I feel like most nail salons are hit or miss. I have yet to have a bad experience though! They are always friendly, incredibly accommodating and decently priced. I brought a large group in with very little notice and they didn't make us wait very long and managed to get us all in the same section. I always get a basic gel pedicure and sometimes a manicure. My daughter is a bit more high maintenance but she enjoyed her nail service over the years. read more

I went in and requested a full set and pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure cut my toe nails super short to where they hurt, and then proceeded to dig in the sides of my toe nails after I said it was hurting. My full set took upward of 2 hours to complete for just simple application and one color. There was no cuticle care done, and when she was filing my nails down she cut my cuticles on almost all of my fingernails. Fast forward to 3 days later, and my nails are already lifting. When the paint dried there were bumps in every single nail as well. Will never be going back to say the least. read more

I went to RED Nail Studio with my mom for a pedicure, and it was one of the best gel pedicures I've had in a long time. They offered us drinks, talked through our color choices with us, and recommended the right scents for our treatments based on our preferences. We really enjoyed the service. I liked it so much that when my friend wanted to get manicures the next day, I said we should go there again. We each got dips with a couple of fun accent nails. I truly hate to write this review, it breaks my heart, as the owner Ms. Kim has always treated me like royalty and has been nothing short of amazing while maintaining a great atmosphere. So, I will clarify that this review is ONLY in regards to my specific nail tech JAN. I've been getting my nails done by JAN for the last 6/8yrs. Even followed her to Red Nail Studio from her previous employer. My last 5/6 encounters have been very unprofessional, even Ms. Kim (the owner) had to step in and finish my service at one appointment Because I requested an "American French Manicure". Today's visit was the "cherry on the sundae" and very disheartening. I've NEVER written a company review but I guess there's a first for everything. Prior to my appointment JAN knew my appointment was for a fill and polish change on toes as I was planning to come in next Friday March 24th for my normal 2wk appointment (Today is Wednesday March 15th). Unfortunately, upon my arrival today, JAN made a suggestion/referral to get a full new set and gel on both toes and nails, in which I declined and asked for a pink nude regular polish because I will be back in a week (this was just a refresher for my weekend trip). When I advised I wanted to wait for a new full set she quote Unquote said she didn't want to do the fill And she would charge me almost the same price because I had 2 broken nails. Due to us previously talking about me getting a new set upon my next visit (which would've been at my original two week appointment). I informed her I would get the fresh/new set next FRIDAY. Once I declined her suggestion she became very short and dismissive. When I asked for the polish book she IGNORED me and had me pick from the wall by the wash stations. After thinking about it I decided to go with a new set of nails and I can have a little fun outside my "plain Jane". So I ask for long curve coffin with design. I show her a picture and she reassures me she can do. After putting the curved tip on she asks how long when I state I want them long she DISREGARDS and quickly cuts the first nail shorter than requested stating it wouldn't look good. I inform her it doesn matter because once again I will be back in a week and will cut them shorter for work. She grabs my hand roughly, squeezing, pinching, and aggressively drilling causing it to burn me and puncturing my cuticle. When I confront her saying your being too rough. JAN states "don't say that, I'm just working, I'm not being rough." I allow her to continue and we get to the design which requires a natural acryli and paint/art design. JAN then makes another suggestion that it's not the basic acrylic clear but a nude and when I say "NO, the clear is fine" ...she pulls out two acrylics one light nude and one pink, she's so persistent that she puts the light nude on my pinky nail to persuade me to pick the light nude all the while saying "see, that's the right color, like picture." I say no that's not like the picture but she says again "this it, I promise you, just trust me, you see".... I say Ms. Jan your not listening to me. .....CONTINUED.... read more

I went for a spa pedicure today and paid $40 for a deluxe pedicure and the guy who gave me a pedi didn't even bother removing the calluses from my feet. The short tiny guy was so lazy that he didn't even bother massaging my feet properly. He put lotion on my leg and then left for a bit so it can dry then came back to finish rubbing it off so he doesn't have to provide the service I paid for. Talk about lazy and crappy service and then charging you extra for not bothering to do the work. They are never receiving my refferal or business again. read more

