I have only gotten my nails done twice in Oklahoma since moving in 2012. I have become a fan of Edmond Nails and will most likely make this my go to nail place. I got manicure with French Tip Gel with glitter gel and a regular pedicure for $50. I tipped 30% because they were extremely professional and I called prior to heading out there and they told me there was no wait. (They were being truthful and I appreciated that). You can tell the tools were all sterilized-all their instruments were in separate pre made packets that I know are used for an autoclave (sterling machine) since I work in the Operating Room. YAY FOR CLEANLINESS!!! :) The manicure was awesome. They were gentle and did this really cool wax dip thing after the gel was done with that left my hands feeling wonderful. It was included in the gel manicure. The place was open, clean, smelled nice, two big flat screen tvs were on. I had two nail artist both male and both very sweet, professional and I loved the end product. I posted photos of my nails. It was very natural looking and they listened to what I wanted and did not push for additional designs and what not. I haven't written a review in a long time. Hopefully this was helpful. Went in for a fill they were so rude. Waited 1 hour without being acknowledged. (My fault) however I didn't mind the wait. A white woman walks in and was acknowledged immediately. She explained to them that I was before her. They said "what you need?" I said a fill. He then proceeded to sit the other lady down after she waited 15 min. I said I've been in your establishment for over an hour the mid age Asian lady looked at me and rolled her eyes. Like I was causing problems. I waited a pretty long time between my pedicure and manicure, but there werent very many staff members there and as soon as they finished someone else they quickly took care of me. Had a great simple pedicure that lasted about 15 mins. Manicure was about an hour, I got french tips that are gorgeous. The tech was very kind to me and my mom, and the other techs were really nice as well. I would probably be back, the only real downside was the wait, but it wasnt a dealbreaker. read more

DO NO GET EYE LASH EXTENSIONS HERE! they do not do the extensions you would think of when you hear lash extensions. I had a horrible experience, first of all they apply the lashes while you're sitting up straining your neck with your eyes open while pointing a fan right at them. They use cluster lashes with giant clumps of HAIR GLUE and they apply the lashes from under your lash line and they glue them on to the middle of your lashes. I have no idea how I'm going to take off all that glue without losing all my natural lashes and without it being really painful. You get what you pay for here they do have dirt cheap prices but you get crappy service. I've had my nails, toes, and eyebrows done there as well and those services are no different. They are mediocre at best. read more

They charge $5 for a simple design on toe, without telling us ahead of time that they will charge us for it. They also did a terrible job painting out nails. The color was not even and very lumpy. They did scrub my feet enough and did not clip dead skin around my toe nails. The ladies worked there speaks very little English, there is no way to communicate. I will not go back. read more

Stopped in for a pedi without an appointment and was immediately seated in a massage chair and given a menu to pick my service from. I opted for the deluxe pedi and settled in with a magazine. This was a standard "Deluxe/Spa Pedi" that you get around town for $35. Soak, scrub, clay masque with hot towels, and a short massage with two stones, one for each foot. Nothing special to write home about, nothing to say I'd never go back again in a pinch. I'm just looking for that one place that trim the ingrown big toes and they didn't even attempt it here. *sigh* My one gripe is the woman asking me about my work and then asking me about getting her son a job after he graduates or a Summer internship now. Colleges are out in the next two weeks...internships have already been secured for this year. I nicely suggested her son check out the career services office on campus. My first visit...you don't know me and I don't know you or your son...and you're hitting me up for an internship that he should applied for months ago. *sigh* I'd go back, but still looking for THE place. They are not friendly and kept changing operators on me without any explanations. I wasn't even happy with my nails when done . The place is old and dirty. The list goes on... This place does a great job for getting your nails done. It's not fancy and looks like just a random nail salon but they are good at what they do. They really take their time with each client, which is good one my nails I never leave with my nails sore.They are usually pretty open not busy but that works for me! Absolutely horrible!! Had to wait an hour to get my refill done. 2 employees went to work on my mother in law at the same time and just made me wait there! Second they hurt my fingers so bad I was in tears. Now 5 hours later my fingers are swollen and red. They aren't very clean at all either. Seriously don't recommend this place. read more

