My wood patio cover suddenly was drooping on one side. I called Edward's Enterprises to assist us. They were terrific!! First called and spoke with John, and then they sent the crew - Ben, (the lead guy) Morgan, and Chris. My patio cover looks so much better! These guys do a terrific job - highly recommend them. read more

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. The company did not show up on the first scheduled day and communication was minimal. When the technician arrived the following day, we were later told four hours of labor had been incurred -- largely for installing a simple battery-powered motion light, with several other agreed-upon tasks still incomplete. When I contacted the company to better understand the billing and job progress, I received explanations but no clear accountability. I asked to speak with ownership to resolve the matter professionally and was informed they would not be returning to complete the work. Additionally, the technician left the house unlocked, left lights on throughout the home, and did not leave the bathroom in clean condition. These details raised serious concerns for me about professionalism and respect while working inside a client's home. I documented the scope of work and what was (and wasn't) completed. Based on this experience, I would recommend others carefully evaluate their options before hiring. read more

I needed help moving out of a storage facility. I knew about Edwards Enterprises from a friend, so I contacted Ed. We discussed timing (I had to be out by the end of the month) and costs. We agreed and he had his people over to my place on time on the agreed day. Suffice it to say, they were great! They took care of everything I asked them to do. I am glad I had him help me with this project and would recommend his services to anyone. read more

Probably a scam. If not, I am very shocked with their business practices. They came out to give me a quote on fixing a sliding door. When I scheduled, they told me the quote would be $99 that would go towards any work they do if it's over $500 and they charge $125/hour. They told me the quote would take 3-5 business days and I can add any general handyman jobs to the quote to make up the $500 minimum. Edward came out for the quote and was very helpful, but after calling after 1 week and 2 weeks, it took about a month before I received my "quote". They sent a huge number with no explanation. I then had to call every day for someone to give me an explanation. After another wasted week, they told me it was a flat fee for my "complicated" job, which was only to replace a sliding door handle. I asked for a refund but no response. Don't waste your time and money. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with Edwards Enterprises. They came out to repair scratches on my door. To be fair, the front of the door -- which had deep dog scratches -- was done well. But the back of the door, which had far fewer and less severe scratches, was left in terrible condition. It makes no sense that the easier side of the job turned out so poorly. I've called four or five times. While they did return my calls, there was no apology. Instead, I was told they could come back -- but only if I paid again. That is not acceptable, especially when they acknowledged the work was substandard. On top of that, I was required to pay immediately upon completion and was not informed in advance about the 5% fee for paying by credit card through PayPal. That put me in a difficult position after already being unhappy with the work. Overall: poor workmanship, poor follow-up, and very unprofessional handling of the situation. read more

Right after my review, I got an email asking me to call them about my it. I replied with this, "I'd prefer to keep our contact online so 1) I am available to read it at my leisure. I don't get home from work until late afternoons. And 2) Everything is in writing so there is no miscommunication. If you feel that my Yelp review was inaccurate, I welcome seeing the record for the itemized cost of materials and labor listed separately." I received a vague online invoice, which is no longer accessible that stated parts approximately $300 and labor was about $700. So, labor ended up being over $230 an hour. The repairman had told me that they only needed to replace a few ceiling tiles, and he installed a support bar. Their argument is that I agreed to the quote, which is true. But it doesn't excuse the fact that the experience felt like I was getting way overcharged. If I didn't agree to the work, I would have had to eat the estimate fee of around $90. To this day, I have not received a detailed receipt with the parts that were used and how much they cost. read more

SERVICE: We were in need of someone to put together our 12x20 gazebo. My husband contacted Edwards Enterprises in Camarillo to assemble it. From the time he first contacted them, Gabe treated us like we were part of the owners family. There were several issues with the manufacture and the shipper getting addresses and times mixed up. Gabe didn't just say call me back when you get everything figured out, he actually made phone calls on our behalf to expedite delivery. Beau and Fidel were wonderful they worked well pass what would have been acceptable to stop, in order to complete the project because we had an upcoming event that we had planned. Edwards did exactly what they agreed to while saving us money as well. Gabe, Beau and Fidel are the kind of employees that make the experience with any company enjoyable. Edwards Enterprises is very lucky to have them, and we were lucky to find them. WELL: We recommend their services. read more

Bo was great, these guys are very professional and their follow up and customer service are excellent.

