Bought it from these guys who take total advantage of people, I called them told them the trans is slipping, he said call dealer!!! WOW. I called dealer not only does it need a transmission, It needs brakes, and tires. I put 10,000 miles on this car since I got it from advantage. I don't understand why people would put a bad review against advantage motors ,,I personally had a fantastic experience with this dealer that I would have never found with any other dealer . ,,it starts out like this : I have been searching for a ford ranger for months , and with all the internet sites to check out I have found 4 trucks that I was very interested in but for the life of me I couldn't get two of the dealers to call me back ,and 2 other dealers told me the truck was sold but they can put me into another truck (same old tactics used ), I found another truck I was interested in and it was at advantage motors , but this time I decided to just show up at the dealer to see if the truck was really there and to see what it looked like before I talked to anyone , well with my surprise the truck was really there and wasn't sold already ,and it looked great for a 2002 truck . Now I went in with only a very low down payment and these guys at this dealer was great with excepting that low down payment . These little things mean a great big deal to me (having the truck and not being told it is sold , and helping me out with the down payment ), But not only did they do this little thing for me ,,these guys went above and beyond by doing so much more. when I seen it was a 2002 truck and with a very low price tag ,I really wasn't looking for any type of warranty or any repairs to be done to the truck ,I expected to get the truck AS IS condition and I would have been happy with the way it was because it was in great shape . But now what these guys did for me was they realized I would need new belts soon so they put them on without me knowing it was being done , they fixed the rear 3rd brake light that I would have never known it was blown , they did the normal oil changes and flushes , they fixed interior light that I told them not to worry about ,, and to top it all off, when I came into that dealer before they opened I noticed a plug was put into the rear tire I guess from a nail , I did not say anything to the sales guys because again I figured for a 2002 truck the tires would have been my problem ,,these guys put on a set of new tires just because of that plug ,again they didn't have to tell me about it and they sure didn't have to fix it ,but they did. I just love how they take it upon themselves to make sure the car is in good working order before they release it to the buyer.. I just have 1 word about this dealer ,,,,AWESOME !!!!, I recommend everyone looking for a car or truck to contact this place first ,,if they don't have what you are looking for they will help to find it for you and then make sure it is in great shape before releasing it to you now for all the people that read reviews , before you believe what people write ,please see all the reviews that those particular people have written about other companies first before judging most ,and you will find out that most people that leave bad reviews do nothing but complain about everyone ,and everything I am sure it cant be everyone's fault but your own read more

It was a bad alternator and it was actually impressive to see a business that cares about their customers even though I was an out of state visitor. This place is hysterical. Fill out a credit app on their website last night. By 2:00-today nobody calls. So I call there and they say they called with questions. Bullshit nobody called. So I hang up the phone and they are going to run credit (this is for my son). So 2-hours goes by and I hear nothing from them!!!!! I call back and get put on hold and then someone comes back and picks up phone and hangs up. I have to call back again. No apology, just I am with customers and will call you back. Well guess what, they would have had a sale with me because I would have co-signed for my son if needed. Not now. Forget this place. I will take him to a Ford Dealer. I have a Mazda and my husband a Chevy truck. At both dealers we were approved and out the door in an hour with our new vehicles. What kind of joke is this place. So the saga continues.. Next day calls me and loan approved. Wants to see my sons truck for trade in. I tell my son he is approved and go check out truck and get it if he wants. We live an hour away so hadn't been there in person yet. So my son drives an hour and the truck isn't there. Kevin said the owner was using it to move mulch for the weekend. Then proceeds to tell me when I call there that I didn't communicate we were coming there. Are you kidding me?????? Don't advertise vehicles that aren't there!!!!! You have a truck advertised to sell and call me and tell me my son is approved but don't have the truck on the lot and never thought to tell me that.. Then blamed me for not knowing because I didn't call and communicate with him my son was going there today to buy truck... I wouldn't recommend this dealership to ANYONE. At first every worker, esp the sales man, Kevin, we're all so nice and helpful. I bought I truck that I loved it drove great both times I test drove it so of course I purchased the car. The day I drove it off the lot one of the struts broke and I had to take it to two different shops bc advantage motors could not figure out what it was. A couple days after that the airbag lights kept coming on and when I called they told me it was just a sensor and that they could turn it off for me... Not fix the problem just turn the light off. Shortly after that the driver light started blinking. I looked it up on line and read that it happens when there is trans problem. Again I called the dealership and was told again that it was just a sensor. It did stop for a little but it started up again and this time never stopped. By this time my warranty was up. Long story short my trans ended up having major problems and when I took it to the dealership to try to trade it for something more reliable Kevin and his team told me it wasnt worth anything to trade and told me they would not help me. They are scam artists and I would recommend going elsewhere. read more
