Beware of this company, Especial for "Roofing" they are doing the job not correctly then you on your own, they get the permit of my house on a difference roofing company's License C-39 and Efficient Construction only have General contract License, something is very wrong here! And the Roofer Carlos had been told me he is employee of efficient Construction. I have to hire a difference Roofing company to finish what they "screw up" and send them the bill, they fail to respond to me on my demand letter for the amount of money I spend to fix they screw up I and up to complaint to "California State License Board" and file a small claim to recoup my loss! Following is conversation of C-39 Contractor & Owen Corning Sale Rep & myself: Hey, Rolando, how you doing? It's Johnny What? Johnny, with Roof Bro. Oh, hey. Hey, come here. How you doing? I'm good, I'm good. Hey, I have a question. Um, I'm over here with a client. Uh, he just had it roof install on a couple of weeks ago. They installed the Owens Corning system and uh, but, uh, I'm trying to explain to him that, uh, like the way they did it, they have the soffits for intake. But they installed a rich fan and they installed O'Higgins and then they installed a solar fan. Okay. So, what happens to the warranty when you have all those 3 systems for exhaust? Are they all for exhaust? Yeah, they're all for exhaust. There're enough soffits for intake, but the exhaust is belonged to me originally. Yeah, that's okay. Yeah. Yeah, so if there's ever, um, anything with the shingle or any pollen with the shingle and it's due to ventilation, then that is where the warranty might be avoided. I'm not saying it is, but it might be voided. So, when you have different exhaust systems, it could complicate the ventilation system in the attic, because you would, so you're supposed to have only one intake and one exhaust. So, uh, or one type of intake which you do at the soffits, and then one type of exhaust, which you have, uh, three. at this point. So, what you would, what you could do is cancel some of them out and the exhaust? Uh, and then you should be able to have a proper airflow in the attic space. Okay. All right. Well, which one should I cancel without? It all depends on what you want. You could cancel out the solar attic van. You could, um, cancel out the O'Hagan, um, or you, that's how it's original. So, it all depends on kind of how you want to proceed. Can I have two? Can I can I have exhaust and uh... You could, you could have the attic fan and then one type of exhaust. The only situation that could occur is that when it rains or where there when there's moisture in the air, heavy moisture in the air, the attic fan could suck in some of that moisture. Um, because of uh, Because of the because of because of there being another exhaust system. nearby. So, it could suck in some of that moisture. So, you do want to be weary of that. So, and that's in times when it's about some rain or when it's raining, just make sure that the attic fan. does not turn on. They sell it so long. It's a solar. It's a solar. Yes, yes, yes. So, you just want to be cognizant of that, but at this point, just, you know, exit out, exit one of the exhaust vents out, whether that's the ridge vet or the Hagan. And you'll definitely have proper airflow at that point. So, if I, if I, if I take the O'Hagan now, that should be fine, right? Yes, yes, absolutely. Because right now, I still have the exhaust, uh, solar exhaust, and uh, Vent, and uh, Bridge vent. So, he's got the Bridge vent. The Bridge vent, Yeah, but the solar fan is like almost, it's really close to that Richmond. So that's going to trap some moisture, right? It's going to suck in some of the moisture. Yeah. Yes, that's correct. Okay. Okay. All right. So, it all depends on how you want to do it. You could cancel out the O'Hagan vents if you want to by putting a piece of ice and water inside the attic, or you could take out the whole thing and put shingles over it. So, it all depends how you want to process.

We were actually happy when Efficient showed up on our doorstep because we could not remember the last time that our roof had been updated. The representative made a 1pm appointment with us but their sales person arrived much later when we were eating our dinner. Arman checked the wood in our attic and advised all needed wood would be replaced. He provided us with proof of the company's license and liability insurance and status with the BBB, etc. Everything sounded great. They even provided financing and a discounted price. The job took four days, seems quite labor intensive and appears to be done well. There has been one rain so far and the roof has held up great. We have a flat roof so it can be challenging. Prior to the rain, we noticed, we could see light through one of the a/c vents, the roof was installed with blow torches and a hole had been burned in the awning over the back door, the workers used our broom to clean up, voltage wires to our a/c unit and our cctv system were left exposed, the pvc pipe was left directly on the roof, the pvc pipe was disconnected and stained the ceiling in one bedroom after they had removed the old roofing material. To this day, we still wonder why they did this. All the aforementioned items have been rectified except the stain on the ceiling. We reported the damage to the ceiling and have heard nothing and have since had the damage repaired. A city inspector actually signed off on the this roofing job but never went on the roof because there were too many basic things that were done incorrectly like the pvc pipe directly on the roof and the exposed voltage line. We were also home when he was here and noticed he never went onto the roof. Before signing off on the job, Arman and another person visited us looking over our house criticizing our windows advising how much energy we were losing.

