We just completed the update in our kitchen. We chose Dave and his company after my husband and I visited a friend who used his company. We were extremely pleased with the workmanship of the cabinets. He and Justin were very easy to work with and had many great ideas in our process. Small details like creating a spice drawer under our cooktop is an example of the extra touch that makes the kitchen complete. We especially love our soft close cabinets and brand new drawers. His painters and cabinet workers were on time, courteous and always cleaned up after the days work. The finish product exceeding our expectations. We would recommend him highly and have already recommended him to several of our friends who are considering any type of remodel. Looking back at our pictures we cannot believe we did not do this sooner! read more

I should have written a review a year ago, but I guess this is even a better review seeing as it's been a year and we still LOVE our bathroom. Dave and his crew, shout out to Angel, remodeled our 1966 bathroom with custom made cabinets, new wall texture, new paint and new tile, sinks, fixtures... everything! It looks beautiful. We, believe it or not, enjoyed having the guys here working for a few months. Angel was our main worker and what a professional! He truly knows how to do everything and does it well! After the bathroom was finished, they tore out the tile in our entry way and replaced it with hardwood floors. Then they took out ( ripped out/demolished) our flagstone fireplace surround and replaced that with a marble surround. They did a great job on everything and brought us into the 21st century! I am thinking of another project so I can have them back! I highly recommend Dave Fontan and his crew. read more

David was recommended from Home Advisor so I contacted him for an estimate. From initial contact to finalization the whole team did an outstanding job for painting our kitchen cabinet. This company is responsive, professional, and meticulous. Especially Justin came back many times because of the hinges functions, he worked very hard to make sure the doors close perfectly. read more

We had our kitchen cabinets refaced along with our 2 bathrooms. All came out great and David and his crew were a pleasure to deal with. Pricing was reasonable compared to other quotes we received and they came back without hesitation to fix some minor problems. All in all a great experience! read more

I've been remiss not giving this company praise for an excellent job. It's been over a year since David Fontan refinished our kitchen cabinets, added pulls and as a last-minute job, painted the walls. All of the work was done on time, with minimal disruption and left us with a brand-new looking room. His crew could not have been more punctual or fastidious during the job. Every exposed area was taped shut so no dust escaped while sanding. I didn't even have to wash dishes when they were done! We love the work, the finished effort and the room feels so fresh. Thanks, read more

David and his crew were amazing when installing my cabinets. They were kind and polite. They took great care in making sure everything was done correctly. I am so grateful for their help. read more

David was referred to us by our neighbor as we were looking to remodel our kitchen. David helped us every step of the way. From picking out cabinet styles to paint color he was super helpful. One of the best things about working with Dave is that he was always there when he said he would be. His team was always on time and stayed at the job until things were perfect. Dave is a crazy character..if you want comic relief, then definitely meet him. Hiring him to paint my cabinets? Well, I'm unsure how this guy gets 5 stars... Based on his glowing star ratings, I hired him. The estimator, an older cool dude who used to own the company, came out and gave an estimate for painting my cabinets and replacing my drawers..The process took weeks, the drawers delivered were not only the wrong size, but they were a far inferior quality to the ones quoted, and the ones I already had...I ended up handling all that myself for 15% of the cost quoted.. I can hire my own day laborers to paint, going forward. His employees were respectful and professional, but they are encouraged to paint-n-flee. Time is $. Sadly, in my experience Dave over promises and under delivers...the opposite of what you need to do as a business owner... read more

I've been meaning to do this review for nearly a year now. We hired Dave & his AMAZING team for the first time last year to bring what was once a dark boring corner of our house back to life. Before his team worked their magic we were unable to use our fireplace as it was set too far back with big bulky cabinetry and to use this corner of the house we had to constantly have lights on, there was no natural light at all. We got Dave's team on board and they understood straight away everything we wanted to do & made our visions come to life. We could not be more happy with the end result. From the windows to the new functional fireplace, the seats (which also contain storage in the bottom), lights & my favorite part the timber beam mantel. We also had the team re paint our whole house, change all the lighting and install crown molding. Dave was there every step of the way, checking in to make sure we were satisfied. As for his team I couldn't speak highly enough of them. They were always easy to approach, very clean, reliable and their work was 110% If you're looking for a contractor, look no further Dave & his team are your guys. read more

