I called F & S Wiliams at about 4pm and explained what was going on and they saif were going to send someone at night. I told them that wasnt necessary and I got a call from the technician the next morning and he was promptly at my house. Chris showed up and was professional and courteous. I explained him what i knew and what I had tried and he was able to run a few tests and diagnose that the system was freezing up. He explained to me the cost of refrigerant and offered to put that price in writing. I said that it was not necessary because F & S had been a good service for me 9 years ago when another company in town improperly installed my AC unit. Chris charged the system and encouraged questions. He stressed how important customer service is to him and his boss and any questions I had were not interfering with him. After the service was complete, he offered to bill me and I told him if I could use a card or check I could pay right now. He said card or check was acceptable and we settled up right there. It will be 95 degrees tomorrow outside but inside my house it will be a comfortable 68 degrees thanks, in part, to Chris and F & S Williams. I have used them before and if needed, I would not hesitate to use them again.

Alternately, you can just take my word for it, stop looking, and hire C-Ville Roofs right now C-Ville Steel Roofs crew happened upon a big mess when I hired them to fix the disaster that the first contractor had left behind. The C-Ville Steel Roofs team took it all in stride and commenced to doing things the RIGHT way. My first contractor took my money, purchased materials, did a horrible job that was never completed, and just left. They just left my house half - finished and in a shambles. C-VILLE STEEL ROOFS TO THE RESCUE! Not only did they fix the mess left behind for them, but they showed up early every day, and quite often left late every night. Sometimes, I swear they didn't even take lunch, so intent were they on getting things in order... and all of THAT was before they could really start the job properly ~ as they had to re-do the job the first contractor did in order to even start the project. C-Ville Steel Roofs put on new siding, put in new windows, fixed a few old leaky windows, put on a shiny new door (and it opens, closes, and locks!) put up new porch lights (they turn on and off!!) and the crowning glory ~ the bane of my existence ~ they put up shiny new soffit and facia to go with the new siding and windows. The team was polite, professional, well groomed, considerate, and very detail oriented. They cleaned up their mess, they answered my incessant questions, they jovially went along with my constant flitting about whilst they worked saying things like "Are you going to cover that wood? Are you sure that ladder is not going to fall? How does this thing work? Are you going to be able to get that window up the stairs? Is my dog bothering you?" That last question was usually asked as the dog was absconding with one of the bottled waters they brought with them. Finally, did I mention that I named my property "Windy Hill?" It is ALWAYS windy here, always. It can be calm, and quiet in town, or a mile down the road, the moment you come up my driveway... the wind hits you. C-Ville Steel Roofs took that fully into account when putting on the siding and the window wraps. I can say this with certainty, because Every. Other. Contractor that I have had out here (there have been many) has failed when it came to adjusting for the wind. Not so for C-Ville Steel Roofs, my siding is still on my house (BONUS) My Windows do not leak ~ even in our last few monsoons, and my window wraps are still on my windows! These things are unheard of at this house. Yet, C-Ville Steel Roofs managed to figure it out, and all things are as they left them. I could NOT be happier! My final thoughts, YES, it was expensive, but pretty much in line with everyone else that I got a quote from. Sure, you can get it done more cheaply, but you WILL pay for it in the long run. I approached A fireplace with photos of the unit that was installed and the word was not pleasant to hear. The store manager sat down and reviewed the options. It was September and I was aware the timing was not the best. Within a couple of weeks they were out to look at the situation. I was informed by their experts the chimney for a Majestic fire place was not too code for a wood burning insert. This fire place was on the basement floor, I was looking at 34 feet of chimney to be replaced. It was also brought to my attention the exterior siding may have to be replaced to give access to replace the chimney too code. I got back In touch with the store manager picked out a new wood burning insert and made necessary arrangements to have a new one installed. I then proceeded to have the Majestic fireplace and facial stone removed. It was right after Thanksgiving when the A Fireplace installers arrived. With the Majestic fireplace being removed from the structure they were able to walk into the framing or cavity of the Majestic structure and look up and review the existing Majestic chimney. It was at this time they could decide the best avenue to replace the chimney and that was to pull out the inner liner of the Majestic chimney and insert the proper wood stove chimney from inside the framing up 34 feet. This was a big relief to me not having to remove the exterior siding. Before inserting the wood stove the installers lined all exposed 2x4 framing with fireproof material and taped and caulked with fireproof material all internal walls facing the insert. This was not an cheep easy fix but had to be resolved. I walked into the A fireplace Store In September very depressed with a big problem and a few pictures. By mid December the Castle stone was on the wall and I had a safe beautiful Lafayette F10 wood burning fireplace. I am very thankful for all there professional help and work.

Had Thorntown Heating and Cooling back out today because the PVC pipes that remove the condensation fell apart, the gentleman got in the attic to which they never installed that pipe when installing the new furnace. He said that would be $125. 2 hours later I noticed my furnace would not come on, called Thorntown Heating and Cooling again, he said it will be $125 trip charge this is you're problem now, not Thorntown Heating & Cooling. So before I had them out AGAIN, I opened the furnace door and put it back on, he didn't have it on properly when he was out here this morning. How would you charge my parents for something you didn't put back on correctly to begin with? Complete your job, and do it correct the 1st time when you do it. Was a wonderful company that built a beautiful backyard, then began to forget to service the yard…read more Our family has been a customer for over 10 years. He routinely introduced plants that were not asked for while not performing services that we asked for. Example: left with fish, waterplants, and other things that we had not asked for while the service we asked for (weeding, seeding, aeration) was never done. We asked for the water plants to be taken out and instead lopped off the top of the plants leaving the roots. 3 months later everything was back AND we paid for the labor both times. Great guy, but really doesn't check with customers first once he has you in a service contract.