Warning: This is a long one. I bought a house in May and and needed contractor work. I guess they saw us moving in and left a flyer on our doorstep. I called regarding a roof replacement and they seemed very courteous and friendly. The man came at the agreed upon time and he said he would come back when my husband was there so "he could give his input" excuse me? I explained that it's my house and I was hiring him, so everything is with me. He went into my attic and never went on the roof! He left me with a brochure and said he would come back another time when my husband was home. Again, bro? I received another call from Efficient. They asked if they could send someone to give me an estimate and I was like "you already did!" I was told that they weren't aware of that and it was probably miscommunication. I agreed to a new guy to come out. Appt was for 3 PM, he shows up at 3:20 and asks for a ladder. Seriously.... You're a contractor coming to look at a roofing job with no ladder??? He said his wife took his work truck and ladder. We offered him ours and he said " guys, I'm so sorry but my kid has a baseball game and I don't want to miss it. Can I come back?" Absolutely not. We told him we would find another roofer and thanks. The next day he shows up at our house announced! My husband was at work and I told him through the ring camera we did NOT want their services and please leave. He proceeded to leave me a long text apologizing and saying he wanted to make it right and now I'm like "are we 17 and dating??" I told him NO again and please leave us alone. I deleted the text and blocked his number. We got a new roofer who did an excellent job. Every week or so I was getting calls from efficient trying to schedule a roof estimate. I blocked you! The roof is done! Go away! Every week they call from number starting with 310-400 and I realized the guy was texting/ calling me from his personal phone and THATS what I had blocked. My husband called the "owner" and told them to leave us alone and never show up at our house or call again. Today I get two new calls. See for yourself... This company is at the very least unprofessional and unhinged. The hidden review is 100% correct. Beware of Efficient Construction and leave us alone! Don't even respond to this review.

I would bestow a rating of zero stars if it were possible. I find it difficult to know where to begin. Initially, the two representatives who visited my home to provide an estimate insisted vehemently on the necessity of my husband's presence. Despite my explanation that he works extensive hours, their persistence remained unwavering. Once my husband arrived early to speak with them, they entered our home with a box filled with various items, determined to showcase the extraordinary qualities of their proposed paint. They conducted demonstrations before us in an effort to persuade us that they possessed the finest product on the market. My residence is a modest two-bedroom, one-bathroom house encompassing approximately 750 square feet. After indulging us in a masterclass about their so-called magical paint, which they claimed would endure for a lifetime and safeguard the "bones" of our home, they proceeded to provide their estimate. Astonishingly, they quoted us a staggering $51,000.00 for the painting project. However, upon witnessing our astonishment, they began to manipulate the circumstances. They "consulted" with their superior, who purportedly agreed to lower the price if we permitted them to place an advertising sign in our yard. Miraculously, the estimate was adjusted from $51,000.00 to $39,000.00. Observing our evident hesitation, they suggested that, since we seemed to be agreeable individuals, they would once again reach out to the "Boss" to see if he could offer us any further accommodation. With great enthusiasm, they presented us with a final offer of $31,000.00, claiming it to be an unprecedented price and the best available for the high-quality paint they advertised. After a private discussion with my husband, we resolved to inform the two men that we needed to review our finances and deliberate further on this proposition, expressing our intention to contact them the following day. One of them exchanged glances with his colleague and cautioned that the offer was time-sensitive, indicating that if we chose to reach out the next day, they could not guarantee the same terms. Since we lacked the opportunity to acquire estimates from other companies, their manipulation caught us off guard, and regrettably, we allowed ourselves to be deceived. We are still beholden to the financing for that job. Now, the paint is deteriorating, and the wood is damaged. I have repeatedly called and texted them in hopes that they would come and assess the alarming state of the paint and wood they applied to my home, yet they have ghosted me, providing no response whatsoever. I am uncertain of my next steps. I will share photographs of the inadequacies of their work on my property. I urge others to heed this warning about the company; it is truly a dreadful establishment.

