The flavor was something straight from heaven. Breaks my heart I'm not local. I'd eat this weekly. All of the staff is always so friendly. The decor is a little bananas (different shades of green between the walls, the napkins, the barstools, and the banquettes; five kinds of lighting fixtures; lots of sound and lighting items with exposed, hasty-looking wiring). The bathroom door doesn't really close and lock properly. And the restaurant is really loud, even half full. The writing on the menu, about family members and special recipes, tells me that there's pride here and real care about making a good restaurant. However, without the attention to detail (particularly cleanliness and hygiene!), that's kind of moot. Three stars instead of two here because the pizza was good and the staff obviously care about customers.
