Lucky, lime

My favorite time of the year Lucky line, so delicious and refreshing had to stop by to also try out the new cinnamon sugar pretzel bites, the drink never disappoints the pretzels. Could've used a little bit more sugar and cinnamon, but they are very tasty and you get quite a bit. Also, picked up a pizza pretzel that was lacking in the sauce, but it had plenty of cheese and was soft and warm .

Service was lacking. The slushy was tasty! Had never heard of them before, so had to try it. Not sure I'd come back though. If I'm in the area during the summer, maybe...

Spicy Chicken & Bacon

First time at this location. Ordered an 8 inch spicy chicken and bacon to go with a skinny berry strawberry ice. Service was quick, food was exceptional. The skinny berry has no sugar and has fruit. All good here.

If I could give this location a zero I would. This is the worst experience I've had in a fast food restaurant ever. I don't blame the employee but I do blame upper management, whoever was supposed to be the "MOD", SEVERE LACK of staff and lack of training. I gone there multiple times without an issue but today they were EXTREMELY under staffed and there was zero customer service. They're a busier location by St Mary's hospital. Knowing this I placed an online order (at Noon) for pick up at 12:30 for a while original grinder and fries. I showed up at 12:40 and was ignored for over 5 minutes while standing next to the "pick up your online over here". Finally made one of the guys aware of my order when he came up and gave someone else their food (still didn't say hi or ask if I had been helped). AFTER WAITING 10 MINUTES AND SEEING CUSTOMERS WHO ORDERED IN THE STORE AFTER I ARRIVE GET THEIR FOOD, I asked what the ETA was for my order and was told "oh probably 5 or 10 minutes". I just canceled my order and left. I did the online order knowing they were going to be busy and I had a short time frame for work. Honestly, I probably won't ever go back to that location if I ever go back to an eegee's store in general.

Katrina, the manager, gave my gf and I the best customer service I've ever experienced. Give that girl a raise.

Located downtown, your best bet is parking on the street (free at night). Ambiance (3.5/5): Pretty much your typical pizza joint. Small no frills counter to order from with a handful of tables on the front patio. A lot of people order takeout. Here's the twist. Walk down the narrow corridor on the right and you'll come across a hidden bar in the back. You can eat your pizza back here and order from the bar as well. That definitely takes things up a notch! Service (2/5): Empire is known for their elote pizza which is exciting because that's not something you come across every day. From reading reviews, they're often out of it though. Which is exactly what happened when I stopped by. Here's what weird though. After eating and drinking at the bar, when I left, I noticed that they now had elote pizza. After they told me an hour previously that they were all out. Hmm... had I known I would've waited and had a drink in the meantime. Weird. Drinks (3.5/5): Pretty much your standard assortment of drinks at a full bar. I went with a local beer (a prickly pear sour) which was good. The bartender was nice enough to provide me with several samples without me even asking. Nice touch but outweighed a bit by the pizza snafu. Food (3/5): With the elote pizza out of the equation, I went with something a lot more tame... a slice of pepperoni. The pizza here is NY style which I love. Everyone has their preferences with pizza. I like mine a little greasy. Which isn't the case here. That took things down a notch for me. Not bad pizza by any means, about average in my book.

What a pleasure to see the menu- not too overbearing , yet plenty of options on the 4 pages. The variety of offerings were usual fare in basic sense of any place serving Me Ivan food yet- not. Who has crispy avocado tacos for instance? Mexican style quesadilla? We ended up each getting the Classic Burrito- however this is not for the person who eats like a bird. It is HUGe and we saw reason for $17 price- my goodness- this is second day since going and eating lunch from it today and I still have enough left for third meal and maybe another! The Birria meat- best so have had besides a friend making it slightly better but close! The peppers I added to mine- delicious! The service happy and kind - even when my older mother "needed" a paper receipt- "Sigh" The ambiance is nice as you stand in line under shade to order then have the option to sit in courtyard and eat or take home. We took ours as she had to get home to her dog - we both agreed it was delicious and we would return! Highly recommend!

Three people in our group ordered the surf and turf, either as burritos or tacos, and none of us enjoyed it. Both burritos had a strip of cold, unmelted cheese running through them, and the tortillas were undercooked. The shrimp was overcooked. When we asked if the cheese could be melted, the waiter checked with the kitchen and returned to tell us that the kitchen said they do not melt the cheese. The bartender was attentive and aware of our needs, but unfortunately, the rest of the male staff were not. Overall, the food and service were both disappointing.
