This review is just for the burrito because that's all I've had…read more The tortilla is top-notch. Honestly, it's probably the best burrito tortilla I've had from any Mexican spot in Arizona. The problem is the meat. The meat is just average. If they upgraded the meat, this might be the best burrito in Arizona. That's how good the tortilla is. But because the meat doesn't match the tortilla, it ends up being just a really solid burrito instead of an amazing one. I haven't tried anything else on the menu, so I can't speak on the rest of the food. But if we're talking burritos... Best tortilla I've had. Average meat. Good overall, but it leaves you thinking about what it could've been.

Making sure our drinks and chips were stocked before they went empty. She was very personable and made me want to ask her to be my friend because she was so lovely haha! Chips were served with a mild and spicy salsa, both of which were delectable. I loved the HH house frozen margarita. You could tell there was tequila in there but it wasn't overwhelming. We then ordered the elote dip... definitely recommend! Husband got the carne asada torta which he said was very good. I tried the carne asada street taco (very small, but good), along with the shrimp ceviche tostada. Everything was great. We will be back!

During our previous visit, we experienced several issues, including food being served at different times, soup arriving with the main course instead of beforehand, and being given an incorrect receipt. I spoke with the owner after that visit and was promised that our next meal would be comped as an opportunity to give the restaurant another chance. We returned with friends, hoping for a much better experience, but unfortunately, the service was still subpar. The service lacked friendliness and engagement, which made the overall dining experience less enjoyable than it should have been. For the price of the meal, you would expect a much higher level of service, attentiveness, and hospitality. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. It's disappointing when you give a restaurant another chance in good faith, only to leave feeling that the experience still falls short of expectations. I believe every restaurant deserves an opportunity to make things right, but consistency, quality service, and making guests feel welcome are essential, especially at this price point. Unfortunately, this visit did not leave us feeling confident about returning.

Didn't feel like shelling out $20.95 for shrimp or fish soup so I went the safe route of two tacos special. Went with shredded chicken and beef Tacos. Complimentary salsa and chips were nice and they did a good job making sure I Sala bowl didn't stay empty for long time. Salsa was very tasty. Main dish came and I have to they beans were Luke warm and rice was OK but nothing special. Tacos were yummy, shredded beef and chicken did not have lot of flavor by itself but they were moist. Over all dish was pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary. I do have to say they charge little high for a diet coke.. But my friend ordered that . This place is more 3 and half but not 4 for me.

They were packed with a generous amount of beef and the consommé was just as delicious. The tacos were so filling that I could only finish one! The brisket was good though I've definitely had better. They also offer three different sauces and we enjoyed all of them. The restaurant itself is pretty small and it was very busy the entire time we were there which says a lot about how popular this place is. They do have a large outdoor patio but it was way too hot to sit outside even with the misters. We sat at the long high top table inside and it felt tight especially with people in line right next to us. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely go back to try some other dishes and definitely more birria tacos.

I ordered the brisket taco and elote, both of which were excellent. The brisket was beautifully tender, the pico tasted incredibly fresh, and the pickled onions added just the right amount of brightness to balance the richness of the meat. The elote was equally satisfying, perfectly cooked and generously seasoned. My husband opted for the birria taco and made quick work of both the taco and its accompanying consommé. Service was warm, attentive, and impressively efficient. We spent around $42 for three tacos, a side, and a drink, which felt reasonable for the quality. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the Mexi-Q Twinkies, but I suppose that's as good an excuse as any to come back!

This restaurant is decorated so cutely. I love how there is a Baja influence with all the surf boards but also southwest appeal. There is plenty of seating and tables for big groups. I literally overate like it was Thanksgiving. Wife is a vegetarian and the menu was a bit slim for her, especially since salad was off-limits due to Cyclospora outbreak - not taking any chances. Server apologizes again. Wife orders a medium sized margarita on the rocks. 10-12 mins pass... And finally we get the correct fajitas. (With a brand new setup plate too. Yay) We get the bill... The dang margarita costs the same as the fajitas! $20 for a margarita is too much. If the price was disclosed when we ordered we would have skipped it. Not a good value. Our bill was $45 for one order of fajitas and one margarita. (I drink water) LOL: Table next to us is a dude clearly on a tinder date. She's got three empty $20 margarita glasses. He has one. The perks of being a bigger party everyone orders something different and you get to try it all lol the food was good but nothing stood out as super delicious. We tried their chips and salsa, green chile cornbread, potato tacos, egg rolls, pozole, the pasta, shrimp cocktail, the chile rellenos, and the steak. The dishes I would not order again are the potatoes, the churro ice cream. The potatoes were super crispy/dry. The churro ice cream was also crunchy and dry, not what I want for my potato or churros. The pozole taste was good but the consistency is not what you expect from the pozole. Overall it was a good experience.
