Today was the first time I have been to Eegees. My kids had a free kid size slushie from their summer reading program and both ordered pina colada. They came out and were orange. Both of my kids tried it and said it tasted like mango. I tried it and agreed it was mango. I talked to the workers and they confirmed it was pina colada. I told them it tasted like mango and had mango chunks but they again reassured it was pina colada. I have a mild reaction to mango and by this point I was feeling it on my tongue. To make me feel better they gave me a 3rd mango. My kids hated them and were very sad. We threw them away and left. Not a good first experience. read more

I would not recommend this location. They started out strong, but nosedived almost immediately. I've been coming here since they opened, and each visit has been worse than the last. I must be a slow learner because there has been no good experience to report, and I kept giving them one more chance. Today was the last chance. After the same sarcastic, degrading treatment from the poorly trained employees, I'd had enough. I told the female manager, who said I didn't need her name, about the consistently terrible service, and the smart remarks from the guy at the window today, she thought it was appropriate to laugh and dismiss my concerns. First time trying eegee's, used the drive thru. I was the only one in line and wanted a moment to look at the menu but was immediately rushed. Seemed like he was having a bad day or was stressed or something, and it was annoying that I was there. At the window, I received my food but was sent to another window where no one was because they didn't have everything at the first window. Then another vehicle came in and ended up pulling behind me after receiving his food. No one came to the second window. There was another employee, but he was helping the in store customers, so I ended up just leaving so I wasn't blocking other vehicles. Visited on a Tuesday night craving a tuna sandwich. There was only two cars ahead of me and the ordering window was empty. Waited over ten minutes for someone to even speak to me. Come to find out they're out of tuna so I ask for the chicken bacon ranch- it's been discontinued. Left with nothing but a waste of my time. read more

I love eeggees, I've been going here my whole life back in Tucson... but you have been warned on this one on Crismon and the 60- SLOWESTTTTT drive through line of all time. Tucson bred family here and we LOVE this location. It's exactly what you'd expect an Eegees to be. Except the awesome style of the building which is so different than any other location (and we've been to almost all of them). The staff was excellent. I feel they're new and getting into their groove but the food was perfect. The service was excellent as well; the cashier frequently checked on guests and ensured our food was to our liking (I've never experienced that at an Eegees). Anyone who knows of the Eegees franchise knows they're not just known for their "Eegees" but known for their fries with ranch as well...which were perfection. Read reviews before coming so went in with some expectations. Service was great. Big drive thru line and people inside and did not wait long. Guy who took order was great. Gave tips and suggestions based of others and what he likes. The ranch fries were very good. The bushes were fantastic. Unfortunately the subs were nothing to write home about. The bread was not very soft. And my thought is the grinder meat should've been warmed up. We will go back for the slashes in fries. read more

It's close to the house so I've been to this location several times and the one in Gilbert a couple times as well. Only sandwich I've had is their hot pastrami, which is very good. The wife had a turkey sandwich once and said it was just okay. The fries look pretty ordinary so I've passed on those and their signature smoothies are of no interest. Access to the Crismon location seems to be a problem (it isn't an easy in and out location), but it is what it is, I suppose. In a very competitive market, I'm not sure their food will draw enough customers to stay afloat. All in all, pretty average with nothing that really stands out. read more

This was our first time at an Eegee's and it was a pleasant one. The staff was actually very friendly and that is what will bring us back next time. From the first contact we were welcomed and they acted like we were the best customers ever. I appreciated that. I know it's all newly built and staffed so they are training new people but I must say that they picked some friendly ones (unlike some places I've been to before where the staff is rude). The food was good. Something I'll order when I feel like a salad or a sandwich. I only tried the Deluxe Grinder but have to try the meatball sandwich and also the Italian salad soon. Absolutely horrible service! Waited over 30 minutes for a small fry & shaved ice, and there were still 2 cars in front of me! People in the line were honking their horns because they were stuck. I had already paid, and was next to the window you pay at, so I requested a refund. They said they don't know how to do that, so I left (there was an exit next to that window as well). I emailed the company requesting a refund that same day (over a week ago) and never heard back. Don't take customers orders or money if you aren't going to provide the food in a reasonable amount of time! This was my first and last time at Egees. read more

Really unfortunate to rate it this way. We have come here often. The food is pretty good. But the service is very poor. And has gotten worse. Today Jaycee was the worst customer service I have experienced ever. Simply asking for ketchup and ranch was a pain. I was yelled at and told to ask for it at the other window. I had already asked at the window and it was on our ticket. Jaycee then gave 3 small packets of ketchup for 4 orders of chicken nuggets. I am from Tucson and this is by far the worst Eegees that I have been to. Not only did I wait in the drive thru for 20 minutes, and I was the third car from the front of the line, but the staff was unbelievably RUDE!!! My fries were left out of my order. I asked for my order of fries and the manager said they were in the bag. I had to show her through the drive thru window that they were not in the bag. After and eye roll and sigh, I got my fries which were cold. I get home and they gave me the completely wrong sandwich, not even close to what I ordered! Come here for the drinks. I love the Eegees but the subs are pretty subpar. They are still stuck in 1980's hoagie land. Sandwiches have evolved so much, but these guys stay the same. Let me just say I love eegee's. I would give them five stars but I can't. I've been here between 60 and 100 times. I love all the flavors of the eegees. The sandwiches are good not great but definitely edible. My major complaint is don't take their word that your order is correct. Every time you receive your order you must check it before you leave. 9 out of 10 times it is incorrect. The employees there are so stoned and not paying attention to details. I have nothing against potheads however when the mistakes happen on the daily it just becomes annoying. This will not stop me from returning on a weekly basis. One person quoted bacon on a vegetarian fries meal. The bacon is vegetarian believe it or not. The original grinder is pretty decent and the spicy grinder is really spicy. The pastrami sandwich is okay. The meatball sandwich is yummy. All in all if you can accept your order will be wrong when you receive it and then they will have it fixed. I wanted to try this chain since it recently opened in our area. What a major letdown! Ordered 5 sandwiches and two types of fries. Besides the soggy roll the meat is highly processed lunch meat and mostly tastless. It's on par with a gas station sandwich. Finding this new location is not difficult. It's very well lit at night and it's right next to the freeway which makes it easy to spot. The drive through line was not bad when we got there. There is 2 people taking order and when ordering and asking questions they were very kind and helpful. They give you your drinks when you pay so you can sip on the delicious eegee well you wait for your food! The flavor of the month was was delicious and I highly recommend. The menu looked great but, the food was unfortunately not good quality. Who ever was working today did not want to be making the food. The fries had barely any cheese or bacon bits, the lettuce used in the sandwhich and wrap was old, and the sauce in the wrap literally filled my mouth when I took a bite, etc. I never complain but cheesy fries with bacon bits is not hard to make and could have had more effort into making it good for the customers.
