I had the gift that wouldn't stop giving-- installation of online custom sized barn doors. Many companies shied away as they did not supply the doors. Brian and his team have extensive experience in barn door installation (thank God because this was one to remember). Every challenge you can think of from needing to cut the doors to the right height (including a large barn mirror door), getting new screws to be long enough for the hardware, correcting the holes for the thread pattern, adjusting the door to sit straight to ultimately making the doors look beautiful. KUDOS to Brian and Shawn! These guys anticipated one day of work and had to work through a few days and never at one point did I feel they were irritated as some may do if a job exceeds the timeline. BR Construction stands by their work and that goes so far. More importantly, they talked me through the updates, challenges etc-- I'm not an expert so it's nice to have things explained so you know why it's taking so long. We were very lucky to have found Brian (and his wonderful crew) for our kitchen remodel! He was working with our neighbor when I asked for his card. To do my homework before selecting a contractor I asked about him and his crew from my neighbor... needless to say he came highly recommended so my wife and I chose to go with him (best choice I could have made). Brian is one of the more intelligent, energetic and positive people you'll meet. Our kitchen remodel required the removal of a weight-bearing wall and all the challenges that goes with it (including the placement of an 800lb steel beam). We had a master bedroom and bathroom remodel by BR Construction. I appreciated that they always showed up in masks as per the COVID rules. All the crew were on time and Brian always kept us informed. The work was done to perfection. Anything we asked of Brian and his crew they were able to accomplish. Brian gave us great suggestions where we were at a loss for ideas. I met with the owner Brian Rovnanik after having a few different contractors give us bids on work on our home. I found him to be very professional and thorough in his estimate and walkthrough of the work we wanted done. His bid was competitive, detailed as to the scope of work to be done, and itemized as to what each project entailed and it's cost. We approved his bid and had him start remodeling our entire kitchen and installing a glued down engineered hardwood floor throughout our 2100 sq ft 2 story home. From the start his work was organized and neat. He and his crew moved a lot of furniture and appliances, all brand new, with care. The job site was generally kept neat and free from debris and he did whatever it tok to keep our home livable during the project. As with any remodeling there were issues to be dealt with, some needing more attention than others and in each case he and his crew came up with solutions that were creative and generally added to the high quality of work he was doing. He kept in communication with us as to cost and additional charges for things we added along the way. Sent us to fantastic suppliers he uses to purchase materials and was very pleasant to have in our home. His workmanship is excellent. He did little custom touches throughout the job that make it look beautiful. His customer service is also excellent and he took our suggestions and implemented them whenever possible. When concerns arose, he and his crew dealt with them professionaly and quickly. I would highly recommend giving B.R. Construction a call for your next project. I met Brian through a client of mine and since then we worked together in many projects. the only thing I heard from my clients are how great he is and how happy they were with him after the completion of the projects. I used him for several hardwood flooring jobs that my company , Nara Tile,provided the hardwood products. My clients were very very happy his work. This review is long overdue. Brian did a rather large project for me -- entire house (4,000 sq.ft). He was extremely professional, thorough, prompt and CLEAN. He has a good eye for design and when he felt a pattern I had selected was not good for the space, he made suggestions. He is worth every penny -- work is done right, timely and he cleans up! I worked with Brian after having a kitchen backsplash done by a different company. Brian was fantastic. They ripped out the horrible job the other guy did and made my kitchen look amazing. He repaired everything the other guy did wrong. He didn't cut any corners and it looks so much better. He was here to oversee the work his guys did and he finished the work himself the next day. Brian suggested what to use for the seams between the counter top and tile and it wasn't just grout. He said it will be better than grout. He also made other suggestions which turned out to be great. The crew was so meticulous about touching up even the smallest flaws that only they could see. They ended up spending an 8 hour day in my home making sure things were perfect, all AFTER being paid. Why? Because they take pride in their work! They were leveling my refrigerator, washing windows, touching up paint, and fixing things that they were not responsible for. They treated my kitchen like it was there own and I couldn't be more impressed. We met Brian through a mutual friend who recommended him and his crew to us. We just bought a house and had to deal with a full bathroom remodel due to unknown issues in our shower pan. Brian was very professional, kind, and easy to talk to regarding the issues he saw with our bathroom. At the end, the consensus was a full tear down and build up. He walked us through the process and within a few days our bathroom was completely taken down to the studs. The entire process was painless and very quick. The quality of the work was tremendous and the bathroom looks amazing. He measured the entire place and helped us pick out the tile that would match and the designs that would go well in the new bathroom. Not only is he a wonderful contractor, but a great designer as well! He made a stressful time manageable. We were impressed with his crew and their professionalism and the quality of the work. We had a couple other issues with the house relating to some electrical switches for a hallway and a water pipe for our refrigerator that needed hooking up. Brian helped with this during one of the days he was out and we came home to working hallway lights and a working water/ice dispenser. I am so honored to rave about Brian and his B R construction crew. We had just purchased a house in Concord only to find that our upstairs bathroom was creating a waterfall into our downstairs!! {YIKES!} He was referred to us through a family friend and no sooner did we call him, he was here giving us a quote (which was the by far the most reasonable out of the 3 we received) and off we went to demo. I cannot speak more highly about the genuine craftsmanship of Brian and his team. In just a short time we had a fully functioning, gorgeous bathroom and a patched up downstairs that you wouldn't even know was ruined. These guys clearly earned 5 stars and if I could give them more I would due to not only their great eye for beauty and functionality, but also their drive to do things the right way with extremely competent and experienced hands on deck.
