I'm a former Ray Catena Infiniti customer (20+ years) and changed due to their dealership in Bridgewater closing. So, I'm fairly new to the Edison Infiniti team (less than a year). So far, so good. Ramon Guitteriez was very attentive and responded to my needs at the time I was closing out my lease. However, I did have to follow up for my license plates a day or two before the temporary ones expired. My recent service visit was surprisingly at no cost to me as a newbie. I'm hoping my experience continues to be positive which is one of the main reasons I continue to buy Infiniti--the customer service. Reading the other comments is disappointing. I had an extremely frustrating experience with **Edison Infiniti** after purchasing a used car with cash. While the buying process seemed smooth at first, everything went downhill afterward. I paid in full and was told the title would be processed and sent promptly. Instead, I waited **six months** without receiving the title. During that time, I had to repeatedly call and follow up, only to get vague answers and little to no accountability. It felt like once the sale was completed and they had my money, customer service no longer mattered. Buying a car outright should be the simplest type of transaction, yet this turned into a prolonged and stressful ordeal. Not having the title for that long created unnecessary complications and anxiety. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a used vehicle here -- especially a cash purchase -- to make sure you get clear, documented timelines and follow up aggressively. Steve was our sales rep who was nice, realistic and down to earth. He was not the type of sales rep to harass you to buy the car if you know what I mean. My husband and I went back and forth on a used truck at Edison infinity for about a week... finally after looking into different dealers for similar trucks, we decided to return here. Put partial deposit down over the phone and took truck home upon return to dealer very soon after. Jean, manager, however mentioned that they'd match our banks rate if we went through their bank, however upon signing the papers, "that's impossible". So unfortunately we had to settle for their rate for signing and now attempt to get our banks rate. read more

What a trash dealership. Bait and switch on me. I asked in advance for the out the door price before I visited. They listed the $800 document fee and $200 etching. I was okay with those fees even though they're a little bit exorbitant. Once I got there, test drove the vehicle. Spent the whole morning coordinating with my dad to get a ride home with the new vehicle. I'm sitting down to sign and I see a $2,500 dealer prep fee. Supposedly this is their cost to get the vehicle ready for sale. That is an exorbitant fee that was not listed when I called in advance. The manager gas lit me like I was out of line for being upset about being lied to and having my morning wasted. There were other reviews that talked about this exact experience. I thought by calling ahead and getting a list of the fees I would be protecting myself and my time. They still had the nerve to try and sneak this past me even after I had them list out the fees. If you go to a highway dealership in New Jersey with such poor reviews and think you're going to have a different experience you get what you deserve. Learn from my mistake and others. The reviews are true. Bait and switch tactics. Manager Phil talks to you like you're stupid. The sales guy Steve wasn't bad. I saw the bad reviews but gave the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. Pate, who answers the phone acts like she's a sales person. She doesn't even work there. They'll say anything to get you in the door and then twist it all up when you come in and talk to you like you're crazy. Stay far far away. read more

Till today, I keep calling the finance and the sales manager to receive the proof of cancellation, all I keep on hearing is we are still waiting. Matt Giglio(service manager)and Manor Agulair(salesman): Brought 2019 Q50 Luxe CPO. I love how out the box they say cargurus price isn't correct/inaccurate the car costs more. Still waiting maintenance/service history and the cpo inspection checklist that is signed off on by an Infiniti certified mechanic. Here is a pick of the belt tensioner, belt is intermittently making noise between 2.5k - 3k rpms under acceleration. The wear markings show the belt is end of life(arrow to right of notch). I also had to add coolant to the vehicle (blue) and oil. Wasn't all this stuff checked/inspected?? So far I've only gotten verbal assurances of what has been done, but nothing on paper showing this Edison CPO inspection. I'm very disappointed in my purchase I spent almost $30k on a car and the front bumper has scratches that Manor promised would be addressed and other body markings. The engine bay was filthy, the interior was barely detailed. Upon delivery and I was not made aware upon the sale that the CPO was not through corporate but through your dealer which puts 100 miles on my car just for a maintenance/warranty claim each time. So you push a CPO warranty but don't even honor it 'time of delivery' or provide documentation of what is covered or a vehicle service history report? Day of purchase 1-20-23 the vehicle was not ready, there was a gash and heavy air leak in passenger right tire(if not for that they were gonna let me drive the car home as-is!!) I drive the hour back-up on the second day 1-21-23, was guaranteed the car was done and had CPO inspection by Manor...I was allowed to drive the car home with a bent left tie-rod end that could have ended in an accident on my hour drive home. Thankfully I went straight to a tire/mechanic shop to discover this out because I was concerned of how the car was behaving. This cost me $610 out of pocket. This resulted in the car having to be picked-up and taken back to your dealer for service, and I still have not received documentation on all the work performed or any previous maintenance records! While you have made some efforts to make it right and I do appreciate it, this has left a bad taste in my mouth over this entire experience. Considering this is a luxury brand CPO guaranteed by your dealer, you have certain expectations that come with it. Even a simple ask of getting 2 keyfobs instead of 1 for a certified pre-owned car is proving difficult. I'm going to forward this to infiniti consumer affairs and all of Infiniti social media. I would not recommend Edison Infiniti to anyone and would never purchase a car from your dealership again. Is this how all customers are treated? Even some of the items that I guess were addresse, were the items that should have been done in the first place since the car is CPO. Because I have yet to receive any maintenance history documentation or the CPO checklist...I will be diligently continuing to document any issues this car has and consider my options under the NJ lemon law. read more

