Today, I left work early so I could arrive before 3:00 p.m. specifically to take advantage of the promotion. After my services were finished, I was told my eyebrows didn't qualify. The explanations kept changing. One employee said the promotion only applies to manicures and pedicures. Another said it only applies to "full services," but couldn't clearly define what that meant. Neither explanation matches the sign outside, which simply says "50% off second service of equal or lesser value." It doesn't mention "full services" or list any exclusions. I paid the full price because I wasn't going to argue over it, but I also didn't leave a tip. The amount I expected to save on the advertised promotion was what I would have tipped. If the policy has changed, that's completely the business's right. But the advertising should be updated, and every employee should be giving customers the same explanation. After 10 years of being a loyal customer, this experience was disappointing enough that I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

At one point, she even blew on my feet with her mouth, which was shocking and extremely unhygienic. The "massage" was careless, rushed, and lacked any basic level of skill. When she finished, she tapped my leg, said "you're done," and walked away to sit on her phone. She made no effort to clean her tools, adjust the chair, help me put my sandals on, or ensure my polish was dry--basic expectations at any salon. It got worse after I left. By the time I reached my car, my polish was completely smeared. I had to go out of my way to return, only to receive an even worse result. My nail was cut crooked, and instead of correcting the issue properly, she painted over the original polish without removing it, leaving a messy, uneven finish. To top it off, she made a passive-aggressive comment saying, "See, gel polish lasts longer," which was both unprofessional and inappropriate given the situation. This experience was careless, unhygienic, and unprofessional from start to finish. I would strongly advise others to avoid this salon. I would also like to know that any positive review you see is likely incentivized. They offer a free cuticle oil if you leave them a positive review.

I booked a full set of acrylics with regular polish for 2 of my daughters, and I booked a deluxe pedicure. Once there, i upgraded my pedicure to a seashell pedicure for the paraffin wax and extra 3 minutes of massage. The soaking water was lukewarm/almost cold, definitely not relaxing. The massage shouldn't be called a massage at all. She slid her hands and seashells up and down my legs without applying any pressure whatsoever. No foot massage, which I definitely could've used because I am on my feet constantly throughout the day. She even stopped her "massage" about a minute before the 13 minute timer was up. The polish on my toenails is horrible. There is polish on my skin, lumps, and the color is way too far away from my cuticles, making it look crazy. My toenails are cut extremely short to where it's painful, and they are all uneven. I will not be wearing sandals until they grow out and I can get back into my usual salon to fix them. For the first set of acrylics with regular polish, i was charged for a set of gel x nails. Obviously I didn't book that nor want that. The nails ended up being absolutely atrocious and do not look professionally done in the slightest. They are lumpy, have many jagged, unsmooth edges, and there are multiple spots where there is no polish, or the glitter does not cover the base color. The second set was booked as the same, but i was charged for an acrylic set with gel polish. These are the best looking nails out of the bunch, but there are still a few jagged edges and a completely different glitter was used than in the inspiration photo that my daughter showed her tech. Both my girls left extremely disappointed as this was their first set of "fake nails" for back to school, but they are sweet and didn't want to complain or upset their nail techs. I would've mentioned being charged for things I didn't book when checking out, but the only thing I was shown was the total, and the receipt didn't get delivered to my phone until we were already almost home, and we live close to an hour away.

As a husband who accompanies his wife to many of her nail salon visits, I have observed the workings of many salons in many cities- we have lived in Memphis, Baltimore, DC, and now in Oklahoma City. I have to say, Mint is amazing. The customer service is amazing, friendly and so warm. It's like you are coming home. I frequently get a pedicure (for the massage -ahem) when my wife is getting her nails done- so I have sampled the services everywhere. Unequivocally, this place sets the bar at a new level. The salon is super clean, decorated in a very tasteful modern sleek style, and everyone is super friendly, quick to smile, and are genuinely nice! I would recommend this place over any other salon in a heartbeat. Nina and Tuyen, two of the owners are so approachable and take special care to check on every customer. Kristine is the manager, and she has an amazing memory, recalling every client's name and last visit. Truly a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place! I've been searching for a new nail tech for around 3.5 years as mine retired - I went to her for 5 years!!! I've been around several places in Edmond and NW OKC. I mapped a few places in this area and said why not and see. The only complaint I have is how long it took to get me in but I was a walk in and that's to be expected - make an appt time! I am EXTREMELY nit picky about my nails. It never fails that they're crooked or not straight, square, etc.. Toni did an amazing job not only with my pickiness but fixing my one nail that's always crooked with no backlash not once but 3x until I was happy with the nail! She did not treat me any differently or get frustrated that I was not happy at first. This means A LOT as I know I am difficult and like my nails a certain way - BUT I do always tip extra for this. I will be back and request her. I highly recommend Mist, they're clearly super busy for a reason!! read more

