At my first appointment on September 22, 2025, the hygienist only cleaned half of my teeth in about 30 minutes and told me to come back later in the week to finish. Then the office claimed that this second visit would count as my "second cleaning." So basically, they tried to count one cleaning split into two sessions as the two cleanings I paid for. That's like paying for two burritos and being given one burrito cut in half -- it's absurd. This whole situation was incredibly stressful, frustrating, and felt like a complete scam. It honestly ruined my week trying to sort it out. Their own brochure clearly states "two professional cleanings," yet I only got half of one. The experience left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of, and I would strongly warn others to stay away or double-check everything before paying.

I experience moderate discomfort during routine dental visits, and his team always goes above and beyond to ensure that I'm comfortable throughout my visit. My former dentist would fault me for this: "you dont floss enough or brush thoroughly..etc" was their reason for my consistent discomfort. At this clinic, I experience none of that. You're uncomfortable? Okay we'll numb you- no more pain and leaving in a bad mood after treatment. I am always greeted very kindly by the girls up front and my hygienist. She pulled my mouth so wide open she literally tore my labial tissue connecting my lip to my gums. If that wasn't bad enough, she carelessly spilled the bleach in my mouth, on my nose, tongue, upper & lower gums and outer lip. It burned so bad i had blisters in my upper and lower gums, outside my lips and on the right side of my nose. It burned and blistered from Friday to Monday. As a retired cop, I've been maced many times in the line of duty, but this was so much worse. After the fact, she did apologize, the carelessness was nonetheless unacceptable. Dr.Mercado did check in with me, but provided no form of compensation for a job that was incomplete nor for what I had unfortunately gone through. Im not only paying a small fortune for my procedure, but it seems as though every time I go there I'm being billed for something else outside of what I initially agreed to. I had assumed that for the high price tag it was all inclusive. I was wrong. I was charged for a tooth exam and was told I needed nearly 5 thousand dollars more in dental work. Funny, because my last visit to my local hygienist/Dentist, said my teeth looked great that my hygiene was great snd my gums were doing much better. Not at all happy thus far for the tremendous amount of money I've paid thus far. My experience has been one big disappointment after another. If something doesn't change soon, I will stop going to this practice. Could this just be an isolated incident, maybe, but all it takes is one bad experience to ruin a persons day or in my case-weekend.

I scheduled a routine cleaning at the next available appointment, which was already two months out. Just days before my appointment, I received a text message stating that their hygienist had left the practice and that they would not be able to accommodate me until October--an additional four-month wait. What is especially frustrating is that the message made it sound as though there was only one hygienist in the entire practice, which I know is not the case. Staffing issues and scheduling challenges should not come at the expense of patients' oral health. Waiting months for a cleaning is already difficult enough, but to be notified only days before the appointment after I had already adjusted my work schedule is extremely disappointing. I genuinely like my dentist and have had positive experiences in the past, but I cannot justify waiting until October for a routine cleaning. As a result, I will be looking for a new dental office that can provide more timely care and better accommodate its patients

I was eventually refunded for that in addition to the amount I had to pay out of pocket to have the work fixed by another dentist. By far the worst dental experience I have ever had. While the aesthetic was nice that is the only thing good I have to say. I did not have tooth pains before I went here and ever since I have had terrible pain in my teeth and jaw.I was told I had to have a root canal and they referred me to a place that charged $500 for the just consult alone which did not go towards the actual work itself. I didn't have any pain before I went there and now I experience pain regularly. Not only that but I was also told I needed other root canals. This was untrue. I have since been to a much better/trustworthy dentist office that not only told me that I do NOT need additional root canals but they also had to fix a filling that was done by Lush that I had to pay out of pocket for because it was within the timeframe given by insurance. Therefore I had to pay double to fix the work they did poorly due since the tooth had just been worked on. I discourage anyone from ever going here and having to experience what I did.