Worst dealership I have ever been to. tired to show me older cars with damage when I told them I only came in to see just 1 specific car. when discussing price the sales person said let me work on getting the best price.Made me sit in their office alone for 27 mins and I had to go looking for him. and he came back with the same base price and adding other charges that were never mentioned. For my trade in offered me 1/2 the price of what other places offered me. I was able to buy the same car with less miles for better price somewhere else. From start to finish our experience was a nightmare. Beware, they take your down payment, change your insurance, etc. before running credit. Everything sounds great until your score is 798, and you need to have an 800 to be considered Tier One. No exceptions! Due to that our payments went up $43 a month. The managers and staff were rude and condescending. Then, after the registration was more than a week late, they wanted to charge us to have it overnighted to Staten Island. Dealership is dirty from the top down. Drove 5.5 hours for a vehicle that was supposed to be held for me and then sold to someone else as I was in the showroom negotiating my deal. The problem was that I was on the ball and refused to pay the $10k in add-ons. The folks who bought the car were referred to by salesman Steve as "those freakin' Filipinos" who apparently were willing to pay the $10K in bogus fees. I contacted Infinity Corporate who must have contacted the dealer. Gene Lopez, GM contacted me. His response to the derogatory remark about the customer's nationality was, "that's why he's a salesman and I'm the GM". No apology or statement that the dealership doesn't condone this type of bigotry. And as for the $10K in bogus add-ons, he claimed they were added as a service to their customers and many people want that added protection. They promised that the vehicle that I was interested in would be Infinity Certified only to find that their dealership isn't authorized to certify so they would have done a bait and switch with an aftermarket warranty. Dirty and deceitful from management on down. I can't believe that Infinity can tarnish their brand with a dealer like this. I will NEVER purchase any Infinity as this type of dealer behavior receives a blind eye from Infinity Corp. read more

I have used a leasing company for years and never had a problem. Resently I leased an Infiniti ,thru a leasing company , and the car came from Edison Infiniti. They gave me a temporary plates for the car until my new registration came in. The dealership is responsible for getting the registration. Temporary plates are good for 30 days. Every time I called about my registration, I was given different answers, the girl who handles it is off or we use a third party to get registrations. Needless to say 30 days came and went. I finally called to speak to the manager, Gene Lopez, to explain to him that it's been 60 days and I have a car I can't drive because I still have no registration. His answer to me was this is what you get for going to a leasing company and not coming to us directly. We take care of our own customers first. Mind you the dealership still gets their commission even though I went to a leasing company. The worst customer service I have ever gotten. With a manager like Gene I could only imagine how many customers they lose. read more