Came in for a quick pedicure. My inner punster wants to say they nailed it. Nail salons Are for women what sports bars are for mens. Come to a nail salon often enough, and you start to be treated like Norm from cheers. They know exactly what service you expect, what your drink of choice is, and can gauge whether you are in a talkative mood or not. Like most salons, walk-ins are welcome. I went during a weekday, at an odd hour between three and four in the afternoon. The layout is pretty typical for most nail salons. There is an area for manicures, and an area for pedicures. And I believe an area for waxing. There are TVs on the wall, massage chairs, and bowls of candy all around. The staff is polite enough. They are gauging how social you are wanting to be. That day I wasn't feeling exceptionally social. It was also an off hour. The salon was only filled with maybe 2 to 4 other customers. When I arrived I preselected my polish color. I was led to the back row of chairs and seated and asked what scent I wanted in the water as my toes were caressed by Jacuzzi jet streams. I flipped on the massage chair and sat back. My nail technician made quick work of dealing with calluses, nails, old nail polish, and any other array of things that seemed to need care. I selected a basic pedicure from the menu. I received a nice leg massage and exfoliation. My toes were painted a pretty iridescent blue color. I was quite pleased with the results and managed to get about 3 1/2 to 4 weeks out of my pedicure. The cost was Reasonable and was a good value. Not to mention, I received water, candy, and had a relaxing Experience Overall. read more

I received the worst service for my pedicure! I walked in didn't wait long, picked out my color and then got seated in a chair but the lady that did my pedicure was rude! She tried to up sell me but I declined and after that she acted like she didn't want to do my pedicure at all! I didn't even get to soak my feet that long maybe about 5 mins, she didn't ask me how the water was or anything! After she was finish painting my nails she didn't come back to let me know that my feet were dry enough to go home! The worst service ever! read more

So in love with my nails. The service was fantastic and I loved the atmosphere. I had a reference picture for my nails but my nail tech went beyond that. She asked me for my opinion when she had new ideas and was not offended when I declined some of them. My regular nail studio has gone downhill so my friend suggested I try this place and we had a wonderful experience. It was super crowded, we were able to be seated right away. They have a wide variety of services and a truly relaxing atmosphere. I very much enjoyed the vibe versus how other salons are packed to capacity and it's basically a cattle call. My nail tech took ample time on each step and listened to me when I told them what I wanted. I love the way my nails turned out and I will definitely be back. She showed me her nails. Big deal! I asked her to round them. Okay. Next came the manicure, oops. She cut my fingernails really short, leaving them rough and thought she was finished. I highly recommend asking for Cathy, she did a wonderful job on my pedicure, and the brown and white design I asked for on my nails is gorgeous and exactly like the picture. My daughter came here yesterday for a mani/pedi prior to graduation week festivities. She spent hours and over $100 here and left with rhinestones on nails and a couple toes. Less then 24 hours later, the rhinestones on her toes had fallen off. She called and they acted annoyed, but told her to come in immediately and was hung up on while she was asking a question. She did come right in, then they told her to wait a while. She's on the verge of tears during the busiest week of her young life, so I came to meet her here. They had just got her into a chair when I arrived. The lady was going on and on about how rhinestones don't stay on white polish, so it would do no good to put them back on (they matched her nails which were gel). I asked why that wasn't stated yesterday before she wasted time and money and then had them come off. At this point we don't have time to start again with gel on toes...but if this was a known problem, why wouldn't it be mentioned yesterday when they were putting rhinestones on? They didn't/couldn't answer that. But they didn't like the attention when others were listening to our conversation so they just painted them back white and left off the rhinestones, and gave her $10 back which I assume was the cost of the stones she no longer has. I have no doubt she would have been bullied and ignored if I hadn't shown up for backup. Won't be back here...too many other choices to be treated this way. We really shouldn't have tried a new place this week, that's on us. Lesson learned. read more

Coming from Dallas, I was expecting this salon to be equivalent of the ones that I have been going too--but I was wrong. The staff (mainly the guy who did my manicure/pedicure) was extremely rude. He was pushy, trying to get me to do the most expensive pedicure when I had stated multiple times that I was just looking for a quick fix up. I ended up getting the deluxe pedicure, and it was short of deluxe-- definitely not how the description made it out to be. I was not offered any drink of any sorts either, and my friend and everyone around me was. The massage lasted maybe 5 minutes, and it was not an impressive massage by any means. this might be TMI- but In the weeks following, I also got the WORST hang nail on my toe. So bad, that it actually got infected and I have had to contact a doctor They also seem under staffed, as in the same man did my toes and then did my nails. I was going to get shellac, but I began to get too impatient with his attitude that I changed my mind and went for a normal manicure. Overall, my experience was disappointing and I will not go back, nor do I recommend this nail spa to anyone. I was really hoping to enjoy it, and unfortunately that was not the case. 2 stars because I know it's new, and it is clean. read more

I had a full set of new nails done and they were pulling up around the edges by day 8. I have NEVER had that happen in from other salons in years past. I went back in at day 10 and explained my disappointment and they blamed me for the way they were lifting. The guy kept telling me, "don't worry, don't worry, I'll fix it". So first time here. Pedicure first and requested the spa pedicure. Also have a cut on toe from screen door so informed her that the cut was there and to be careful also not to use the cooling gel. Not a fan. First she opened my cut with cuticle tool and then applied cooling gel. The didn't massage my feet just applied lotion. No filing and no cleaning under nails.