Small update and noting I would give this company negative stars if I could! I recently found out they have several complaints filed in CSLB, all back to back from March-May 2022 including one complaint where they were issued a letter of admonishment. This is regarding the Bellflower location. What started as an amazing experience has turned into a disaster. My husband and I chose this company specifically for the warranty and what we thought was a great company. Project Managers, David Apodaca and Christian Payan promised us the best service yet they never checked in. Our Production Manager, Michael Bello wasn't the best communicator from the start but I overlooked it and remained positive. First red flag was they ordered the wrong material which extended the construction another 5 days, but like I mentioned we remained positive. Then one of their workers dropped a pipe into our plumbing vent on our roof. $1075.06 to fix everything and they promised to cover the costs. Everything was a rushed mess. 1 month later and nothing but the run around and false information. Michael Bello couldn't return my text messages but he has time to view my TikTok account, (profile views don't lie) Not to mention we never received our warranty. The only helpful person is Dolce at the Gardena office, I will continue to give these truthful reviews every day of this crook of a company until someone has the decency to return my calls. DO NOT use this company!!!!! read more

When they have people going to your door that you don't know and you're not home but when you get home and see your package that was left at the door is missing and you see on the ring camera this company having a shirt on took it and I've been calling to talk to them and last thing one of them said after lying about their name " not my problem" but I already have police report in my lawyer working on this case there's more to this than just construction... They're not only selling you home improvement needs... Be careful with your kids around and you see them at the door.. read more

My neighbor used this contractor to replace their roof. Honestly, I liked the way it looked so I asked my neighbor for their number. I got the contact for Eppie, he was a super red flag so idk why I continued. We have received 2 quotes on the replacement of our roof and I wanted to get one more quote for good measure. Eppie seemed nice on the phone, when I scheduled the appt he was like, are you the owner or co-owner? Long story short, he was so adamant about my husband being at the appt bc he would be so uncomfortable without my husband there. In hindsight, he wanted both parties to be there at the assessment so it would be easier to scam us. Regardless, Eppie was not the one who came and did the assessment, it was Vincent. Vincent was very thorough and gave a great explanation/presentation. My low star review is because of how pushy he was. I find it ironic that Vincent stated that some roofers can be very aggressive and pushy and he was EXACTLY that. The roof they quoted us cost 45k. Conveniently, they gave us a 15% referral fee discount and 10% first time buyer discount. Wow, so nice. The brand they use is good, but so crazy to think that a roof would cost that much without solar etc. Anyways, if Vincent wasn't so damn pushy and respected my wishes to give me 2 days to think about it, we probably would have purchased their ridiculously priced roof. read more

WORSE company I EVER hired. Anthony came into my home and overcharged me for a retrofitting. He signed me up through Goodleap (HORRIBLE FINANCE COMPANY) which keeps hitting my credit ever month and destroying my score. Even though the first payment isn't due for 16 months, it accruing interest the entire 16 months. I signed the contract for one balance and when I contacted Goodleap for the pay off balance, efficient construction added additional fees after I signed the contract. If you're considering this company.....RUNNNNNNN!!! Management for Efficient construction and Goodleap are working together so they will not help you fix a situation but they will make it worse. Efficient Construction is part of my home remodeling life! I had their specialist come provide me a literally no hassle estimate and inspection on my property. It is an older house and needed much work done. The specialist provided me a very competitive price on my roof and windows and now that they are done I am having them come over to give me another quote on my stucco and central heating and air system. I've had other companies charge me an arm and a leg and this company treated me like family. Thank you and I will be looking forward to my house being upgraded soon. In 2020, we had efficient construction install an HVAC system in our home. The first problem after installation the unit begins leaking inside the home. On two other occasions, we had them come out because the unit was not working with the thermostat. They came out to repair and install a new thermostat. Fast forward, we tried turning on the unit this summer, and it wasn't working again. We called American Home Shield to come to repair the unit. After two different repair companies coming out all say they same thing, there were a lot short cuts made in the installation, 50 amps fuse were installed in the unit, but only 30 Amp breaker were in the box. The unit was blowing the breakers because the Ampage was low. They jimmy-rige the wire the switch. This created a problem an even greater problem. In addition, all of that, I found out they used the existing intake duct, which has the unit operating and 60% capacity. Which inpact the air flow from the duct. have been calling them for two days, and all I get is :we are trying to find find someone to come out."Why did you take so long to call us?" Still, no one is returning calls. No one is responding. Instead of being called Efficient, the need to rename to the company Short Cut Construction. My sister had been putting off getting her roof repaired for a few years and almost waited too long So we got in touch with Efficient Construction after doing a little research on local roofing companies and l must admit it was a good choice. They are not the cheapest or the most expensive but I would place them near the top in product quality, workmanship and making the whole process seamless. The project manager Rome Juarez was there through every step to answer any questions or concerns. Their work crews were there on time every morning and were very professional and efficient. The whole job was completed on schedule and she has a beautiful new roof with a 50 year guarantee! So I would recommend Efficient Construction for any roofing needs. read more