all these negative reviews on yelp are 100% true. this is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. their staff is not just rude, they are u professional lying pieces of crap. Their " sales manager" as he calls himself is a piece of garbage who knows nothing about customer service. They lost my MSO, and I couldn't get my permanent plates for months. Don't go this dealer to buy any car and do any service , This Edison Infiniti dealer is a liar!!! My car has powertrain warranty and the car transfer case has leaking fluids ,but when the dealer inspection done,the service manager Matthew told me said "Tranfer Case will be cover powertrain warranty,but You must pay $1250 to replacement passenger side axle," Actually I check my axle before,2 car repair store agreed issues at transfer case and recommend me to get warranty service, so I confirmed the right Axle NOT any issues,also I check the problem on website,the NHTSA state (https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10173587-0001.pdf),this is leaking form transfer case seal,Nissan car common problem(33114 SEAL-OIL, DRIVE PINION). Then, I declined to pay $1250 replacement axle,well! The also the dealer fking declined to fix the transfer case and The Guys ask me for $200 for inspection fee! I just want to ask the stupid dealer,You are dealer ,You are not Macy,Or children place, WTF to request customer to Buy one get one free? My axle not any problem, (inspection 2 time at repair store) and I had power train warranty,Even if the axle had problem,Why I can not request get warranty to fixed transfer case first? Not an honest dealership. So many things about my transaction were very unprofessional. History: I bought a 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel, apprx. $60k. I thought I was making this transaction easy and as smooth as possible with putting down $2k to hold this vehicle as I was not able to drive away that day. I was assured everything would be in order and vehicle would be washed and ready to drive away when I returned. Returned a week later with the funds, still had to wait 2 hours! Then the deceiving started. The paperwork was completed but my $2k deposit was not accounted for. I was assured that it would be refunded electronically (used my debit card so I assumed this would be handled the same way it was charged, instantly, as electrons flow pretty fast). 1st lie, it'll take 3-5 days, 2nd lie, the person is off that handles these transaction, 3rd lie, "I'm looking at the check right now and will put it in the mail today, maybe tomorrow and you should have it by Wednesday", 4th lie, on Friday I called and was told that it would be forwarded to another office for electronic refund and expected this to be completed the next week. Finally I told the dealership that I would be filing a small claims suit on Monday if i did not get it that day. Lo and behold, I had my $2000 in my account Saturday morning. I still can't believe their straight face lying! The other incident, upon picking up the vehicle, I was informed that there is only one key fob. New vehicles come with 2 key fobs. Since this was listed as used, it had 164 miles on it, I was told that they would have to locate it. (How could a dealership misplace this? This is what they do, sell vehicles! ) Well they told us if they couldn't find it, they would get another replacement. Robert Berlin even shook hands on it because my wife was adamant about this and stated it would be a deal breaker. A hand shake is binding in my book and just goes to show how unprofessional and deceiving this dealership is. Let me first say that I have never complained about a business in my life but I could not let this one go. I brought my car, a 2014 Infiniti QX60, to Edison Infiniti, 842 US-1, Edison, NJ on March 14, 2023. I explained to Matthew Scalia, the Service Advisor, that my check engine light was on and my car was idling high. He was polite and I got a loaner and left. On March 15, 2023 I was informed by Matthew that I needed MAF sensor, air filter, bank 1 catalytic converter and bank I O2 sensor with one time used parts for $3,622.52, a used transmission for $6,693.56, fix my sun visor for $315, fuel and induction cleaning $279.95 and brake fluid $229.95 for a grand total with tax of $12,091.26. I told him I was picking up my car. Took my car to a local honest garage and my car was properly diagnosed and needed a MAF sensor, air filter and O2 sensor only. I car was fixed for $1,127.79. The catalytic converter did not come up as a diagnostic at all and I definitely did not need a transmission. I am thoroughly disgusted. SHAME ON INFINITY. I would never step foot in there again and warn anyone to beware of these crooks. read more

If I could put a zero star I would, I used to go to the Ray Catena near this service center, but it closed and I was referred to this joke of a place! First of all, I am greeted with one of the sales people, Vincent, pulling his middle finger at me as I entered the premises to receive my car service. I've never met the guy, nor heard of him in my entire life! He later Approached me and claim he thought I was someone else, I don't believe that for a second! This sales rep also tried to stop me from getting into the property by putting his whole arm thru my window, I had to asked him multiple times to get his arm out of car that I need to get to my service appointment. I obviously complaint and all I got was a voicemail from Dario who claims to be the general manager of the sales associate on Dec 12, 2022. I have called back and left voicemails multiple times but Dario does not return any of my phone calls. I have no plans of coming back to a place where they have no disregard for their customer nor care to listen to a complaint from of their customers.
