For the rest: -If u have eaten shiitake before (at home for example) , u know nothing can go wrong with shiitake as it's already flavorful in its own (safe choice). -Pork belly has good flavor but kinda too fatty (it is a totally different style from the one I usually eat at other places). -Aburi salmon handroll doesnt taste like aburi at all. Just normal handroll basically. Nth special. It was my friend's birthday, we asked if they hv noodle (considering we were farrr from home) and they said it's only available during lunch (which is understandable), but then nth else was done to help celebrate this moment when they hear this fact (simple smile or simple 'happy birthday' could be a gift in its own). We ordered the miso ramen, the katsudon, and the katsu curry. The portions were large and everything tasted great. The katsu curry was probably the best dish since it actually had a spicy kick and not sweet like other Japanese curries I've had in the past. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was pretty authentic and I wanted to come back but it was closed for the next 2 days (Monday and Tuesday) so you should check their hours on the door just in case.
