it work thanks to a small beach 10 minutes away and a drink from the bar to take the edge off. Valet parking is your only option and it's a bit chaotic--just let the pros do their thing and be sure to have a tip ready. Once you're seated (inside, out on the patio, or in the covered sunroom), the ambiance is relaxed but lively, and the place is huge with no shortage of staff buzzing around. Food? Totally worth the hype. We started with fresh oysters and complimentary bread with butter--off to a great start. I ordered the scallop risotto, and I'm still thinking about it. Creamy, rich, and layered with bacon, lobster, corn, and seared scallops cooked to perfection. Half our table ended up ordering so there was no disappointment once the first plate made its debut. The kids' pizza also deserves a shoutout--fluffy, golden crust that almost made me abandon my risotto and ask for a bite. The wine list was solid, cocktails looked great, and my boyfriend gave the beer selection a shrug. Our server wasn't the friendliest and water refills were a game of "guess when she'll remember," but honestly, it didn't overshadow the meal. Final word: amazing food, a beautiful waterfront view, and the kind of bustling Cape atmosphere you want on vacation. Just make a reservation, tip your valet, and order the risotto. Trust me.