They came out to give me a quote and gave me a 3,500 dollar price for a quote that 2 other companies (licensed and bonded) quote roughly 1100. The company then calls me back and says their "manufacturer had a surplus and supplies" and gave some snake oil sales pitch. They are untrustworthy. Don't go with this company. read more

This is quite simply the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. 10 times they came out to give me a quote. It started at $25000, then it went to $10500. As of today it is $17000. When I say ten times, that includes four times they just totally failed to show up or call. They apologize a lot but will never put anything in writing. TEN TIMES. read more

I can't say enough great things about the service at Efficient Construction. In the past, I've been SO frustrated with contractors and how they treated me as a female with a home. I mostly worked with Joseph, who is a phenomenal communicator with a great attitude. I also worked with Jovan and Justin who were also very professional, friendly, and communicative. I had my house and gates repainted, and they replaced and painted the fascia board around the whole house (there was bad termite damage, I'd had the house tented a couple of years ago). To be perfectly honest, I spent more than I planned to on this project - HOWEVER - I really can see the difference in this paint. It almost feels like a baked-on ceramic coating. It's thicker than normal, and I don't know how better to explain it than thar it really clings to the metal (all the gating/fencing around my house). Plus, the paint has a "lifetime" guarantee (for the while time I live in the house), which could end up being a great savings over time. So, yes, I spent more than I expected to, but I'm so happy every time I come home to my beautifully painted house. Hands down 5 stars, I highly recommend their service and their craftsmanship. They're very thorough in explaining everything about the company, insurance, and what to expect, and they stayed true to everything they said. I would definitely work with them again. read more

More like INEFFICIENT!!!!!! I requested that the owner of the company come out to see the type of work that's being done by his company after having representatives come out that were of NO help. Mr. Reilly comes out to our home says he has come to help and finally get it done and out of our hair but this guy had a chip on his shoulder once we started explaining our frustrations he had the audacity to say to us that we had buyer's remorse, I was floored..... I was like really that's your way of helping???? I said to him this is the reason I requested the owner come out, he said "I am the owner" it all makes sense now...... Efficient Construction is the most unprofessional company I have ever hired. They have no interest in customer satisfaction or the quality of their work. They were often non-responsive to my requests for updates. There was never a lead or supervisor onsite resulting in the crew having to return several times for corrections. The crew was not English speaking and I was unable to communicate with them my requests for correction. There was also never a lead present when the city inspector came to complete the permits. The original lead used his girlfriend's phone to communicate with me. When I attempted to schedule an appointment with a supervisor to voice my complaints, I was told to call back after the weekend because he would likely not respond as it was his birthday. I strongly do not recommend this company and I recommend looking up their license prior to hiring them. read more

