My boss (a Dallas attorney) was set to fly into New York to give a presentation to secure a possible multi-million dollar case. At the very last minute his flight was canceled (due to bad weather) and he was re-routed into Washington, DC which forced him to take the train from Washington, DC into New York VERY early the next morning. Because of the last minute change, we had no vendor to put together 10 copies (color copied and bound) of his presentation when my boss would have it completed (1 am initially, which I believe turned into closer to 2 am). To say I was in a panic, is an understatement. I called around to various DC copy vendors who claimed and promoted themselves on line as 24 hour, but was told over and over they were unable to help. I stumbled across this company online, crossed my fingers, once again dialed the number and was greeted by Todd. As I stated I was already in a panic but Todd immediately set my mind at ease by telling me he would call the owner to see what they could do to help. Less than 5 minuets later, I received a phone call back from Todd who said he had called the owner Michael Phelps (Mike) , who would do our job himself! A few emails and several phone calls later I was talking with the owner on his personal cell phone who not only assured me they had all the materials necessary (clear cover & black vinyl back, tab inserts, and GBC binding) he would personally deliver it to the attorney's hotel which just happened to be 8 blocks away by the 6:30 am deadline. I would like to note that my boss is a perfectionist and has a VERY keen eye for detail, and this presentation was a HUGE deal. I was so nervous that evening I could hardly sleep, not knowing how everything would work out. As soon as I jumped out of bed that morning, I immediately sent a text to my boss to inquire about the end result of the the presentation materials, which he emailed Mike in the wee hours of the morning. His response "Perfect, Thanks!". I can't begin to tell you how great these guys are! They went WAY above and BEYOND the call of duty for us! If you find yourself in a crunch, or in a similar situation were you don't know who you can trust, you can count of these guys! THANK YOU, so much Mike and Todd for being reliable, honest, kind and courteous!! - Jen H., Legal Assistant, Diamond McCarthy LLP read more

Imagine having an employee pick up your '11th hour' marketing materials from a globally known shipping & copy shop only to discover they look absolutely awful. What to do? Trash 'em, or use the materials at the risk of compromising your carefully cultivated brand image? Swear to never patronize the shop again as you mumble expletives under your breath? Threaten to post your experience onto all your social networking sites unless the shop redoes the job and does it right? Or, determine the job was beyond the shop's capabilities in the first place? Oops, 'your bad.' That's where 'eDiscovery Solutions' comes in. As a west coast branding and marketing consultant, I had no inkling of where to turn for professional, high-quality printing in the Washington DC area. But I was determined to help my client out of this unfortunate and unanticipated jam. A quick Google search revealed eDiscovery Solutions to be a top print and copy provider that downtown Washingtonians have come to rely upon for their important printing needs. A review of their impressive website, www.discoverydc.com, further set my mind at ease. Everything I threw out at eDiscovery Solutions' charismatic owner, Michael Phelps - not to be confused with the Olympic swimming champ - was greeted with unbridled enthusiasm and a 'no-worries' assurance that his expertly trained team and high-quality printing equipment could handle the job: Double-sided, full-bleed, legal size color flyers on premium 100 lb paper folded in half, check! Double-sided, color printing on glossy paper-stock precision cut into quarters, check! Expedited printing for next day early morning pick-up, check! By the time Michael mentioned the price and 30-day invoicing, I wondered if I could convince him to set-up a satellite office in SoCal. With professionalism, excellent customer service and advice, Michael and his amazing team at eDiscovery Solutions came to my client's rescue and delivered a product that was absolutely stunning, if not flawless. BOTTOM LINE: eDiscovery Solutions is your one-stop printing and copy source for exceptional quality, affordably priced printing in the DC area for projects of any size or scope, whether you're under a deadline or not. read more

I had an urgent print job the other day, which FedEx royally screwed up. I was in Los Angeles trying to get this project completed for my boss who was in DC for the week. 45 presentations printed and bound - I yelped a 24 hour printing place and came across eDiscovery Solutions. I called and Michael answered - he was packing up since they had finished print jobs for the day as it was 10pm ET, but kindly offered to stay to get my job done. He was patient through the hassle of getting him the documents that were too big to send over email and we were in frequent contact throughout the evening. Michael was so kind and reassuring - it was a true pleasure working with him. He was helpful in giving advice as to which kind of binding would be best used for the presentations I needed created. To top it all off - he personally delivered the presentations to the hotel where my boss was staying at 1:30am. He called when he was at the front desk to let me know he was leaving them there. Then he followed up with me first thing the next morning. I was astonished and touched at his customer service. And then the invoice came, again, very pleasantly surprised as the total came out to be over $200 LESS than what FedEx was going to charge. I recommend eDiscovery Solutions 100% - I urge you to work with them rather than going to a mass chain that rarely gets an order correct. As Michael said to me when I first called in tears - he is there to do the job that places like FedEx doesn't do. read more

