Ron and Rob did our kitchen and family room remodel about a year ago and did an excellent job. This was our first house and my wife and I were hesitant about the whole process but Ron was always very patient about everything we asked and walked us through everything that needed to happen. After demolition/construction started, Oscar, Robbie, Eric, and that white guy that talks 24/7 whose name I forget (but still works while talking!) were fantastic. One thing that I couldn't get over was how clean they were. The first day that they started, I remember I came home, the entire kitchen was demolished to the studs, but all of their tools and equipment were in a corner and the floor was as clean as it could've been. Rob and Ron are what contractors should be modeled after. We bought a house with the intent to remodel, but had never been through the process. Both Rob and Ron were respectful, realistic, and most importantly, contributed ideas we would have never thought of on our own. Their crew kept the job site clean, and were courteous to the neighbors. Not only did we not get any complaints, we were praised with how nice they were, and how quiet and clean they kept things. Our remodel was limited with a specific budget, and these guys stretched it as far as possible. We had gotten several quotes from other contractors, and they were all over the place. Ron took all the time in the world to explain in detail what is factored into these types of projects, and both Ron and Rob are always responsive with phone calls, texts, and emails. I it kills me to give these guys a 5 star review because it is going to be difficult to get them scheduled for future jobs if people figure out how good they are. What can I say - they are great. I had them put down wood on my stairs and they did a thorough and skilled job at a *very* fair price. It was not an easy task but they went over the project with me and gave me several options on how to approach it. We ended up reusing my existing hand-railing, saving me easily $3k in parts and labor. They also did the little things like replacing the old wood under the new treads, removing the squeaks. We hadn't even discussed that, they just did it! They took some baseboards in my closet that matched my downstairs floors and used that on the landing. Nice touch! Touched up the paint and everything. They were even sensitive about inconveniencing me by leaving their tools overnight. "Naw, we wouldn't do that". He was going to drive them across town and then back again in the morning! Very thoughtful, but I convinced him to just leave them in my living room and save the round trip. In the end, they charged me exactly the bid amount. Awesome! A good contractor is worth his weight in gold and that's why I'm hesitant to spread the word. If you need someone though, you'll struggle to do better. read more

High Quality, Thorough, Integrity I've used Ron and his crew on two different projects and both have been completed well, on time, and reasonably priced. While they were working on my most recent job (baseboards, closet doors, etc.) I had a toilet and water heater break. Luckily Ron knew exactly what to get, took care of those two things as well, and finished up the baseboard job. What I like about Ron is that he goes the extra mile. He put in new, white electrical outlets to match the new baseboards, did touch up painting left unfinished by another contractor, and took care of some other unfinished work that needed to be done. read more

The fact that they also work with more than reputable sub contractors that share their passion for the trade and to satisfy the client also makes them a strong candidate in a saturated market full of under insured and underrated fly by nights looking to get there foot in the door with cheap pricing and following it up with change order after change order costing you much more in the end. One thing I like to remind folks of is that these general contractors you hire are literally your room mates for 2-3 months. I recently had Edwall Home Solutions complete a full kitchen remodel, repaint all but two rooms, and install Hallmark Hardwoods engineered hickory flooring throughout my condo. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. From start to finish, Ron and his crew executed this project with impressive precision - on time and within budget. Two interior walls were demolished in the blink of an eye and all debris made to magically disappear, followed by considerable electrical and plumbing work that involved opening up existing walls to upgrade the stucture's "bones." New custom cabinetry by Caliber Cabinets (Hayward) was carefully installed in the living room and newly-expanded kitchen - no small feat given the wonky walls of a 40-year-old building. I leaned on Ron for guidance during the renovation and his advice was always spot on, especially his recommendation that I repaint the walls before cabinets and hardwood flooring were installed. Changing out the soft green (Behr Corn Husk) to Behr's Gravelstone pulls the entire project together into one absolutely gorgeous living space. This project was expected to take about 12 weeks, but was finished in 10, including final permit inspections and my teeny tiny punch list with only two items that were fixed in an instant with a few strokes of a paint brush.