These 2 guys came to my house saying they had an appointment, ( which I was not looking for a roof). They wanted to take a look in my attic. (This was after they got on my roof to take a look). Then they were very pushy about getting in my house to look in my attic for water damage from the roof. I felt something was very suspicious of the whole encounter. The 2 guys were very nice and polite, but very,very pushy. So I told them I am not prepared for anyone coming in my house. So we set an appointment for today. Well after they left I looked up their company and found some shady information about the co. from yelp. So I immediately called the number on the card to cancel my app. Well they showed up anyways and when my daughter called to see when I would be home from work because the guys came back. I Elizabeth had my roof, home painted and stucco. They did not do a great job with the roof, stair paint and porch paint. When they installed the new roof they forgot to install the Breathing Tub on my roof. I've been calling the company since August 2023 and now it's 9/27/23 and the job is still not done. Also my porch, front stairs and back stairs new paint bubbles up with the heat. I have been calling on a daily basis and I have been getting the run around. Every time I call they ask me the same questions: How can I help you? What's the problem? I also have been told that Thomas or Pablo will call me so they can send someone to get the jobs done. On Thursday, August 24, 2023 Thomas setup an appointment for one of his employee's to go out to my house at 5:30 p.m. "NO SHOW AND NO CALL FROM THE COMPANY". On, Friday, September 1, 2023 another schedule appointment at 9:00 a.m. again " NO SHOW AND NO CALL FROM THE COMPANY". I called the company and ask them if they were still going to come to my house for the issue. I was told that they will call me right back. Once the company called me back they told me "someone will be at your home within 45 mins. and they are on there way. Well 20 mins went by and I received a call asking me what city are YOU in Los Angeles or Santa Monica? The young man arrives at my home and checks the issue and that's after me telling him the whole story of the reason why he is at my house. The young man did not have any paperwork or a file on the issue or work order with him. Before he leaves, he tells me don't worry Ms. we will send out a plumber or the roofers to install the tub and a painter for your porch, front stairs and back stairs. NOTE: I HAD COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS ONCE THE JOB HAD STARTED AND OTHER ISSUES HAD ARISEN. I WAS CONSTANTLY CALLING THE COMPANY AND COMPLAINING ABOUT THE ROOFERS, ETC. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. read more

I really wish I could give a zero. This company took thousands of dollars from an 80+ year old woman under the guise of 'doing work'. The two bedrooms that were done both have issues; the ceiling is falling apart. The tiles they used are falling down. I wish I could post a photo. A friend has had to staple the tile back up; some we have just left down. They have been reported to the Better Business Bureau. Wondering if the positive reviews have been purchased? They seem nice and responsive. But then they do the work and when there's a problem with the work, they never came and take care of it. They sold us on some extensive paint that immediately started cracking just like the latex paint. They have come out and assessed it and have agreed that it needs to be fixed. Regarding the Bellflower location. I wish I would have read these reviews before I signed up for this company to do any work on my property. What started as an amazing experience has turned into a disaster. I picked this company because it offered the best price for the vinyl fence I want. Project Manager, Peter Kim promised me the best service yet he never checked in, no follow up calls or text messages. Do not use these people. They are not to be trusted. Quick to get work from you but will Not return to fix issues when you have a warranty. They replaced my roof in 2019. I've been trying to get someone out to check my roof for 3 weeks now because I am concerned that there is a leak. I've called 2-3 times a week and get the run around. I get the whole " Jovon is assigned to you he will call you back". Spoke to the office manager Cesar told me he would follow up 3 weeks later still waiting. I called Cesar on his cell phone and he sent me straight to voicemail but got a text a minute later stating that he would call me back and then texted "any leads?" I assume he thought I was one of his con artists looking for people to scam. At this point even if they sent someone out, can I really trust what they find? If I could give them zero stars I would. Don't end up like me... out thousands of dollars for a "30 year warranty" that they won't stand by. Save yourself time and headache look elsewhere for any work that needs to be done on your home. Efficient Construction negotiated with me for a price to fit my budget. Alvin and Dylan were very professional in their presentation of the companies' use of Owens Corning product. Ivan and his team (Leo, Ivan) started my roof replacement, due to termite damage to the rafters and facsia, they were also replaced. The project started as scheduled and was completed as projected. So after all we went through with this company trying to get every dime out of my grandma and have her pay $50,000$ and constantly nagging her to sign documents. My grandma called them and cancelled. Just yesterday a project manager calls her and asks how her new roof is doing ?! Like is communication that bad ?! She literally cancelled on you guys and the PROJECT MANAGER. Our neighborhood got canvassed by one of their employees offering free estimates for potential general contractor work. We said we would reach out to schedule time and then three people arrived at our doorstep the next day citing a scheduled appointment that we did not make. We let them in to give us an estimate on insulation, but it was pretty clear from the get that they were only interested in trying to sell us on a new roof despite us telling them upfront that we were not interested in taking on that work at this time. They never got back to us with estimates of the work we let them in to assess. An absolute waste of time. Approach with caution. read more

