I'm really surprised this place is so popular. I tried a variety of their chocolates from milwaukee…read morepublic market. They were all a similar quality, maybe a half step above something like a gold brick egg or the unbranded chocolates you get on easter or valentines day. Each and every one of their chocolates was made out of an identically flavored, identically consistent hard chocolate coating. The "coconut clusters" were literally just the same exact chocolate used for coatings, with a small amount of shredded coconut mixed in, in a solid glob that you have to gnaw on. I truly believe I could make a better coconut cluster at home in my kitchen right now with no experience. No mind was paid to ratios: the delicate honeycomb candy and whipped vanilla candy had such a thick hard chocolate coating on it that when you bit into it all you could taste was the chocolate and not the filling. The truffles... didn't resemble a truffle in anything but appearance. They were some type of fudge (again, think unbranded valentines day box) covered in the same super duper hard and thick chocolate coating. They were actually hard to eat. The ubiquitous chocolate was overly sweet and had nothing interesting about it. If I'm going to have too-sweet chocolate I prefer something like a hersheys bar. The only items I thought even had an appropriate filling to coating ratio, density, and flavor matchup was the jelly candy and toffee. The toffee was just identical to a heath bar, but I do like heath bars! The only compliment I have for this place is it's relatively cheap and would delight a child who could pick out a variety of things to try. I guess if you're looking for a local alternative to stuff stockings and easter baskets with, this would be a good idea. Due to its placement in the market, the typical chocolatier display, and the individually priced pieces of chocolate, I assumed this would be an artisanal product and was disappointed.

Chocolate lovers: I highly recommend stopping at Burke Candy & Ingredients! I've walked past this…read morebusiness for years and, somehow, never stopped in until last week, when I decided to pop in on a whim. Boy, am I glad I did! As a serious chocolate lover, I was immediately in heaven. I may have gotten a little carried away and left with several truffles in hand... and then proceeded to eat every single one of them in one sitting. Maybe that's not everyone's cup of tea, but honestly? I had absolutely no regrets. The chocolate was that good! I can't believe it took me so many years to finally walk through the door, but now that I have, I already know I'll be back. This is exactly the kind of local gem that deserves to be discovered and enjoyed. I can't wait to bring my mom here when she visits! If you love chocolate, truffles, or simply treating yourself to something delicious, do yourself a favor and stop in. You might just leave with several treats too... whether they make it home is another question.

Date of visit: July 28, 2025…read more I stopped in here as I am leading an effort to find local vendors that we can order from as part of a holiday gift effort for some of our customers. I perused the store and selected brittle, taffy, and chocolates as part of a taste testing for the whole team to determine which items were the best to consider as gifts for our customers. Staff was friendly and accomodating, and even offered me a sample after I completed my purchase. Oddly, despite spending about $70 and explaining what I was doing with my purchases, I didn't get a receipt. I dropped an email to the store and received a quick reply and was provided with a picture of the receipt that was quite small and blurry, though thankfully our AP department didn't question it too much and I still got reimbursed for the purchase! And if you were wondering, the taffy was surprisingly good, but wasn't labeled on the package in terms of what flavors were in each bag, so that was a big turn off for our taste testers. The chocolates were a big hit and will be a finalist for our customer gifts!

One of my two favorite chocolatiers in town! Their chocolates are creative, beautiful, and super…read moredelicious! Their specialty and seasonal products are top notch, especially the Faberge Eggs that they sell during Easter season. The Monet egg is filled with apricot vanilla bean compote and white chocolate creme brulee ganache, and the Rhapsody in Blueberry (new this year) is filled with a wild blueberry compote and white chocolate lemon marscapone ganache! I've also enjoyed their peppermint bark, toffee crunch bark, and their chocolates, especially the Calypso, which has a mango, habanero, and Jamaican rum filling! They are open Friday evenings and Saturday from Noon to 7:00. They have extended hours around the holidays, so follow them on social media to stay in the loop for hours and special product releases. They also started a CBD gummy company called Nectar, so check those products out, if interested in CBD and THC Delta-8.

It's the perfect place to pick up a candy gift or to treat yourself. The staff is always helpful too. When I stopped in they were running a special on their chocolate-covered strawberries, and of course I couldn't resist. They were fresh and delicious! Easter is one of my favorite with their different flavored filled eggs but I'm not sure there isn't anything in here I wouldn't love to take home with me any time of year. Welcome to a classic scenario of "you get what you pay for" in the form of a high quality coffee…read moreshop. This might be my favorite coffee shop in Milwaukee, but the overall experience might leave you more satisfied than anything else. The environment is modern with touches of vintage as the space is clearly set in an older building with upgrades and decor to match the current period. The seating options are comfy and the space is open. The front windows offer tons of natural light to make the space invigorating and fresh. It's hard to find a pour over coffee anymore because of the time and commitment involved in proper preparation. This place not only offers it but you can choose from over 20 options for this beverage! I went with a delightful cup of Ethiopian bliss and my heart was full. The prices are slightly high for the market and service is a bit slower compared to your typical shop. This is a place where you come to slow down and savor the experience as soon as you walk in the door. If you want quick and simple, go to the chain down the road. For an elevated experience that comes with quality product, make sure you stop here and experience it yourself.

It was so full that, if it weren't for the magic of surface tension, there would have been a big puddle on the saucer and table. It had great foam, a good balance of flavors, and the right temperature, along with some nice latte art. Service: The staff were friendly, both when taking orders and serving drinks. Atmosphere: Despite how busy it was, we were able to get a table. Unfortunately, the table wobbled because the legs were uneven. That was a bit of a challenge with my overfilled mocha, but some napkins fixed the problem. If I were going to nitpick, I'd also mention that the Wi-Fi is really slow. A good experience and a great latte.