Edward's Enterprises (handyman) all the time. One call is all it takes for me to get a contractor who is good at anything from painting and wall repairs to replacing a bathroom fan. Next up is for me to request assistance on larger projects like fixing downspouts, replacing an exterior door, and removing a handicap chair from the stairwell. The price has always been fair, particularly given that they are licensed and bonded. I recommend anyone who needs reliable handyman services to try Edward's Enterprises read more

Fast and efficient. Excellent job performance. Highly recommend. Only took 2 days to replace the vanity top, replace the toilet, replace vent fan and separate the vanity light & vent fan into 2 switches. read more

BEWARE: This company is a scam We had their estimator out to review our project. He estimated it would be a 3-hour job (their minimum) and the hourly rate was around $100. When we got the written estimate from Gabriel (I'm assuming a corporate estimator), it was over $1,100. We have attempted numerous times to reach them but no calls back or returned texts. They get your $90 service call fee, then jack their prices way beyond what the estimator verbally quoted. I WOULD NOT USE THEM...they are not reputable, nor professional. read more

I had a small but urgent job to fix and replace a gutter and drain collapse in the rainy season. The Edwards rep was prompt, gracious and competent, explained my choices and immediately got the job done at a reasonable coast. I'd use them again. read more

"I couldn't be happier with the floor repair service! From start to finish, the team was professional, on time, and extremely detail-oriented. They matched the repair perfectly to the existing flooring--seamless work that you would never know was done after water damage. Communication was clear, pricing was fair, and they left everything spotless. Highly recommend to anyone needing quality floor repairs done right the first time." read more

Too expensive. They quoted $600+ for gutter clean out for a house that is 1602 sq ft with less than that sq ft needing gutters. My first quote elsewhere was $360. read more

Excellent service. The guys came on time, got the work done in a timely fashion, and were happy to do a few extra things we needed. The job entailed chain sawing a huge fallen branch and hauling away the remains. We would definitely hire them again for tree work. read more

Ben was the estimator and the installer. Estimate was within budget. The quality of the lighting fixtures was excellent as was the installation. Ben showed up on time and even used thin plastic drop cloths to prevent drilling fallout on my clothes. He replaced 2 dated fluorescent light fixtures, with led lighting that produce 100% better lighting and WILL NOT replacement during my lifetime. He also estimated the area on the ceiling so I did not have to do any patchwork painting after the installation. Highly recommend Edward's Enterprises if you want the job to work as promised and within budget. read more

Ben and his team did a great job installing an island vent in our kitchen. They had to install the ducting and roof vent as well, as there was no existing vent in place. They had to get a little creative with the installation as I accidentally had purchased a vent that was too big for our low ceiling. Thankfully they figured out a custom solution and it looks and works great. Would recommend Ben and his team for complex or complicated jobs. read more

I called Edward's Enterprises about a back door that had swollen during the rain, and wouldn't close properly. I live in an older cottage, built in 1944. I believe the kitchen was constructed in the 1920's. I am beyond happy with the repairs. The two men arrived on time, texted me with their ETA, and they were very polite and focused. They fixed the door beautifully, in thirty minutes. They even repaired my outdoor light fixture for me. I didn't have the right length of screws for the bell jar covering. They also put up a curtain rod in my kitchen, and put a screw in my front door's deadbolt plate, so it wasn't shifting out of position. I will definitely use them in the future. I was very impressed with their talent and knowledge. They are worth the price. Highly recommended! read more

Edwards sent someone to help adjust some doors and hardware around my house. The technician was very professional and spent lots of time diagnosing and fixing the issue the right way. I would use them again. read more