I have gotten my nails done at various places for the last 31 years. I am very picky about where I go and expect only quality work. My good friend Landry Hammond recommended Mint Nails back in the Fall of 2017. My son had just had a bad car accident and I definitely needed some love! From the moment I walked in they treated me like a queen! From fixing my chair-theirs are the best btw- to helping me with colors, a warm neck wrap and their unlimited supply of drinks and snacks! My son is much better!! We are back home now in Marlow which is about 70 miles one way. I have made the return trip many times Mint is just that amazing every time!! I took my guy in for his first pedicure in the fall. They of course were fantastic!! I tried to explain not all nail salons are like Mint!! They are definitely head and shoulders above all the rest!! This is by far the best salon I have been to in the last 10 years. Their work is always beautiful (and painless), the salon is clean and very pretty, I have never had to wait longer that 15-20 min as a walk-in (on really busy days) they have wine, beer, pop, and water & it's affordable! The staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel special, I was super impressed that they remembered our names after just a few visits! They make everyone feel at home and take time to get to know you as a person, not just a client. We are always treated with respect and appreciation, whether we are in designer leggings wearing $5k in jewelry, or in cutoffs and hoodies & having a bad hair day. I have been coming to Mint for approx 2yrs now... always to see JD... she is my rock along with Nina and all the staff with a positive, warm, family environment "we got you" attitude. The impact they have made in my life has been tremendous... they are NOT just nails and a pedicure THEY ARE THERAPY, words of encouragement, and a safe place to feel comfortable. We get things twisted in the service industry... yes, we want a service performed, but at the same time these providers make us feel safe and comfortable. I've been to many salons in Edmond and Mint has not only the best looking services, but the kindest and most caring staff I've ever met. I recently had an experience where I wasn't happy with the nails I got, so I called Nina (I'm never one to complain, so I was nervous and felt horrible) and she was so kind and understanding. They did everything they could to perfect my nails, they definitely do everything they can to make their clients happy and confident! I have been a client of one of the owners, Nina for years. I follow her to wherever she goes and it took me to Mint. I hadn't been in in quite a while due to financial struggles and priority but decided to treat myself again. I absolutely LOVE my nails! Tran did an amazing job. There was one point that I went in with my daughter and friend for a Mani and I wasn't quite satisfied with the turnout... management is personable enough that you can give them your concerns and they make it a point to fix it! I had been to {what felt like} every nail salon in the North OKC/Edmond area before I finally found Mint! They are head and shoulders above the rest! Nina & her entire staff are so welcoming & accommodating and the salon is clean as a whistle (and adorable). In the past I would find one person I liked and only make appointments with them. At Mint, every single nail tech does a fabulous job and speaks great english, so I don't even have to be difficult and ask for someone specific. Prices are extremely fair! I never used to get my nails done regularly - I always thought ughhh I don't want to spend that much time at the salon. Now I have an appointment every two weeks and look forward to seeing all of the wonderful people at Mint! They make the experience so much fun (you'll meet Nina ), the customer service is amazing and the quality is bar none. The best BEST place to go and get your nails done in OKC/Edmond, if not anywhere!!! The staff is so so nice and friendly, remember your name and make sure you are happy when you leave. They will always fix any problem should one arise. The salon is VERY clean and all tools sanitized and opened right in front of you. I I'm the owner/Stylist of Above and Beyond style shop of over 20yrs. Just starting going here for a much needed pedicure every 3 weeks....I stand for hours each day therefore I have ingrown toenail and lots of dead skin. I absolutely love this place! I've been going here to get my nails done for 3 years and I'm so particular about my nails. April does the best job! My manicure dip is flawless EVERY time. I haven't been disappointed yet. But you need to make an appointment in advance. This place is so affordable compared to others in OK and other states. Mint nails is the place to go! I've been going to Mint for a couple years now and I love the service they provide and the welcoming atmosphere. I usually get my nails done by tran but I have friends who I've recommended here and they go to some of the other ladies/guys and I've only heard great things. I always make an appt b/c I have a busy schedule but I can almost call the day before or the day of and they can fit me right in. No long waits or rushing they the process. Absolutely loved it! I'm extremely picky when it comes to getting a "perfect dip manicure" don't like it thick and messy. And the service I received here was perfect. I was please with the professional and cautious work Tran did on me. My nails pretty much look natural and I love that! Will definitely be returning! Super friendly environment! I love Mint Spa! Nina makes you feel like family and I love all the nail techs there! I typically go to Judy but when she's not available, Nina still gets me right in with another tech they're all super friendly. They also are great with kids! I bring my 4 little girls with me and Nina makes sure to spoil them with snacks, juice boxes and gets them right in to get their nails painted. It's also super affordable!