Before I contacted anyone to have my roof done, I needed to do some homework and got up there and…read moreassessed the condition of my roof. The shingles were 30 years old, worn out, and on top of one or more layers. The seals around the vents and flashing were cracked from age and weather. There were considerable wood damage from dry rot and termites. This was going to be a big expensive job. I had estimates from four roofers found on Yelp all bonded and licensed. I reviewed the estimates, their contracts, materials offered, wood replacement costs, response to contingencies, and answers to questions I had of the whole process. Steve and Nik of Accurate Roofing Solutions came up on top. Their wood replacement costs were from low to average compared to others. If the wood replacement cost was high, the roofing estimate would balloon quickly. What if it rains? Is there extra cost to tarp the roof during that time? There was no extra charge with Accurate. Other deciding factors in my selection of Accurate is that they were in the South Bay. They had their own construction team and don't use contract labor. They knew how this beach city permit and inspection system works and got me through it with no issues. My entire experience with Accurate Roofing Solutions has been very pleasant right from the very beginning when Steve sent his project manager, Nik to inspect my roof and provide me an estimate. After awarding the job to Accurate Roofing, Nik and I discussed what is needed to prepare the house before his team shows up. I had to provide access, overhanging tree branches removed, provide power, and cover furniture etc. with plastic sheeting or tarp to protect them from falling debris from an open ceiling which we had in the kitchen, dining room, and garage. The project took 4 days. On the first day, 3 layers of old roofing were removed and the damaged wood replaced. The second day, the city inspected and OK'd the roof structure. The third and fourth day they were installing the new plastic sheeting, GAF Timberline shingles, and new vents. The latter were painted to match the shingles. The job was complete and on the 5th day, the city inspector came by gave the final OK. I am happy with how the job turned out. Thanks Steve and Nik!

This is the worst type of company to ever exist they come out and knock on your door without mask's on and jeopardize the health of your children and high risk family members and this is just the beginning. Then they send some guy on drugs named Ben or whatever he calls himself because he is not listed on the CSLB website or the better business bureau as he stated he was. After the first initial roof project it went very smoothly although ben would not return our calls and there was a lot of wood that was supposed to be replaced and wasn't. This was our 2nd major RED flag!! They would only replace 100 feet of wood because that is what he put on the contract!! They would not recognize any verbal agreements promised by Ben! Not to mention my 2nd project which was a paint product which is already peeling and bubbling after 2 months. Cesar said we will get around to it when we can we all have COVID-19 right now so we have to put off all service complaints for the time being. I was them transferred to some guy named Pablo the manager who said don't worry will take care of it, but its too late now. I will have to file a complaint with the BBB and CSLB and maybe they will fix This home depot work! If they resolve the issues I will update the review but for now buyer beware!!! read more

Be aware. Possible predatory behavior. The pitch is that they have canvassed the neighborhood for homes that need repair. The sales representative said his name was Roberto Guzman. He claimed he was the co-owner of the company (He is not listed as the owner or on the salesperson list under the contractor's license). He was pushy and continued to try to schedule an inspection to provide an estimate. He made a call to get credit for the sales contact and then started asking questions that were irrelevant to his sales pitch. I interjected and assertively told him we were not interested. He persisted and continued to try and schedule an appointment. I told him not to show up again and I would call if we were interested in their business. I told him I would first check their website, check their license and read online reviews. I found two website links and neither were active. I checked the status of their business license in the city of Gardena, it expired on 12/21. (The City of Gardena website indicates it updates information on a weekly basis.) The Better Business Bureau website only indicated their profile was being updated. From reading other reviews, I'm concerned this company may be taking advantage of homeowners and possibly targeting senior citizens. read more

