After trusting Miller's flooring for several past projects, I decided to let this company handle a…read morebig project in my house, i.e. putting on hardwood floors in the whole house and redoing the fireplace with the installation of tiles. I wished I trusted somebody else for this big project... at the beginning it should have been a three-days labor project but it turned out to be a SIX-WEEKS one!!! The whole project was poorly managed, the owner Mr. Miller came himself to take measures for ordering the materials no need to say that we lost a week due to a lack of materials supply (what a way to do the job...). One of the contractors ripped a wall while removing the baseboard, I had to pay for the repairs!!! Miller's flooring did not want to hear about that. To put it in a nutshell, this was an horrible experience with absolutely no communication from the company. A contractor came one day to the house and did not even know what he was supposed to do!!! What is that supposed to mean... I will let the reader of this review make his or her own mind. In the end, the project is not even finished but I still had to pay a full bill despite all the drawbacks and problems created by this company. For the readers courageous enough to be at this part of the review, I urge you not to trust this company for any project in your house. You will for sure find better and cheaper elsewhere.

Even though it was around the holidays, I was able to get my inspection done the next morning from when I contacted them. Connie explained the options (such as radon and wood-destroying insect inspection) in an entirely un-patronizing way as I asked questions. She responded within the hour and organized everything perfectly. Though I wasn't present for the inspection (I couldn't leave work), she and Chuck coordinated everything so it was entirely stress-free for me. The inspection was performed around 9:00AM and I had my extremely detailed report by noon that day! I have no idea how the turnaround was that fast, but its incredible. The report Chuck provided was very detail-oriented and he did a very good job of noting important things versus "FYI" items. He obviously is very knowledgeable on building codes and expectations and was able to point out things I would never have noticed. He made it easy to turn the report into a list of requests for the seller to fix; I will be using Expert Home Inspections in the future and cannot recommend them enough.