I've been going to the same nail technician for 5 years, but decided to give this salon a shot on my way home for work. I walked in and asked for a gel manicure and even though they were pretty busy my wait wasn't long at all for a walk-in. I was seated with Julie and she was THE MOST incredible nail tech. She was so kind and courteous and was meticulous about getting my polish and shape just right. The salon itself was perfectly clean and inviting and the prices are beyond affordable!!! I went once to get my nails done for a friend's wedding because I was staying at the OC dorms and it was really close. I walked in and two women were sitting at one of the stations cutting foil and neither of them greeted me, no one else was waiting or getting their nails done. I asked to get a manicure and they called out a man. None of them said hello or smiled. I got a gel manicure and the guy did my nails without saying a word to me besides how long or short I wanted my nails. He got up after putting me under the curing light and walked away leaving me at the station without saying I was done. After about five minutes of sitting there, I turned to the women and said "am I done?" And one of them said "yeah, just be careful because they'll keep drying for the next hour." So I paid and left. I probably could have gotten away without paying with the attention they were paying me. The manicure itself wasn't bad, but I felt like I was more of a bother to them. read more

I have tried various nail salons in Edmond in the past few years, but I think I'm here to stay. It does look a bit sketchy from the outside (selling body wraps and such on the windows) but they do quality work. They took thier time and were very detailed in making sure my nails looked great. I had an acrylic fill with French gel polish and this is the best my nails have looked in ages. They had tons of pretty gel colors and all have matching polish for pedis with them. The tech (Shawn) did not grind my down nails and did the majority of shaping and smoothing by hand. My nails don't feel thick or rough at all. It was quiet and relaxed the whole time and the staff were pleasant and helpful. read more

This was my first and LAST time here. I felt like the whole mani and pedi was rushed. A leg massage consisted of rubbing lotion up and down my leg one time!! They cut my nails and toenails uneven and when they were getting the dead skin off my feet, they used a cheese grader to the point my feet are raw and throbbing tonight...They are very unorganized as well. They took two people ahead of me when I had been waiting for a brow wax way before the other two customers got there. Honestly, I could have done the same job they did on my nails and toes. They are uneven, paint doesn't cover whole nail and feet are killing me. DON'T GO HERE! They are cheaper, but remember...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I wish I would have remembered that old saying before I went!!! Last, but most important, the salon was dirty and they were not sanitizing the tools between customers properly. They also were using the wrong nail tools! They were using actual hardware Dremel tools for artificial nails instead of nail drills. My poor daughter-in law was literally about to cry because her nails were hurting so bad. Just pay 10-20 more dollars and go somewhere clean and professional. On a good note, they were nice and I did like the color of the nail polish. read more

AWFUL! DON'T GO HERE! waited so long to even get my nails done, then while she's doing my nails she is hurting me with the nail tools!! When I arrived, before even greeting me, the workers must have said 5 times, "cash only!" I almost walked out because I thought it was an incredibly rude way to "greet" a customer. I said I understood and had cash and they took me back . I went in initially to get a pedicure and noticed they did eyelashes too. I have had this done before but it had been years. I cannot tell you how horrible this experience was. First she applied with an adhesive that burned so bad I had tears streaming down my cheeks. Also she was not using proper clean technique and was applying the lashes to the back of her unwashed, ungloved hand before she applied to my eyes. She applied them with my EYES OPEN and to the under side of my lids. I have never had lashes applied with my eyes open or on the underside! When I complained of the discomfort, she handed me a fan and just told me to sit still and keep my eyes open. She applied such large globs of glue on the lashes that it scrapped the surface of my eyes! I now have lost all my upper lashes, despite using adhesive remover as directed. I highly suspect they used the glue commonly used for hair NOT the adhesive for eyelashes! DO NOT GO HERE! Also, they used the cluster eyelashes, not the individuals as are intended for the extensions. I would have taken a picture but they were so painful, I wanted them off ASAP. I am NEVER going to Edmond Nails EVER again for eyelash extensions. The girl who did my eyelashes did TERRIBLE and I kept telling her one side was thicker than the other she kept saying no like I didn't know what I was talking about. Then the next 3 days after I got my eyelash extensions from here, my eyes were burning for those three days STRAIGHT. If you want to get eyelash extensions, go to someone who is a professional because the people at Edmond Nails are terrible with eyelash extensions and is the WORSE for it. They're lucky I didn't come back and get my money back, which I should've done. read more

My friend and I came here to get a pedi and manicures and it was awful. My pedicure was below average and my friend's nail popped off an hour after we left the place. Her nail technician had no idea how to do dip nails but did it anyways and did a terrible job. When we went back to get her nail fixed or a refund, my friend was literally yelled at by the woman who did her nails so we ended up just leaving. I highly recommend not going here. read more

I had not been in Edmond Nails for awhile, and went in today to find a completely different salon! New owner, new decor, and fabulous chairs! They are the most sanitary nail salon I have been in, hands down! Tools in packets, and the service was excellent. The price is right for whatever your budget, and they took their time.
