I did not choose to use this company on my own, as I didn't even know it existed. I had to pull some records from DC Archives (24" X 48" documents) and have them copied and bound, and this is the place that they utilize for that service. I can say that they were quick, as it didn't take them long to complete the order. And the copies came out fine. What really surprised me was the price. I was expecting it to be much more expensive than what it ended up being, so I was very happy to find out that they had already been copied and I would only pay a fraction of what I had anticipated having to pay. On the flip side, when I was at the DC Archive office, the lady informed me that they would call me before they copied them and let me know what the exact price was and when it could be picked up. They NEVER called me. I had to call them to see if they had even received the order from DC Archives, and at first they could not find my order, but when he looked again, not only did he find it but it was completed and ready for pick-up. So, I do think that they could maybe be a tad bit more organized. Will I use them again?!... Probably so. The quality of the copies were good, and the price was even better. read more

Like some other reviewers, I didn't even know this company existed - was referred to them by a top notch construction company. I knew if they were using them for printing blue prints, this would also be the company I wanted to work with. I called, asked to see if they could expedite the print job and an employee named Meredith worked with me to have them ready in less than 15 minutes. The cost seemed very reasonable. I got there a bit early and she indicated she could bring out directly to my car once they were ready. There was parking directly in front of the business - which is imp't in the area where parking seems very limited. Almost needless to say - the prints themselves seemed of top quality - nice quality paper, images crystal clear. read more

They verbally promised me a cost estimate before starting a scanning project of 1/2 box of letter-sized correspondence, then never contacted me with the estimated price and just went ahead with the scanning. I asked them twice and both times they confirmed they'd call me first so I could decide whether I wanted to proceed. No call until it was finished. It ended up being 4-5x ($220) what the guy guessed at ($50) when I took it in to be looked at. Very, very shady operation. I should have pursued either cancellation or legal action, but never wanted to deal with this project or these people again. Gross. read more

I used Blueboy to print a brochure for a nonprofit organization that I do volunteer work for. I called them 2 days before a huge exposition where my organization had a booth. Blueboy was incredibly professional, prompt and courteous. Our designer sent Blueboy the files and they took it from there. The final brochure looked amazing. Blueboy was incredibly easy to work with and the cost was very reasonable. Blueboy even delivered the brochures to my house, which was extremely helpful and saved me from having to go pick them up. My experience at this Print Shop was a good one. The employees were very helpful in assisting me getting my architect design to a large format for my project. They allow me to download a file on their computer and the cost was less then their competitors. I do recommend. read more

I like to try to support local businesses, so when I needed a few documents scanned into a single pdf, I decided to try out Blueboy, which was right around the corner. They charged $1.00/page for 6 pages which was a little steep, but then charged FIFTEEN DOLLARS to email me the file! Not only was the price outrageous, but they also did not inform me of the pricing beforehand, so by the time I got the total, I felt stuck having to pay it. Granted, I could have put up more of a fight, but I was so shocked at the $21 charge, I had trouble figuring out how to respond. I will not be returning and was disappointed that a small business would take advantage of customers in this way. read more