I want to begin by saying a big, thank you, to the Effcient Construction Team! For the time in a long time, a solid effort was made to help make my parents feel comfortable getting work done to their house. About ten years ago, they were basically robbed by a contractor so up until Efficient Construction came knocking on their door they were flat out not interested. Efficient really went the extra mile to prove to my parents that safety, value, and commitment to impeccable work was of their greatest importance. They went above and beyond in every way and I couldn't imagine having the roof done by any one else. Whenever we had a question they had an answer. Although the team worked great from beginning to end, I must say that Evin really played a major part in getting answers to all our questions. Even in times when he did not have the exact answer, he reassured us he would get it immediately, and never failed once. In conclusion, if you have ever been for lack of better terms, played, misled or lied to, rest assured Efficient Construction is the company that will have you feeling as though you made a great choice. Efficient Construction is amazing! The Mike is friendly, prompt, reliable and only does high quality work he can stand behind. His team was courteous, clean, respectful and hardworking. The scope of my job was large and some other reputable roofers were unable to even provide estimates, primarily because the oversize skylight (60 sq feet +) required special construction to be adequately supported. Mike didn't bat an eyelash at the size and got me a quote within minutes. I knew right then that he was the right guy for the job. Not the cheapest quote of them all but the quality of the work is far superior and the pleasantness of the experience was well worth the cost. Plus he stands behind his work with a guarantee that far surpasses what other people offered, and was even willing to put in a clause saying that the guarantee remains in effect if ownership changes. His team was so great I wished they could do ALL the work that my building needs! But they specialize for a reason, and it shows. Efficient Construction is the best, hands down. read more

I had my roof done, and they did such an amazing job. I had a very good experience working with them. Mike was the person that oversaw the project and crew, and I can't thank him enough for the great communication and status updates leading to the week of the project. I don't think I ever had to follow up with him. Even during the week of the project, and afterwards, he would tell me when the inspector would come by or what I can expect that day. I notified my neighbors prior to the start of the project, to give them a courtesy notice and not once did they ever comment on the crew working. They cleaned up all the debris at the end of the day, everyday, and picked up all the nails on the ground. Last thing I want is to pop my new neighbor's tires . They finished the project in about three or four days. From them handling the permits, paperwork, communication with the city, it was just added to the good experience. Our home needed paint and replacement of some rotten wood, so we got an estimate from Efficient. To their credit, they told me I should have a few problems with the roof fixed before painting, which we did. They offer the Cool Life product, which has a 50 year warranty, and we went with that. There are lots of painters out there, but what impressed me was the attention to detail shown by all the workmen and staff I worked with. They worked with my schedule so I was able to observe their work, and you can tell when a man has pride in his work as opposed to just getting the job done as quick as possible. Their guys did a better job than I have the patience to do. They have a "no cost increase" policy, which was great for us because we had a lot more rotten wood than was anticipated and this was either replaced or changed to stucco at no extra cost. I normally don't post reviews, but I thought it would be helpful to share my experience and thoughts about this company with a few people, because the contracting industry is known for scammers. However, this company seems to have a different approach. Although, they are not the cheapest, I really felt comfortable with my decision once I met Kevin. He said he was a manager or the owner, but he seems to really know his stuff. I have been in this house for almost 15 years and I didn't realize how badly my outside walls needed fixing. I thought about it for a few days and had a few other estimates and most were cheaper, one was half the price, but I didn't feel the confidence that they knew their trade as well as Kevin did, which led me to hiring them and I am grateful I did, because wow, they took a day longer than promised, but the walls look so much better. I recently hired EF to replace my roof and am very content with the experience and final results. Compliments from my neighbors can also testify that the roof looks great. The job was finished quickly, in about a week, with no complications other than an electrical issue that they were quick to respond to and resolve, even after I'd already approved payment. I tried to stay home and watch the process as much as I could and was impressed by their professionalism, as well as the Owens Corning method they incorporate to ensure I have a solid roof that protects my home for years to come, and the lifetime warranty built more confidence. We had major roof issues and had put off getting a new roof for years. Luckily we were met with a canvasser from Efficient who set us up with an appointment for a free estimate good for a year. Eddie and Jared came out and did a fantastic job of explaining the scope of work and our options. Having been burned with dead beat contractors in the past, we were initially reluctant but ultimately were very happy with our decision to go with Efficient Construction. Eddie and Jared showed up day 1 as promised and continued checking in until the completion of the job. Now there were a couple of minor issues: some paint and stucco chipping after the roof tear off and some loose debris left on our water heater, However upon bringing this to their attention , they resolved the issues. All in all, I give them an A+ for quality and communication! read more