I'm not much of a "reviewer" but felt the need to say something for future customers. If you are just needing something small done, it would be best just to call a handyman and pay him a few hundred bucks. The guys come in pairs and charge $190 an hour and in fine print it states "for a minimum of 3 hours"....long story short, if you're having something worked on that's less than $600 bucks it makes zero sense. No ones fault but my own (as the guys knocked out what I needed done) but as a contractor myself, definitely felt a little slimy paying $600 bucks for a 1 hr call. read more

My family has worked with Edward's Enterprises on two projects now, and will be beginning a third later this week. The entire team there has been very professional, communicative, and pleasant to work with. The repairs done on our home were of excellent quality. Thank you Edward's Enterprises! read more

We called Edward's Enterprises when we needed a new light fixture and a new ceiling fan to be installed. We also wanted our existing ceiling fan relocated, but that one needed to have the motor repaired. The person who did the work was amazing. The first two projects went smoothly, but the broken fan needed to be taken to the shop for the repair work. They were able to get it working within a few days, and the original installer came back to put that one up. The day after the final fan installation, our hot water heater went out. Edward's sent another person over within a few hours. All of our projects were handled very professionally at every level. We are very happy with all of the work that was done and we are happy to recommend them. read more

Didn't have to wait overly long after requesting a quote, and the workers they sent over were patient with my questions and offered low cost options for fixes as opposed to trying to get as much out of me as they could. Not overly expensive for the work done and it was done in a timely manner once the work began. Guys came off as a bit cold, but they were genuine and I think that's a better look than a porcelain smile. Overall a fine company I haven't work with them enough to give them the 5 star they want but so far i can recommend them. read more

Vent-a-Hood range hood repair was done in April 2024. They changed one of the fans and it still works well (09/30/2024) and has since been much quieter and more effective. I think it was well worth the money, we were able to save the range hood (which came with the house and which we have been using for 34 some years)! read more

I needed to have the stucco on the front of my house repaired and painted. Inquired with a few companies but were told the job was too small. Whole house or nothing. Then I called Edward's Enterprises. They came out within a few days and gave me an estimate which I accepted. They then took a deposit and scheduled the work to be done at the next available slot. Ben and Robert came out and did an amazing job! Filled in the cracks (and in some places holes) with new stucco. Had the paint matched to the rest of the house and finished the job. Looks brand new! Will now be using them to repaint the window frames and replace the old sills and paint them also. So glad I called! read more

We have a house in Santa Monica and on a hill and because of the rain over the past couple of years we've had very bad leaks that have destroyed a basement room. We called Edward's Enterprises and Beau came out and resealed our entire foundation and found a huge hole in the foundation. Beau was able to fix the issues and we've been problem free this past winter. Beau was very professional and thorough when explaining the issue. Highly recommend them. read more

I paid the $99 fee for the company to come out to a small rental property because 3 interior doors were "sticking." They originally told me if I used them for the job, the $99 would be applied to the job. After the $99, they changed it to if the job was over $500. I said I would never have agreed to that because I knew the job was minor and wouldn't cost that much. They sent me the quote and it was over $1700! I couldn't believe it! They said it was expensive because 2 guys were needed for the job to take these doors off the hinges. Obviously I did not use them. I called a nice older fix it handy man and he came out the next day and fixed everything for $180. Yes this guy was licensed and everything! I was so upset they were trying to rip me off! Thank God I knew better. Please price around before you use this company! read more

When selling our home, the relocation company required us to make some repairs with a short turnaround schedule. The repairs required many facets of understanding, including dry-rot repairs, stucco repairs, wood replacement, painting, etc. Ben performed the estimate and talked through all the options. EE was ultimately the best choice for many reasons, from all the estimates I obtained. Ben did all the repairs in a timely manner, something I was panicked about, and provided daily updates. If it weren't for us moving, I would definitely use them again for normal or random projects. I highly recommend! read more

I used Edward's Enterprises again, this time to dismantle a 12 by 30 ft Patio Cover. Andrew and Morgan arrived on time and spent about five hours on the job.