Outstanding service. Timely and cost-effective. I did some quick research around Foggy Bottom for presentation materials to be printed and set into binders for a conference. eDiscovery had the most cost-effective service at $35/page for color printing (they will usually color print for $30/page but our files were weirdly distorted and needed their additional service but even with that it still much cheaper than the other printing companies I researched. We were very thankful they were able to accommodate with this irregular situation). Mr. Phelps and his staff stayed very late to finish set up the binders in a very timely fashion. Jo Anna was very kind and accommodationg to even the smallest details that we had to ask of her (one of our documents needed to be "tri-folded" before being inserted into the binders). We gave them the data late evening and received all the binders fully set by early next morning. Both paper and color qualiies were more than satisfying. Not only were they helpful in the regular basis, Mr. Phelps was kind enough to come in on Sunday to print additional materials we unexpectededly received the day before the conference. He came right away and gave us exactly what we needed within hours. Highly recommened and we will definitely come back to him if we need anything to be printed and organized again! read more

By far the best example of customer service coupled with high quality printing I have ever experienced. On a Saturday morning, I was charged with printing a large number funeral programs by Monday AM. This was a multi-page, double-sided, color project with staples. I live in Maryland and I had contacted several Kinkos & Staples locations attempting to find 11" by 17" paper for sale; none of the locations I contacted had the paper I needed. Losing hope fast I decided to contact print shops in Washington DC with Saturday hours and randomly called eDiscovery Solutions. I spoke with the owner/Michael asking if I could buy the needed paper; Michael explained that he could possibly help me out by printing the entire job. I explained my project and followed up with an email. Later that afternoon after reviewing my email message Michael explained that my job would be ready on Sunday morning. Early Sunday morning, as promised, Michael called to tell me that my job was ready for pickup. Michael not only extended himself to a complete stranger but made the family who had lost a loved one extremely happy. Words cannot sufficiently express the gratitude we all felt toward Michael & his staff. I will definitely do business with eDiscovery Solutions in the future and look forward to working with Michael. What an ANGEL!!!!!! read more

I work in international development and my firm had a conference recently where we worked on preparing background materials late into the day on a Sunday. I needed more than a thousand pages color-printed and bound for next morning and randomly hit up eDiscovery Solutions. Michael P. was a life-saver: very efficient and eager to help. I emailed him the material and picked it up a few hours later at about 9 pm all printed and bound. He stayed late to finish the job just how we wanted it. Made my life REALLY easy. Not many other places were open at that time of the day on Sunday- certainly not in downtown- and FedEx, etc, would have taken at least until mid-day next day. What's more, I didn't even have to pay Michael right away. He encouraged me to just get an invoice from him the next day and have our finance department give him a check a few weeks later (they take their time!). Michael was supremely patient and pleasant from start to finish. I encourage you to take your business to him for great and efficient service; he's certainly going to be my go-to vendor. =) read more

Michael at eDiscovery is a true lifesaver. I called him to inquire about CD duplication services and he patiently talked me through a number of options - many of which would be free for me and thus against his self-interest. Being technologially incompetent myself, I decided that I needed Michael's help. He offered to come all the way to my office to collect the CD, run the copies, and return the project, thus saving me tremendous time and effort. AND he gave me a huge discount on the price (even though I should have been paying him at least double for the incredible service). Michael was wonderfully friendly, cooperative, professional, and accommodating. His service was top notch and I would recommend him enthusiastically to anyone who is in need of copying, printing, or duplication services - or probably just about anything else!! He's a true gem. read more

I had a wonderful experience with eDiscovery today. I work with an organization in the SF Bay Area, and we are holding a conference this weekend in DC. After getting the run around from a nearby FedEx/Kinkos, my boss and I found eDiscovery through Yelp. A lovely woman by the name of Joanna was so helpful and kind! Though they normally work by appointment only, they happened to have an opening today, so she was more than willing to help us out. We had several documents that needed printing, along with booklets for our (100+) conference attendees and speakers. She was able to finish the order this evening (everything looks great!) for a reasonable price. Definitely go to eDiscovery for your DC printing needs! Just remember to call in and make an appointment so you are sure to be seen. read more

I've never had anything but awful experiences trying to get things printed at the typical locations like Kinko's or Staples. Fortunately I came across eDiscovery when I needed some last minute printing for a conference today, and eDiscovery went WAY beyond my expectations from start to finish. First off, Michael was extremely helpful and responsive (he answered the phone right away when I called and responded to all my emails personally within a few minutes). I had plenty of questions which he helped me through. Perhaps most importantly, they got my job done really quickly and it was ready with plenty of time. It was really cheap too! With high quality color copies. My company is based in NY but I plan to get all my posters, brochures etc. done here. It's worth any shipping cost! read more

