Great dental clinic! Caring staff abd very kind and gentle dentist.

Very friendly staff, excellent service, every time. Recently, I went in for a cleanup and the Dr. noticed a small cavity that needed filling (apparently I should be flossing). Typically, this would require a separate appointment to be made but, as a student attending college out of town, my next availability wouldn't be for a few months. So Dr. Santamaria used his lunch break to get the work done for me because he felt it wouldn't be smart to wait. This kind of flexibility and accommodation is much appreciated and is why I've given a five star rating. read more

Dr. Santamaria is the best dentist I have gone to and I have gone to a quite a few in my lifetime. He is extremely gentle and is wonderful at describing what is being done and what will be done. He has worked on a range of dental needs including tricky bridge work, multiple extractions of wisdom teeth and even dental whitening, which gives me my white teeth to this day. I feel very relaxed in his setting and with his much appreciated kindness and caring dialogue of what was happening. His staff is welcoming and super knowledgeable at all times. I am very lucky to be going to Dr. Santamaria! read more

This place is now under the alia of "NorCal Dental Spa" BEWARE!!! RUDE, DIFFICULT and CONDESCENDING Front Desk Staff. I've only been here once for a teeth cleaning and will not be back due to rude and aggressive staff. I believe she said her name is Darlene. At the end of my visit, I asked for my treatment plan via email, to which Darlene replied, "You probably won't be able to read it" in a condescending tone. I asked her to give it a try. I had to repeatedly play phone tag with her 6-7 more times before it was finally sent. During the last call to the office, attempting to get the plan emailed, I asked if there was an issue with being sent the treatment plan and she yelled " I never said it would be was an issue, that's just not how we do business!". So I should blindly accept costs associated with the treatment plan? I don't think so. Also, even though you can make appointments online, the receptionist refused to offer appointment times via email. You have to play phone tag for that too. I'm not interested in being treated rudely and disregarded so I finally asked for my records to be transferred to another dental office but instead of sending a release to me via docusign (easiest, smartest option), they are holding them hostage until I physically go back into the office to sign it. But the catch is, they have strange office hours that all occur while I'm at work. Save yourself the headache and find a better dental office that respects their patients. This place is a ridiculous. read more

Dr. Santamaria is an absolutely incredible dentist! He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and professional. When I was 8 months pregnant, I had an urgent dental issue and Dr. Santamaria went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and well taken of! I've been going to Dr. Santamaria for nearly 20 years now. Not only is he a great dentist, but he's a great person as well. About 12 years ago I had a crown break on a Saturday. Dr Santamaria had me meet him at his office, even though the office was closed, and he set me up with a temporary crown that day. He's one of the doctors who really cares about his patients. read more

Dr SantaMaria is by far the kindest human being I've had a privilege to know. It shows in his dentistry also. Not only him but his entire staff. He's extremely brilliant and the work he does is fabulous, reasonable and long lasting. Unlike some dentists I've visited, he only does what's necessary keeping you healthy at the same time. I love him and his entire staff. I can only give him five stars but he deserves twice that amount. Highly highly recommend him. read more

Very Professional office from entrance to exit. I've been a patient since moving from Phoenix three years ago. I've had fillings and crowns replaced and regular check ups at this office. Dr. Santamaria also referred me to a specialist for a root canal, and I was sent to an oral surgeon for a second opinion. Both referrals were specialists that I definitely would return to if needed. Dr. Santamaria is quick, efficient and values the needs and time of his patients. He communicates well with his staff, which is evident in how the office operates. I would also say that if you were a person fearful of dental procedures Dr. Santamaria has a very gentle reassuring demeanor. I recommend without reservation. read more

How many people would say that they LOVED having a root canal? I am! And it is because of Dr. Santamaria. Really! Everything from the shot to the procedure to the completion of my root canal was so perfect! Honestly! The shot to numb the area was a breeze (no pain) and whatever work that Dr. Santamaria had to on my tooth to make it all better he did (no pain)! Even when my root canal procedure was completed there was NO pain, NO discomfort, even after the Novocain wore off. It was as if I never even went to a dentist earlier that day! I go into Dr. Santamaria's office twice a year, for cleaning and then for X-rays. Dr. Santamaria and his staff make me feel just as comfortable as if I were coming in for a manicure or pedicure. Now, wouldn't that be nice to have done at the same time For at least 20 years I have had my dental work done with Dr. Santamaria. I always had a great experience with whatever needed to be done. I highly recommend Dr. Santamaria for your dental needs. Highly professional and a place where you feel at ease. read more