I've had other companies come out before and I've had terrible experiences with them. At first I was a bit sketchy due to other construction companies in the past, but this is by far the best service I've ever had getting work done on my home. My roof is absolutely perfect, and I have no more leaks. They were definitely reasonable in price and were helpful answering all my questions whether it be with finance or even just doing the job. I knew I could trust them as far as references because they did a job for my neighbor down the street and I was impressed. Thank you Thomas for being so nice and such a big help. If I could find anyone who needs to to get some work done on their home. I would definitely recommend Efficient Construction. They keep to their name! read more

I found this company through a neighbor of mine. I set an appointment & Dalton came by to access what would be needed to replace our windows with something up to date. It's my grandmothers home & she still had her original wood windows. Most have been broken since I was a kid & the ones that were somehow still in tact were stuck shut. Dalton & his team were great in guiding us through our options & stayed in communication every step of the way. The process took only ONE DAY to replace all 19 of our windows! When the job was done Dalton made sure to do a final inspection with us to make sure all was done according to plan & that we were all happy. Alvin and Rome from Efficient Construction recently remodeled the bathroom for us. My 2 daughters needed a space more open and functional. Alvin listened to our ideas and the vision we had for the space and was able to offer suggestions to make the space even more functional and beautiful. He was always great to have around and his work is impeccable. As with all remodels there is always something lurking behind the walls and he was able to handle all the bumps the house and we threw at him. These past rain storms brought a leak to our house. I found it unbelievable because the next day a polite knock on my door asked if we were taking quotes for our roof. It was strange at first but he provided his licensed business card and told me of county approved programs for these projects. My wife and I decided to accept a consultation and we couldn't be happier for everything. 2 weeks later my roof is complete as expected and my house feels really secure. We were shown discounts and financing programs to help us with this job and Efficient Construction upheld their promise to the core. I recommend this company to anyone seeking to remodel their house. Sales representative Vincent was AWESOME. He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with every project. He called abd stopped by multiple times during and after each project. Jacob was great with correcting any design concerns and made sure the great workers were all on the same page with me. I referred my mother, neighbors who asked and my mail lady. So far my mom reached out and is having work done and she's satisfied. There was 1 manager who was horrible and disrespectful but im mature to know that the company is not the blame for poor human being behavior. So THANK YOU Vincent & Jacob for taking care of us. We had stucco, pavers, windows and insulation done on our house. The crews on the various projects were great and meticulous. We were very satisfied with their work. The windows and insulation made the most difference in keeping our home warm with the cold weather and cool when the temperature rose to the mid to high 80's. The quality of all the work done was excellent and we feel the value is more than worth it. Justin Cuen, Matthew Hunt and Ryan Vasquez were our contacts and they were great! Just moved into our fixer upper and got an estimate from efficient for 18 thousand to replace our 40 year old roof, UNFORTUNATELY we chose another roofer (Juarez roofers) that quoted us 10 thousand, then less than half way asked for another 4 thousand for "unexpected damage" but couldn't tell us what it was, then found out their license was not valid! so we called back Thomas from Efficient he was very clear and detailed and they only asked for a small deposit of one thousand and did a PERFECT JOB and we didn't pay until they were done! now we are trying to get our money back from juarez roofers I think they are from whittier (thats what they said any way) read more

Although I didn't conduct business with this company I would like to take a moment to appreciate the work of a young man knocking in my neighborhood. I noticed on my cameras that a guy in a yellow vest was knocking on doors. I found it odd that he skipped mine. I wanted to know what matter he had in the community so I went outside and approached him. I asked him why he skipped my house and in response, he said he noticed my no soliciting sign I had forgotten about when I bought my house. He said he respected the sign and that shows me this company follows its integrity. Maybe in the future we can work something out. Thank you for the respect and honesty. read more

Called efficient Construction at their Cerritos office to have some work done on my house. The work I needed done was significant including new window throughout the house. Throughout the entire process someone was always on site to make sure the work was done properly and on time. They did a fantastic job and at a reasonable price. The entire staff at the Cerritos office were absolutely amazing and whenever I had to call for something they always returned my call promptly.