I was in DC for business in October 2017 and needed a 4 ft by 3 ft poster printed and delivered to my hotel. Michael completed the order ASAP and I was extremely pleased with the quality of the work and the rapid delivery, all at a great price. But this review does not end there...several months later I was in the process of submitting reimbursement requests with my company and could not find my receipt (I misplaced it, a common occurrence on my part). I sent Michael an email requesting another copy of the receipt. This was around 7 PM ET. Michael responded within several minutes and said he would track down the receipt. Shortly thereafter I received a copy of the receipt by email. I just want to say this guy is really fantastic and more than deserves the 5 star rating. read more

Awesome Customer Service. I flew in to DC from California to set up an event. I needed copies of info. sheets of our products. I called a couple places & Michael was the only one that even suggested he could possibly help me in the time I needed. He kept in contact with me throughout the day & evening. It was a Sunday that he picked up documents, made the copies, gave me a reasonable quote, and delivered within only few hours. And the quality, Excellent. I have to thank his family, because he took the time out of his Sunday to help me. That was so Awesome. He went beyond serving a customer. Michael you are my hero. We are using the copies & give them to clients here in California. I absolutely give you 5 stars, thanks for your help. read more

Jo and Wuba are FANTASTIC!! I can't praise these two wonderful women enough, for their fun and sweet personalities, as well as their immediate, professional and kind help! While leaving Boston, for a conference in the D.C. area, I received a last minute email, with the material for the conference. Unable to print and the conference starting at 7:30 a.m., the next day, Jo and Wuba calmed my anxiety by getting right to work, printing, suggesting and creating a professional manual. THANK YOU!! Michael, you should be proud of your "daughters", they're the best! I have passed my praises about eDiscovery Solutions, onto others in my office. We will be using eDiscovery for our printing needs, when in D.C. read more

My friend and I were in downtown DC when we found out we need a hard copy (just a couple of pages) of a document to submit to one of the institutions in the area. We found eDiscovery Solutions through Google, called them, sent the document and had it printed out in less then 15 minutes. It was our first experience with this company, but we were received as if we were their customers for several years. Professional, fast and friendly service. And very compassionate: they understand they can save your time. I highly recommend their services to anyone who needs the services they provide in the downtown DC area. I wish they could expand and keep the same level of service in their new locations. read more

Michael was a life saver ! We were in a pickle while at an important international conference since there had been a mix up about the poster we had to present. 2 hours before presentation time (on a Saturday mind you!), when no other print shop would even consider taking our offer, Mike was professional, courteous and on point. He took our order, proofed it to PDF, printed the poster and then delivered it to us at the venue for a price that left me shocked! It was as affordable as printing at a big name poster printing company without the hassles, drama, phone waits! Next time I am in DC, I will be using eDiscovery for our printing, copying needs. A truly dependable and professional service! read more

Our company needed a very important proposal hand delivered in Washington DC due to a missed shipping deadline. We found eDiscovery on line, contacted them to discuss the job needed, spoke to the owner Michael and one of his employees, felt they were competent and trust worthy by our conversations, and e-mailed the information to them that evening. They immediately took care of the job, took pictures of the completed job and e-mailed the pictures back to give peace of mind, hand delivered an hour earlier than committed and followed up with an e-mail that the job was done. Extremely thankful for their services and would highly recommend them! read more

Micheal saved my life twice in 2 days. He sacrificed his weekend and printed my poster. After finding out that my poster had many mistakes, I had to correct it. The problem is it was a Sunday and I didn't find any printing shop to print. Luckily Micheal answered my call at 9 AM and he said "I got your back". He kept his promise and printed my poster also gave me a free ride to Walter E Washington Convention Center. Also in the second day of the conference we had another poster he printed it for me. Truly a nice guy who saved my life. Next time I arrive to DC I should pay a visit for him. Thank you eDiscovery Solutions for saving my lufe. read more

Mike was extremely helpful and quick to respond when contacting him via email. We needed 20 copies of handouts in color and the first page had to be a slightly thicker page. We also needed his assistance and best recommendation of adjusting the orientation of the handout considering the first page was horizontal while the rest of the pages were vertical which he was able to fix without any issues. Within ten minutes, he sent off my email to the rest of his team with the attachment and it was completed within no time! We had a wonderful experience working with eDiscovery Solutions and look forward to working with them in the future. read more

I was in a huge crisis when I landed in Washington D.C.- Mike worked with me via phone and internet from the time I landed until I went to bed to make sure that I had a beautiful poster printed AND DELIVERED within hours! It was as if he was a long time friend that would stop at nothing to help me out! I really cant express how amazing him and his color printing, rush, 24/7 service was! I would recommend his services to ANYONE in need of a beautiful print, especially if they are in a crisis. He drove across town at 9pm to personally deliver the color poster to my hotel- a level of customer service you can't get anywhere else! read more

We've been using Discovery for a couple of years now. Their dedication to clients and level of customer service is what makes us use them over and over again. Regardless of the size of the project, their staff is always very attentive and professional, going at great lengths to meet nearly-impossible deadlines or take on complicated projects, be it a 3 AM or Christmas Eve. For how hard their team works, pricing is very competitive and fair, and pick-ups and deliveries are free and speedy, eliminating a lot of stress and inconvenience.