David was referred to me by a friend. I needed to refresh my kitchen and wasn't sure how to go about the process and at what level (blow back to the studs or just paint or somewhere in between). David was great about giving me ideas and tips on how to get the best result. My kitchen was completed on time and his team was very professional. I'm super picky about the job site cleanliness and the crew was immaculate. David came to my job site or called me daily to make sure all was on track. I was so happy with my kitchen and David's team that I've referred him to a couple of friends and they loved him too. read more

David and his team are professional, courteous, on time, and did a wonderful job painting our son's room in less than a day. They set up, moved the furniture, and cleaned the room after the project was complete. The pricing is competitive as well. We will certainly use David Fontan for any future painting needs. read more

We recently remodeled our kitchen, family room and two bathrooms in Alamo, Ca. David and his crew at Oak Mountain Cabinets were very responsive to our needs. We could not have asked for a better crew. They were punctual, careful and attentive to every detain and they always wanted to make sure that all work was done to our satisfaction. They also completed our remodel in a very reasonable length of time. When we were initially planning our project we read the Yelp reviews of many cabinet makers and narrowed our interview process to three cabinet companies. Only Justin from David's Company, Oak Mountain Cabinets, actually took the time to come to our house to look at our project and discuss our options. Justin worked with us to reach the best options and solutions in each room we were remodeling. He had great ideas to improve the function of our space and we are enjoying our new kitchen cabinets and drawers immensely! We are equally happy with our new cabinets in our Family Room and Bathrooms. We certainly agree with all of the individuals who wrote 5 STAR reviews regarding the quality of Oak Mountain's Cabinet's and we are very glad we disregarded the one negative review we read. We certainly can not figure out what the poster was referring to, as our finished product is beautiful quality in every way. We highly recommend David's Oak Mountain Cabinets. read more

Dave and his team were very professional and efficient. He came out to give an estimate right away after I called him. They showed up for work promptly at 730am each morning and worked diligently through 'til 330pm. He said the job would take a week, and that's exactly how long it took. Each afternoon when they left, our house was put back just as they had found it. read more

You can trust Dave to give you an accurate estimate, to work with you as your project progresses and to be responsive and responsible. Dave was recommended by an interior designer who has known him for years. We got other estimates, but selected Dave because he had more knowledge about what could and couldn't be done. He redid our kitchen on time and on budget and we love it! And we get compliments from everyone who sees it! Later, when we had to repair termite damage in our living room we knew exactly who to call and trust. Dave supported the wall (two story living room); replaced the beams, didn't touch the windows or siding and fixed and painted the wall! Looks brand new. read more

I would summate our experience in three words: professional, meticulous and punctual. In December, we had our dental office repainted. We hired David and his staff to do the work. They arrived each day on time, completed the project by the deadline, and the work they did looks perfect. I would recommend them to anyone! read more

I highly recommend David Fontan painting. Jose, his GM, took care of our entire job from start to finish. Besides paint, our exterior needed quite a bit of carpentry and stucco repair. So easy to work with Jose and his crew - the results are beautiful. He remembered every last detail. read more

David and his team are great! I hired them to paint and install crown molding throughout my living area and bedrooms, so it was a job that crossed over several days. They were on time, easy to work with, flexible about working around me since I work out of my home office, and very pleasant throughout. Their work was excellent...great attention to detail and nothing left for me to address after they were done. They even re-hung my pictures and moved my furniture. I am now working with David on some additional needs around the house. He is a full-service jack of all trades! read more

Dave and his team did a fantastic job painting the exterior of our house. They didn't take any shortcuts. They power washed the house, prepped flaking areas and caulked all of the windows.
